Since Zionism is just nationalism. No diffferent than German nationalism or other forms of nationalism
But the idea that Jews are chosen, is disproven by the fact that Isaac had two sons. Esau and Jacob. Esau was chosen one, but he rejected that blessing for food. So he lost that gift. So God doesnt choose people based on race, but on their faith
Christians and Jews have a deep spiritual bond between each other. To play on the wording, I don’t think it appropriate to say that Israel ARE the chosen people, but rather WERE the chosen people which the Messiah would descend according to the flesh.
Yes, Zionism is both nationalism and political, more respectively encompassing both aspects.
Real Zionism is something good: the reverence of Mount Zion as symbol for the New Jerusalem built under Virgin Mary.
Also, there’s nothing wrong with Zionism, if understood as nationalism in the State of Israel, since sane nationalism is a virtue (to care for the community in which your ancestors lived).
Yet, Jewish ZioNazis believe that the Messiah won’t come until the Jews have conquered all the biblical land of Israel (some even believe in the necessary subjugation of the whole world).
“Christian” ZioNazis believe exactly the same, that Jews have to conquer all the Holy Land, even through genocide, though it would bring not the first but the second coming of the Messiah, Jesus, after all the Christians move there: they don’t even think about how 2 billion people can fit in a land barely supporting 20 million (100 times more!). In their deranged ZioNazi theology they say that all Jews will convert to Christianity or die, since in “the rapture” Jesus ushers all Christians to heaven, leaving the rest to perish.
1. In the Old Testament, it was God commanding through the prophets, who anointed the king. Guess who commands Satan-yahu? Who anointed him?
2. The New Testament is clear: Christians are now the only People of God, not the Jews who didn’t repent of Jesus’ crucifixion and didn’t become a fulfilled Jew by accepting Jesus as Messiah and savior.
3. The New Jerusalem is spiritual, not political. There’s no prophet saying that God commands a crusade.
The Bible is crystal clear: the unconverted bio-Jews will convert as a whole at the end of times, ca. year 3000 A.D. to enable the Second Coming of Jesus.
Note: there are millions(?) of self-called Jews who aren’t even biological descent of Jacob/Israel. Ask the Orthodox about that!
“Israel should be first. God’s chosen land and people. Words straight from the Holy Bible.”2
21 Feb 2026. Tucker Carlson said that according to the Bible, the descendants of Abraham would receive land that today would include essentially the entire Middle East, and asked if Israel had a right to that land. Huckabee, US ambassador to Israel, responded: “It would be fine if they took it all.” 3
They can’t allow Israel to be razed by nearby countries, but that’s exactly what IDF terrorism is provoking in all Israel’s neighbors!
14 For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own people the same things those churches suffered from the Jews
15 who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to everyone.
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me” (John 14:6); and what St. Peter, our first Pope, preached to Jewish leaders in Jerusalem, that “there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
As St. Paul—himself “an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin” (Rom. 11:1)—taught us: “If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise” (Gal. 3:29). Thus Vatican II’s teaching in Nostra Aetate itself that “the Church is the new people of God,” and in Lumen Gentium, that it is the “new Israel.”
“Christians are not Dispensationalist. We do not believe in a dual (or bi-Covenantalism) nor do we believe in Replacement Theology. The Church is the New Israel, but we do not believe that she replaced the Old Covenant, but is the fruition of the Old Covenant.
There was one continuous shoot and some chose to break themselves off from it and others were grafted on. Got did not establish multiple shoots, nor do we believe that God honors both those who broke themselves off and those who remain(ed) faithful.
We will not be judged by our loyalty to the modern State of Israel, but by our loyalty to Jesus Christ.” 1
Why Catholics reject ZioNazism?
Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI asserted, “a Jewish religious state that wanted to be considered the political and religious fulfillment of the promises [of God]—is historically unthinkable according to the Christian faith and would be contrary to the Christian understanding of the promises.”2
WWII revision:
2025 Gaza genocide
In April 2024 Tucker Carlson interviewed a Christian evangelical pastor in the holy city of Bethlehem, who described the severe oppression that he and his flock regularly faced at the hands of Zionist militants, fiercely anti-Christian groups that have bizarrely received the complete support of America’s own Christian establishment.” 3
2024. Tucker Carlson interviewed Jeffrey Sachs to explain the Neocon origins of the Ukraine war. 4
2024. Rep. Thomas Massie explained the stranglehold that the Israel Lobby exerted over Congress, even revealing that every Republican was assigned a personal AIPAC handler to direct his votes on all matters related to the Zionist State .5
Catholic Christians do not believe in Zionism as many Evangelicals do. Jesus is the Jewish Messiah, the Vine, which most modern Jews reject. He is not a replacement of the Old Covenant, but rather the continuation and fulfillment of the one shoot established by God.
Catholic Christians do not believe in:
Replacement Theology
Dual Covenentalism (sometimes referred to as Bi- Covenantalism).
I spent about a month studying this topic a while back, as it is a relevant topic (politically speaking).
I am from the Church of Norway which is a Evangelical Lutheran branch. But overall, i think aslong as one follows the bible. Can figure out the theological truth set up by it. Then its all good!
However, it does take times to completely get the whole picture i think
I’m born in a Jewish family. And have lived in a Jewish community. I cannot speak for every Jew, but in my experience with family, and with Jews who have businesses…they are exceptionally proud of being Jews. They feel that they are most intelligent people on the planet, and that every non-jew is a lesser person. They have derogatory names for every person who is not Jewish, white people, black people, etc. They don’t mind if their son has sex with a non-jew, but thought of thier son marrying a non-jew …they consider that to be a catastrophy.
In Hitler’s time, the Jews went through hell. I can admit that. I have seen the videos of the concentration camps, etc. But they did not learn anything by going through the “haulocost”. Today, they are doing their own holocaust against the Palestinean people, total geneocide on the Gaza Strip. None of the other countries are doing anything to interfere. I guess they won’t unless they feel seriously threatened themselves. I wonder if the Pope has made any statements against Isreal’s genocide activity. The U.S. has been supplying Isreal with billions of dollars of weapons. I heard one speech made by the man in chage of the military. I think he is Catholic. He said that the U.S. military action against Iran is a holy war. They are doing it for Jesus. Everyone is taking care of themselves, and looking the other way. Whereas if a man as influential as the Pope told Catholics all over the world to take action to stop this genocide of Isreal against the Palestineans who have lived there for centuries, before the Jewish people came to live there after 1944…may be something could be different.
I am really sorry to be speaking like this. But this Zionism thing is a disease on planet earth.
I also think the Holocaust is one sided aswell, in the sense of other factors such as Havaara agreement is never mentioned interms of WW2. Or the Stern gang . (We might hear about origin of Zionism… but its so vague often). But 6 million Jews dying is of course terrible and evil that it happend, and should be addressed as such. But i feel WW2 was more a case of failure of humanity.
But i sorta see racism as opportunism (Psychologically speaking). But if one can find a way to leave at 50/50. And let people argue, and figure out the truth to get along basically. Out of Love, then i think its the best solution, or the act of serving, rather than to be served. Would atleast be the Christian ethos. I think the only case Christianity can be used for evil. Is when it gets used as a political tool, rather than as an act of self reform. Going by Galatians 5:13-26.
Hi Don! I don’t quite have the words…but you seem to be able to see things from many angles of vision…so many different ways to see things. I appreciate your different perspectives. Thanks. Peter
