Pervęrsion + Immoral Choices Do not Care about Your Political/Religious Affiliation

I will try to keep this as PG as possible. Please take care while reading.

I looked up the breakdown of those on the Registered Offender List by their Party Affiliation:

Currently as of 2025:

Democrat: 40.5%
Republican: 33.2%
Unaffiiliated/Other: 26.3%

I could not find any data based on Religious Affiliation, as this is not public knowledge. I can only go off of antidotal, which is not evidential:

“Ben The Baptist”: Baptist Minister in the Town where I work exposęd himself to the High School Girls’ Track Team. He was charged with public indecency, a third-degree misdemeanor.
“Fr. Zacharias”: A former Priest in our diocese was caught providing drugs to young men (in their 20’s, but were groomed by him when they were younger students) in exchange for sęxual favors. He was sentenced to life in prison and ordered to serve 5 years of supervised release, pay a $500 special assessment and pay $25,000 to his victims. I had attended Masses that this Priest presided over and I always thought there was something off about him. He had a weir twitch and one eye would blink funny. Kind of how I knew something was off about “Jared from Subway” before his dark deeds came to light.
“Pastor Anthony” & “Deacon Ken” (People’s Missionary Baptist Church) trafficked under-aged girls and their Wives knew about it. Pastor Anthony was sentenced to life in prison and Deacon Ken was sentenced to 17 years.

Then there are the non-Religious:

“Coach John” offered six female students money for you know what and he was sentenced to 180 days in jail and is now has to Register. It was a plea agreement. He should have gotten more time in my opinion.
“Mr. Alex” was infatuated with one of his students, one day sending over 250 message to the student during school hours! Nothing explicıt from what I could tell, but definitely talked about a future together. Fired, but no charged brought.
“Mr. Elliot” set up a hidden camera in his Kindergarten bathroom! He was convicted of 181 charges and was sentenced to 56 years in prison.
“Mr. Alan” was let go after he was charged with having an inappropriate relationship with a mınor.
“Coach Johnny” admitted to having inappropriate relations with a student at a local motel. They believe there were other girls, but it was discovered after one mother called the Sheriff’s office and reported an incident.

And it isn’t just males:

“Coach Kathryn” had an inappropriate relationship with one of the girls who played for her Soccer team. Additional charges were added when photos were discovered on her phone. I believe this was while she was serving time for the original charges, but these new charges were later dropped.
“Miss Beck” was fired after sending inappropriate images and messages with students.

So, what is the answer? I believe these individuals know where the line is. I think some have very low impulse control. Others are ego-driven. Some are sick in the head and have cultivated fantasies and delusions.

When we were kids and would go out to ride our bikes around the neighborhood, my Grandma would say, “Stay away from “Chester the Molester’s” house!” Back then, seemed everyone pretty much knew where offenders lived (without a list), but people didn’t move as often as people do today either.

I have a co-worker who’s son was cat-fished by a decoy. Her son is clearly on the spectrum and was in his early twenties. He was chatting with “a girl” who said she was 15. She kept begging him to come meet her, but he told her he needed to get some food and that he didn’t want to leave the house. She persisted and eventually he agreed. It was the worst decision of his life. When he got there, he was arrested and charged with Importuning. He hired a terrible lawyer and had to Register on the offender list for 10 years. He now has isolated himself to his Mom’s basement and has lost all hope of a life of being labeled a “predictor.” He can’t get a job. His friends have all abandoned him. He orders food delivered, wracking up credit card debt. It is not a healthy situation. I believe that he has learned his lesson. I am not convinced that he would make this same mistake again. It is really said actually. It is as if there can be no reconciliation. I understand the importance of the list, but I also think it is unfair in some situations, where no crime has actually taken place, other than a young man in his early twenties being enticed to say inappropriate things to someone he believed to be 15. But, what if it hadn’t been a decoy and was really a 15 year old? What if I had thoughts of robbing a bank. What if I talked about robbing a bank. What if I went into what I though was a bank after someone talked me into it and it turned out not to be a bank at all? Have I committed a crime? Should this wreck the rest of my life? Should I be labeled a criminal? Maybe put on a list for banks to watch out for? Debatable.

My third Cousin was about to graduate form Law School to be a lawyer and something in his brain thought it would be a good idea to follow a girl into the shower. This was both pervęrted and an immoral choice! He was was put on the list for five years, but even after the five years was served he still remained on third-party activist websites by those who mean well and have made it their mission to protect others. He was able to get a job working for the company his Dad is well-respected at, but this is now his life. He spends time mostly with his family and girlfriend (maybe Wife). I do believe he attends Mass with his Mom, which is great! I have not talked to him in a while, because of my generation, I am about the only one who attends the Family Reunions. Perhaps I should reach out personally to each of my Cousins and invite them (getting way off topic, so I will end here). But, I would love to hear your thoughts on this topic.

This is the world we live in. Those are just the one’s who got caught. Some wear the garb of priests; others don’t. We are all just spirit souls, living in these material bodies. There is hard wear and software. The body is the hardware. The mind with its thought and emotions is our software. But we are neither. We are pure spirit. But we are under the influence of this mind and body, thinking that to satisfy the mind and body we will be satisfied. We wanted to be independent from loving service to God. Therefore He has placed us here. And our desire for independence takes the form of slavery to the dictates of body and mind. The only way to freedom is a living relationship with Christ. He says, “take upon yourself the yoke that I bear.” He is teaching us by his example. the dictates of body and mind cannot touch one who has truly taken shelter of Jesus. We have no choice. We are either servant of God, or servant of the flesh. What the men and women in your narrative have done…this can happen to us at any moment. The only protection is to have a living relationship of loving reciprocation with Jesus. Then we can begin to understand that we, like Jesus, are in this world, but not of this world.

Add Voice of Reason Alex to this list (allegedly). I’ve never been a fan of him, but this is disappointing.

That’s small potatoes compared to the American Cardinals who gleefully ushered in tens of millions of illegal alien criminals into our country under the guise of being helpful “charities”. What a load of you know what

And also the same American Cardinals are still rather oblivious about the 250,000+ CHILDREN that went missing under Joe Bidens regime. Yeah the cardinals were all instrumental in the invasion which includes sex trafficking and millions of criminals causing havoc and destruction

But our nice cardinals are so proud of the way they got away with these treasonous acts. They pat themselves on the backs and profess how great they are. When they were really just a bunch of cowards and weaklings that didn’t stand up against such obvious evil.

There was an Eastern Orthodox Priest caught in an Ohio sting operation last week or two ago.

I will say it again, pervęrsion and immoral choices do not care about your political nor your religious affiliation. Lord, continue ridding your church of bad Priests.

I know I already said this, but I’ll say it again, for a religion that claims to be the true religion of Jesus Christ, people are going to hold you to a higher moral standard. We really need to clean house with these Priests and really any member of the Church Hierarchy. And then Catholics get all bent out of shape when someone leaves the Church. It’s getting so bad that at this point, I wouldn’t be lenient on these people. These people have had plenty of chances to make amends, now is not the time to be lax anymore. Kick out the bad members of the Church Hierarchy and replace them with good moral people. I get that not everyone can be perfect, but again, this is a religion. This is a religion that is trying to lead people to Heaven, and having corrupt people in power in this religion is wrong and needs to be taken care of.

I agree :100: percent.

Yes, because you are member of Christ’s body too. And chopping off an arm or leg that is good, does not make the body better. Christ is the head of the church, His body. He is the vine, we are the branches. If we cut ourselves (good fruit) off from the vine, it does not make this fruit stronger, it withers and dies. But, keeping the bad fruit is not good either. It can spread disease, which is why the Church (as in Apostolic Church) must clean house by the authority and responsibility she has been given by Jesus.

Absolutely, through the proper channels. We’re not talking about committing violence here. I just want to make this clear. There are crazy people in this world who might think that violence is the answer.

The new generation of Priests are (for the most part) good men. I continue to Pray for them and those who will follow. Being a Priest is not easy today. There is a stigma that Priests are out to molest your children. And you’re right, stereotypes are often based on some truth or the actions of some who are of a particular group or another. The key is not playing into the stereotype. The key is to break the cycle.

How do we do this? Some say let Priests get Married. But, we see Married Pastors doing scandalous things all the time (as I have illustrated above). Others say, hold bad Priests accountable. Stop protecting these men who do evil. That’s a start. And in recent years Dioceses are doing this. One of my former Priests is sitting in jail right now. And I Pray that he repents for what he has done, but I don’t ever want him to be a shepherd of a flock ever again! And I Pray for the men he used as well. It sounds like they were into drugs and I hope they get the help they need and that they find “The Way, The Truth, and The Life.” Because, they are loved by God and He wants to change their lives for the better. But, it will be hard for them to trust any Priest again, after what that bad Priest did.

Women who have been abused by men, often have a hard time trusting men in general (even good men). I think this is something built into the human way of surviving.

It is believed that Truck Drivers are a bunch of serial killers. That they pick up prostitutes, murder them, and discard their bodies along a stretch of Highway. It is true that many missing persons who hitchhike or “work” at truck-stops are victims of truck-drivers, but this does not mean that most truck drivers are evil, nor does it mean that truck driving is therefore bad.

Yes, one bad Priest is too many, but it does not make Christianity bad. Does this make sense? But, I also get why many do not trust them, based on what some bad Priests have done. I’m not going to hitch-hike along a Highway, because there is a possibility of getting murdered and dumped. But, the reality is, that I have a possibility of being murdered by anyone, anywhere. And maybe even more so somewhere else. We need to be aware that there is evil in this fallen world. Even in good places. Highways are not bad. Churches are really good places. But, bad individuals do bad in good places.
