AI technology ( facial recognition, drones, robotics) is being used in countries like China and Russia for social control, to suppress dissent and entrench authoritarian governments. I am concerned that these technologies may be used in the United States to suppress our democracy. Could this be the the twilight of democracy before we embark on a brave new world?
I’ve seen some argue that the sun set on democracy (ie authentic, genuine, unadulterated and truly originating from the citizenry alone) decades ago. They also argue that what has appeared to be authentic democracy is a deceptive sham.
I have a few thoughts:
They are really trying to push fear around A.i. this week so that they can centralize control. Do not fall for this!

“Do not worry about tomorrow” (Matthew 6:34).
“Seek first His Kingdom” (verse 33).
One of the agendas of 2030 will be getting the masses to accept certain things that go against what virtually all human beings know are wrong. So be cognitive of this and don’t let mass pressure sweep you up.
How many not only injected into their blood stream an experimental messenger RNA during the fear of Covid, but also shamed others into doing the same? Even Pope Francis was pushing the pharmaceutical product.
Lastly, politicians lie to gain power and control. Federal agencies lie to protect their own. And media lies to keep you in a perpetual state of fear, so that you can more easily be manipulated.
Agenda 2030 will be implemented. It won’t matter if the Democrats are in control or Republicans are in control. Right now the Republicans have control and we have Flock-style surveillance cameras. When asked about the cameras, President Trump said, “I sort of like them, because of law enforcement. Some people don’t. They think it’s an infringement. But I like them.”
What is a “flock?,” but a collective. Socialism is a collective. We are being put into many collectives and then data is being fed to us bases on these collectives.
You mentioned a brave new world. I have never read the book, but I think we have been in a world of mass manipulation for centuries, but the manipulators are getting more brave (or bold) about how far they are willing to manipulate us. Where they used to have to rely on human beings (like the media and academia), now they can use machines and algorithms to do it programmably.
Television stations used to refer to their line-up as “programming.” Which is interesting. They were telling you what they were doing through entertainment. They were conditioning us. They are now doing the same through influencers.
Should we be fearful? No. Should we be aware and opt-out as much as we can? Certainly. Will it be difficult? Yes. Will we have to make sacrifices? Yes. Turn to the Lord and no matter how unfree society become, He can free us from the evils of this cowardly new world.
By brave new world I mean a drift toward authoritarianism not necessarily the specific society described in the Aldous Huxley novel.

The title of Huxley’s book came from Shakespeare’s play The Tempest. It wasn’t negative or ironic in that use, but it was in Huxley’s title.
There is no democracy. It is all a hoax. It makes no difference who wins the vote. It is not government by the people, for the people. It is government by the rich, for the rich. Everyone pays taxes. Land tax, sales tax, import tax, export tax…Tax, tax, tax…and what does the public receive? Free education? Free medical? The government doesn’t even take care of the veterans, or the police. They call us because they need support. The people in the government are all well-situated economically. And they laws they pass are for maintaining the status quo wherein they remain wealthy, and the people work hard, and pay taxes. What do they do with the tax revenue? They bomb Iran. They support the Israeli genicide in the Gaza Strip. Do you need that? Do Americans need that? Billions of dollars spent on horrific works. This is their idea of “making America great”. Everything cost about 30-40% more today than before Trump appeared. When I was a kid a chocolate bar cost a nickel. If it went up to a dime, that would be 100% inflation. But it’s not a dime. Today it’s a dollar. That’s 2000% inflation. This means that if I had $100 in the bank in 1965 it had the power to purchase 2000 chocolate bars. And if I left it in the bank, today it could buy 100 chocolate bars. This means that they way they are running the economy, the money that I saved has lost 95% of its value. This means that the way they run things, if I keep my money in the bank, they are reaching into my account and taking my purchasing power. This is called stealing. And you are calling it democracy, and wondering if we will be losing our democracy. The government owns the media. The media tells the people what to think. If a newspaper tells the truth, the government takes them to court. If is all propaganda. And you are afraid of losing our democracy. It is a police state. If you have an opinion, you are a “terrorist”. And you call is democracy. Since Trump has become president, the news is that he has increased his personal wealth by a few billion dollars. A billion is a thousand million. What has Trump done for you, other than to make everything you buy cost more money? Democracy…They are simply working us. It is all exploitation in the name of democracy. And people are cheering for him…and you are asking questions about democracy.
There seems to be a collapse of faith and trust in government and American institutions. This is a concerning sign about the state of the country.
