UFO's being handled by our U.S. government and the information given to the Catholic church?

I saw a show the other day on TV that the government has been meeting with the Catholic Church to keep them up to date on UFO’s that the government has at military bases. This upsets me that our government and the Catholic Church does not think we can handle the truth. Who are they to decide. With all of the info recently released by Trump and NASA, hang on because here they come. The little green men.

Hi Glynn, approach cautiously and with scepticism anything coming from secular media and news. Typically we hear and see all types of conspiracy theories coming from those sort news as “entertainment”. I wouldn’t take it serious, unless it’s been confirmed or collaborated by the Church. And don’t allow it to upset you, as this is most likely the motive and intention of those who publish such rubbish.

Go to https://www.war.gov/UFO/ This is the fourth release by the govt. I don’t call it rubbish.

@Glynn

Sorry, but I didn’t find anything in that link indicating that the Catholic Church had met with the government. I thought you said you seen this on TV?

Without knowing the show, what evidence was presented, if any, and who stated this and what credibility the person has, I would pay it no attention.

Kevin Randle has been studying UFOs for decades. He was one of the investigators who went to Roswell, New Mexico, and interviewed key people. He has a pretty good blog (though it has a lot of typos) called “A Different Perspective.” Randle was an Air Force intelligence officer, and he insists on evidence for people’s claims, the more evidence the better. When something is a hoax or mistake, he says so. When something is an interesting claim but with little evidence, he says so. When he hears evidence of unexplained phenomena, he says so. He probably wouldn’t waste his time on the claim you heard on TV.

His blog also discusses government secrecy, which he sees as overdone. The Robertson Panel decided without investigating any phenomena that there was nothing to UFOs and that people who reported them or studied them should be ridiculed. The Condon committee, formed to study UFOs, likewise reached its conclusions before studying anything. Both of these were a long time ago, and you can read them online.

Are there national security reasons for government secrecy about UFOs? Randle says yes. For example, the missile shutdowns at Malmstrom Air Force Base with UFOs reported above missile silos by Air Force people indicate that some unknown method or force shut the missiles down, and the civilian technical investigators couldn’t find the cause and were told to drop the study. So if there is an unknown way to shut down missiles and prevent them from being launched, that would be a matter of national security.

Operation Blue Beam. I caution Christians form believing in anything our government has to say in regards to Aliens.

Our government also was doing online meetings with Evangelical Pastors a few months ago; not just the Catholic Church.

There is a theory that the government is going to try to fake either an alien invasion or the return of Christ (though I find the latter to be less likely).

Why might our government plan something like this? Because fear is a powerful tool to manipulate and they need to convince Christians that aliens exist (because most do not believe in aliens) in order to successfully implement whatever it is they have planned (assuming there is something that they are planning).

If Operation Blue Beam is fully implemented, I will not believe an ounce of what the government and the media is selling. Hard pass.

My cousin used to work for the Pentagon. He is now a Franciscan Friar, which has nothing to do with any of this, other than your link made me think of him. He is my daughter’s Godfatehr and a really good guy. I don’t believe he left the Pentagon for any reason. After discerning, he felt God was calling him to serve Him in the Religious Life. And I’m sure that there is more joy working for the Lord than there is working for the war machine.

If aliens exist and walk among us and they can help humanity in any positive ways, my interest is piqued.

The actual underpinnings of society, which we now know to be evil and which anyone with a modicum of intelligence and free thought has suspected all along, have jaded most people. As @Cade_One said, fear, deception and lies.

It’s like the so called, “news”. I tuned that out years ago. By “news”, I’m referring to the continuous stream of fear and depravity people are fed constantly. Hearing endless stories of abhorrent and heinous things that occur halfway across the country or the world is not news in the sense that it’s beneficial information; it’s not. It’s rot. No one has to tell me or I presume most anyone on this particular forum, that evil has no limit here on Earth.

People are rightly jaded, as such. It wouldn’t surprise me at all then, if there was some fake alien scheme. The shock and awe level needs to be so high now to even have any potential impact. The Artemis II mission is a good example. Think of how quickly that faded from the news. The reality is, I don’t think many people cared about it. The Iran War, with its ping-pong back and forth, each day like a tabloid front page. Few people seem to care about it. Most people, it seems, consider anything Trump says at this point to be bloviation and a common mindset of: “Who cares?”. I would include aliens in this. It doesn’t seem like most people are on the edge of their seat to know one way or another.

You say who cares about the war in Iran? We are at war to save the U S and my grand children from an atomic bomb. Do you actually think that if Iran had the bomb that they would not use it. They are being run by some insane people that do not care about their people or anyone else in the world. Yes, bomb the crazy leaders and pray for the many citizen of Iran that only want to live life and pray for our military that they will be safe. I’m going to church Sunday for the first time in a long time to feel closer to God and pray for all our brave men and women who are laying their lives on the line. YES, I do care about the WAR.

I didn’t say that I don’t care about the war in Iran. It would be interesting to see polling on public sentiments related to the war at the present time. When the media puts out a “bombshell” news alert that Trump says the war is over! and then it’s not…and then it is…and then it’s not…and then it is…and then it’s not…and then Hormuz is open…then it’s not…then it’s open…then it’s not…but this time it actually is…then it’s not…but wait, this time…

I would be absolutely floored if most people are continually captivated by the ongoing dichotomy.

You are buying the narrative. Benjamin Netanyahu has been saying that Iran is 2 months away from having full-blown nukes since the 1990’s! :joy:

Not sure if you are aware, but now Israel is trying to merge the IDF with the United States Military into one, claiming that, then the United States Congress will no longer have to vote to send any more money to Israel! That is a terrible idea! We are already fighting Israel’s wars without a declaration of war and once the two become one, then their wars will always and pemenantly become our wars!

If you truly care about [y]our children and military men, then you will not be for this war in Iran nor any other undeclared war on anyone! Either Congress declares war or we do not send troops. Period. #DefentTheGuard.

Wow, must have stepped on a few toes…

Glynn DM me when you get the chance.

Thanks for replying. My wife and I are very interested in all of the UFO information being put on their web site recently. I thank the Department of War for putting this much information out. Have you seen the new movie HAIL MARY on prime. Very good space movie and we watched it with our grandchildren. They enjoyed it also and rated PG. I’m so glad I found this board and look forward to many discussions in the future.
