What is lacking in the Church?

Well, let’s start with how a human person can have both a body and a soul. The body is not the soul, and the soul is not the body, but the two belong together nonetheless more than gasoline and an engine belong together.

God has three persons. God and the three Persons of God belong together, and are indeed more One than gasoline while it is within the engine is one with the engine.

Now, just as a family can have four or five persons and still be one family, so also God can have three persons and still be one God.

I see a little more to your question than my answer provided. It seems that you would want to ask also, if Jesus is God then how is it that where Jesus is, God is if God is three persons and Jesus is just one? Well, I would like to start by pointing out that when we speak of Jesus this way we often prefer to call Him “the Christ.” It isn’t necessary exactly, it’s just more clear in what way we are speaking of Jesus by using a name that is associated with Him having the fullness of God in one person. The word Jesus Himself uses to describe this phenomenon is “heir.” For Jesus to represent to us the Father perfectly, so that the Father is not absent but is truly present wherever the Son is says something about their relationship they have to each other. In the world we have law to represent what has happened here, hence Jesus’ use of the word “heir.” If I as the father of my family designate my son to go to the city and do my work there for me, while I stay behind and do my work where I stay, then I legally have designated my son as “the family” as regards the city. Now, my son and I are quite imperfect compared to God, and there would be enough inefficiency in this that those who saw my son’s work would be able to see some absence of mine in it, but God is perfect and when the Son of the Father goes into the world to do His Father’s work, the Father is present without any loss in the Son.

But how?

So, I can agree that the body, soul, and mind work in tandem, but you mentioned only 2 things working together. There’s 3 beings, so I’m going to assume you mean’t that the body, soul, and mind work together, or is that not correct?

So with the gas being in the engine, it becomes one with the engine. So are you saying that the they have the ability to merge and demerge? So like for example, If Jesus wanted to become God, at any point, he can by shapeshifting or morphing into an invisible being that no one else can see? Like, how does that work?

Right, but in order for a family to have four or five persons, a Mom and a Dad have to be present in order for the Dad to impregnate Mom. And then Mom pops out a kid (or in your example 2-3 kids). But it’s not like the kids can merge with Mom and Dad, not even Mom and Dad can do that on their own, so I fail to see how this example relates to the fact that God can be 1 person or 3 persons at the same time, or separately.

And in response to the long response about Jesus, I’m wanting to know the process by which Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit can become 1 being or 3 separate beings but still be 1 God.

Peace to all,

What logically the Church does not understand is the Holy Spirit in being A Family from three Gods.

The Holy Spirit is not a person, rationally. The Holy Spirit is the Family of God One God in being, from The Father through The Mother for The Son becoming again in all One Family. And each God is equal in the Powers of God and separately Personal Gods preexistion and always together in One Holy Spirit Family One God in being.

The Holy Spirit is conecived in Jesus from Mary becoming the Christ for all mankind.

The Holy Spirit is the “Sophia” and entire Family logical undefiled intelligence from Creation becoming alive and living in all through both natures, spirit and life, The Immortal and Incorruptible Christ for all mankind becoming again for all Creation in One Holy Spirit Family One God in being.

True Catholic rebirth and salvation is logically from three Gods, created from the Father in Adam and Eve all mankind become transformed from Baptism in the Immaculate Conception in the New Eve from the Power of the Holy Spirit conceived in The Eternal Priestly Authority for Jesus to the New Adam becoming through the Christ from Sacrifice through Penance becoming forgiven for all mankind.

All from The Faith of Abraham, I believe.

From the Father through the Mother for the Son becoming through The Christ for all mankind becoming again for all Creation in One Holy Family, OMNiLogically, I believe.

Some ask, what gender is The Holy Spirit? OMNiLogically, The Holy Spirit is more than a person, rationally, more than a gencer, in fact, logically the Holy Spirit is non-gender, even better said physically, the Holy Spirit is all gender, all angels and Saints, all Old Covenant Saved and all martyrs and Dismas and Longinus and all mankind and even all creation becoming again for all in One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, OMNiLogically, I believe.

Peace always,
Stephen

You seem to be stuck on wishful thinking of God as being like yourself. There is no “process for God becoming three persons” as God in Himself does not become anything, God IS and that’s it. God did “become man” and that is why the incarnation is a peculiar event. As far as God being three persons in one God, it is a case of being, not becoming.

May I suggest you review the Athanasian Creed? CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: The Athanasian Creed

I never said God was a family. I compared the two, because just like a family can have more than one person but still be one family, so also God can have more than one person and still be one God, because just as the properties of family and persons do not contradict each other, so also the properties of God and persons do not contradict each other.

Well, in my previous quote I made a few guesses such as “shapeshifting” or “morphing.” I don’t think of God as myself, otherwise I would not have made the suggestion such as morphing or shapeshifting. If it helps, I can change the word “people” to “beings” if that helps.

I think you were more focused on the family example, which is fine, but we’re talking about a spirit (with the exception of Jesus Christ who is God and Man at the same time), but I guess since Jesus is no longer here but is body and soul up in Heaven, then it’s still confusing.

So basically, after reading your responses and the encyclopedia you posted, then I suppose there’s not a word that describes how God can be 3 people in 1. He just IS, which still makes no sense to me, cause I don’t see how a spirit can be 3 other spirits but still 1 spirit. Like the math isn’t making sense to me, which is why I only worship 1 God. I never could get behind this idea of 3 beings being 1 being.

But, in all fairness, that’s not an easy question to answer either. So, let’s go onto the next question…

Am I going to Hell?

It’s just like I said before. It’s like the parable of the rich man saying from the afterlife, “if only my brothers could see someone come back from the dead.” If you were earnest in your questions, you would find the answers, and it’s because you aren’t that you don’t. It doesn’t matter what you can and can’t “get behind”, the truth doesn’t work that way.

But, just from a worship standpoint, it doesn’t make sense. So, we’re supposed to only worship God right? We’re to only worship God, not anyone else. So, how am I supposed to reconcile worshipping 1 God, when God can be 2 other beings at any given point in time? The reason why I arrived at worshipping just 1 God and not Jesus or the Holy Spirit, is because that makes better sense. I can for sure worship 1 God as long as it’s 1 God. I mean, my soul is on the line right? And I mean, what we do now is going to dictate what happens after we die. I’d rather worship the right way so I have a better chance at going to Heaven. I am being earnest in my questions cause if I was to be a Catholic again, I would want to get to Heaven. So are you saying that if someone worshipped God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit, or all 3, that they’re going to Heaven?

If worshiping all 3 is fine, then great. But, it’s my innerstanding that there is only 1 God.

You think this question is silly, but when I was a Catholic, I took my religion pretty seriously. I wanted to get to Heaven, and part of getting to Heaven is worshipping 1 God and not idols right?

Let me put it to you this way, if your soul is “on the line” it would be for trying to be tricky and say “see, I got you, that doesn’t make sense and so you’re the one who’s going to hell for believing what doesn’t make sense.”

You honestly think that? That I’m trying to be tricky? Remember that for a while I thought I was going to Hell and that it didn’t matter what good or bad that I did, I thought “Well, I’m just going to Hell so, why does it matter if I do anything good or anything bad for that matter.” You think I honestly wanna go back to that miserable way of living? You think I desire to go back and be a Catholic after what I’ve been through? Your talking to someone who just wants to know the truth. I have told people that if the truth is accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and taking up my cross and going to Church, and receiving his body and blood, etc…etc… then I will gladly do that. But if I’m going to go back to Catholicism, which has been nothing but a traumatic experience for me, I wanna get it right this next time.

You obviously have never been in my position when I was a Catholic. To me these questions are important, cause I want to follow them by the book. I’ve fallen for too many lies, I’m done with lies, and even half-truths at this point. Either give me the full-truth, or don’t bother….

What you are is worse than your depiction of being Catholic. I don’t really believe you ever were Catholic, that’s where we are right now.

Well then if you truly don’t believe I was Catholic at one point, then maybe you’re not the one I should be asking these questions too. Which is fine, but don’t expect me to give you easy questions. These are hard hitting questions, but I just want the truth…and lemme tell you, what I found out not only makes so much more sense, but I don’t have doubts anymore, because with the amount of evidence I was shown and the exercises I did to test whether or not this person was telling me the truth or not, it seems to me that I have found the actual truth. I’m on here, cause I’m not going to lie, Catholicism from what I’ve researched is the closest thing to the truth I’m going to get religion-wise, but there’s a few hiccups here and there, and so I’m here hoping to maybe find the missing pieces. If not, it’s no big deal, but I can hope.

But, you’re not convinced, which is fine. I realize that my case was a special case and not every Catholic has these doubts. One of my Catholic friends said she never has any doubts, so it works for some people. My Mom found God through Catholicism, and it’s changed her. She still struggles a bit, but, she’s doing like 1,000 times better than she was for the greater 60+ years she’s lived on this Earth. But now she’s doing much better because of Catholicism.

But anyways, thanks for at least trying to hear me out. But, I’m a special case, and I just want the truth.

I have trust issues, that happens when I make myself too important to be fooled. I don’t think your hurdle is a lack of an answer to your questions, I think that you have been duped by the error of modernism which places the self as the point of reference for truth. The truth doesn’t ask your permission to be, the truth IS and we have it’s permission to be. The Trinity of God in Oneness of Substance is a simple truth with far reaching implications, and it isn’t threatened because you doubt it, but instead if you find your intuition to be contrary to this truth, take it as a sign that you need to work on your intuition.

Yes, you will go to hell if you die today but not because you ask questions or struggle with dogma but because you are not fulfilling your obligation to attend mass on Sunday and have not confessed your failure to do so. It is also sin to persist in error, yes, and mortal sin to do so knowingly.

This has nothing to do with modernism, but everything to do with the United States Military telling me, along with about 4,000 other people, what they are hiding from the public. Ever heard of a Q Security Clearance? It’s the highest Security Clearance one can have in the United States Military, and all of us were given evidence from a 4 Star General who has evidence of everything we were shown. And I mean, we were shown a LOT!

The truth is a lot uglier than you’ve been led to believe my friend. A lot uglier. You think our world is in a bad state now, unless you were shown what me and 4,000 other people were shown, trust me you haven’t seen nothing yet….

Don’t worry, been sharpening my intuition for a while now.

Well, before I talk about this, do you believe The Bible to be the Word of God?

Mortal sin involves full consent of the will and understanding that something is seriously wrong. We are not to judge, and saying that a person will go to hell (or heaven) is judging. The Bible says that people look at appearances, but God looks into the heart.

Well, in his defense, I know I judge too. And just because I’m not a part of any particular religion doesn’t mean I should do the same. But at the same time, I try to go by the Golden Rule (which originated from The Bible). It’s only when someone treats me bad is when I treat them bad back, because the way I interpret that is someone wants to be treated poorly, otherwise they wouldn’t have treated me poorly.

But hey, I’m open to a discussion about this. Let’s hear him out, maybe there’s something I’m missing here.

He asked me if he would go to hell today, and gave me the information I needed to give him that answer. Would you rather check a box that says “I didn’t judge anyone today” or would it be more charitable to say what is the likely truth for a soul that might be damned if he doesn’t hear it?

And besides that, aren’t you being a hypocrite, judging me for what I am saying? Or is there some loophole you have for yourself, that judging is OK when it’s to stop judging from happening?
