I mean they will turn this around and say, it has always existed. Which is true. But that would be like saying the Opium wars are the blame on Chinese. And not the one distributing it?

Its just legit dishonest and manipulative way to make fun of people who fall victim to it. Rather than solving the problem. Or atleast its what i notice when trying to debate with liberals. HAH those FOOLS who use it! Is sorta their attitude around it.

Even if its obvious that Christians dont endorse porn in society at all. Or that type of stuff to exist.

And when i mean “The blame” game. I mean they are arguing heavily for “Free love” ideology. Which basically means you can go hanky panky with anyone. Without any rules, or decency basically

I’m going to say the same thing that I say about drugs. Some blame Mexico for bringing drugs into the United States, but if there was not a market for the drugs then this would not be the case. The cartels would go somewhere else where there is a market for it.

Some blame “The Jews” for pơrnography, because the two largest websites are owned by Jewish men (though something tells me that they do not practice the Jewish Faith), but the reality is that if there was not market for it, then there would be less of it. And you can convince yourself that you are not “buying” the content, but getting it for free, you would be wrong. You are paying for it in other ways.

And to think that Christians are not consuming this junk, the data does not show this. Christians are indeed partaking in this heathenism of exploitation by viewing the content. So it is not just the Progressives who are creating the market, but so-called Conservatives too.

That’s my understanding as well. I recall reading something awhile back where some Christian men subscribe to sites where women sell video content of themselves and the men say they’re doing that in the interest of trying to save or convert the women. :rofl: Yeah, right.

That’s like when Dads Against Predictors catch guys trying to pick up underage boys and girls and they say that they were just meeting them to tell them to stay off of dating sights, because there are guys with ill intentions, when these men themselves are meeting these kids with ill intentions. And D.A.P. has their chats to prove that they were grooming what they thought was an underage child!

D.A.P. used to work with their local Police, but then the Police ended their relationship with them, so they now just beat the crap out of these men (some of whom are clearly on the spectrum, but still a threat to children none the less)!

A friend of mine who is a Protestant minister (Jim Watkins) said that large numbers of Christian men and quite a few women too have a porn habit. I can’t remember the numbers he told me, but they were shocking, and he assured me that they were accurate.

In the scripture called “Bhagavad-gita” (with commentary by A.C. Bhaktivedanta), there is one verse which states that the activities of the people in general are a reflection of the values of the leaders. In otherwords, the reason our lives are inundated with scams is because the government leaders are corrupt. The man in the street feels, “That’s what it take to be rich. I’ll get a piece of the action.” Just like the “Epstein files”. Why do you think they have not been made public? Because the people who run the country …all their names are in those files. When the public feels loved and protected, they only wish to contribut something to society in a good way. And when they feel uncared for, cheated, and lied to, they become uncaring liers and cheaters. The porn industry is an outward reflection of the hearts of the people who run the country.

The conclusion therefore, is, that unless the government leaders are being instructed and guided by religious leaders, these things will exist in society. Government leaders are executives. This means that they implement the law. But they are not subject to the law. If they were, so many of them would be imprisoned today. Democracy is a hoax, a scam. It really doesn’t make much difference who wins an election. They all facilitate the wealthy and maintain the staus-quo. Socialism and communisim are dirty words in America. But these words wouldn’t even exist if the goverment was actually, “for the people”. It’s not. It’s for the wealthy, to facilitate the wealthy, to enhance the wealthy. Education. Health services. Non-existent…unless one has money. They rest can go to hell. The wealthiest country in the word, with the greatest military organization and weapons in the world…with no health care, no education…unless one has money. Tax breaks …for the rich. The man in the streets pays taxes, supporting a system, that simply exploits him, giving nothing in return. If the government wanted to, all scammers, that inundate us, on our computers, on our phones…they could all be eliminated almost overnight…with punishments that would make one afraid to imagine being a scammer. But the government people are too busy bombing Iran, or supporting the Isreali genocide against the Palestinians. And the public, the man in the street…he votes for these leaders… rascals and thieves.

I would say that the problem that has plagued humanity for millennia is “rascals and thieves” gravitate towards wealth and power. I’m hard-pressed to think of any organization of any large size that hasn’t been or likely isn’t corrupted. As such, I would say this is an inherent characteristic fundamental to the human condition, as it is. Religion and religious leaders are not exempt from falling into corruption.

Many High Priests in the Old Testament were corrupted by luxury, wealth and power. You make very salient points. However, history and human nature teach us, beware of placing any human on an incorruptible level.

You are correct, Pax. This is why Jesus informs us that he is in this world, with the rest of us, but he is not of this world, not from this world. To think that God has only one son is an invention of the “corruptible” that you speak of. Scripture speaks of “the heavenly host”. As the creative power of God is infinite, His sons are infinite. But He sends them one at a time. Sometimes a few work together, or act as parents, like Joseph and Mary. Or John, who has the eyes to recognize Jesus before he begins to teach.
Yes, we are all corruptible…because we are blind followers. We have not tasted “the truth” that sets one free. And what is that freedom? It is to understand, by direct perception, that we, like Jesus, also are in this world, but not of this world.
The spiritual realm is the realm of reality in which there is no birth, and no death. The souls of this world are the envious, who want the position of God. That is the temptation. We are placed here for one purpose: reformation. We are all “prodigal sons” looking for our fulfillment in the empty, false promises of the material dimension…in the dimension where whatever we have, whtever we acquire …is not enough. Why? Because we are eternal spirits, looking for fulfillment in the realm of dead matter that cannot love us back. The billionaire always hankers for another billion. Spirit can only be fulfilled in having a relationship with the Supreme Spirit. But the churches encourage us to approach God for supplying us with temporal externals like health, wealth, family and friends, social status and the like, that cannot endure. Jesus says that the man with money cannot know God anymore than a camel can be moved through the eye of a needle. Jesus says that the purpose of life is to love God with all of our heart…but we ask Him for the toys of the material realm.
We all have the same disease. The eternal spirit that identifies with the temporary material body as “me”, becomes the servant of the demands of the senses. This is the second master Jesus speaks of when he says that a man cannot have two masters. It’s one or the other. But how to be free? Jesus explains that when love of God overflows within the heart, there is no room for material desire. Spiritual life is not about being austere; it is about knowing God. This is why the saints of all traditions have no desire for the things of this world. But how to “know” God? God reveals Himself to those who love Him. This is His only request. He doesn’t need our love. But He understands that we cannot be happy any other way. As infinitesimal creations of God, as infinitesimal spirit souls, we are as leaves on the tree of life. Part and parcel. One leaf trys in vain to water himself. Another tries to water the other leaves. But if there is one leaf on the tree that pours water on the root, all the leaves are satisfied. Therefore Jesus invites us to accept the yoke that he wears. The ox in service is controlled by the master by the reins that pass through the yoke. Jesus says, “Accept my yoke”. He is controlled by the yoke of love. One who has love of God in his heart, is liberated from material desires without separate endeavor. Mammon holds no attraction for him. He says, “Not my will, but whatever is pleasing to You, my Lord, this is all that I desire.” He is watering the root. The root, is the truth that sets us free.
Yes, religious leaders are not exempt from corruption. We are born corrupt, with the desire to to enjoy apart, to ejoy independent of the pleasure of God. We want to water ourselves. Therefore God has placed us here in this world as a place of redemption. But whether a man is in the church, or in the brothel, we, all of us, are here in therapy. Because we are not perfect, when we enter the church, and wear the garb of the priest, we bring our imperfect desires with us. And if we acquire position and power, that is the intoxication that feeds our desire to be like God, to be someone special, someone who is respected, honored, adored. Better an honest man sweeping the street, thinking “All steets are the steets of God, and I am His humble servant.”
But we cannot reject God’s message or see it as empty because of the weakness of the men of this world, or because of the deeds of the men of this world. As is said in the scripture,

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that achieve the real goal.”

“Few there be that achieve the real goal.” The invitation is open to all of us. It’s just that hard core prisoners try to fashion for themselves a nice arrangment within the prison; whereas the heart of the intelligent prisoner aspires for the life of freedom outside of the prison walls. Most of us are hard core…trying to make prison life work for us in a nice way. And the chains of the prison, is the desires of the mind, and the desires of the senses. And the key to unlock those chains, is the oncremental cultivation of heartfelt feelings of love for the Lord. Not simply to be an official member of this church or that. That is a beginning of course. But,“few there be that achieve the real goal.” This is to be expected. We’re busy building the tower of Babel.

I confess that I have not achieved the goal. But I speak about these things, because it keeps the little flame in my heart alive. And if I find another soul that also wants to contemplate these things…it gives me more strength of aspiration. “Where two or more are gathered in my name…”

This is the fact. The Vedic scriptures explain that the material realm is like the penitentiary, or insane asylum of the spiritual world. The Bible explains this same concept in terms of the allegory of Adam and Eve, succumbing to the temptation of enjoying a taste that is outside of what God has prescribed for our enjoyment, viz. the demeanor of seeking enjoyment outside of enjoying the desire to be a source of pleasure to God. The concept is that we are here in therapy, laboring and earning “by the sweat of the brow”, and messengers like Jesus come to advise us to accept the yoke that he bears, which is unconditional, unalloyed love for God, asking for nothing in return, other than the ability to abide in this demeanor of the heart. The realization to be had by one who wholeheartedly takes up this orientation is expressed in the 23rd Psalm of David with the words, “My cup runneth over.” The happiness of loving God is so great that one cannot contain it. This is the message of Jesus as well.
Regarding the people of the world, there is no question of a human being who is incorruptible …simply because everyone here is already corrupted. The church refers to this as “original sin.”
Jesus explains that the therapeutic process of reawakening our dormant love of God, is an apprenticeship program, in which the student imbibes the heartfelt taste of love of God the Father as an understudy in the association with God’s representative whose every thought, word, and deed is staurated with this love.
This is exactly what Jesus means when he says, “There is no way to the Father but through me.”

Although we have been deported, or exiled, from the “Garden of Eden” due to our rebellious spirit, God sends His intimate associate to take the role of a teacher who shares his love of the Father with us. If we have suffered enough, “All those who are heavy burdened…”, we can aspire to receive the yoke of love that God’s messenger has come to share with us. This means that the student never walks alone, but like an apprentice, cultivates devotion to God, under the guidance of God’s son, or messenger. Only such a being is incorruptible. Only such a being has the potency to share with us the gift of love of the Father. Everyone else is an inmate.
As Jesus says, “Strait is the gate, and narrow the way…and very few will enter therein.” However, we see that the concensus seems to be that simply by receiving a baptism, and becoming a “member”, one’s salvation is a done deal. Whereas it is in fact the first step in a journey in which every step is taken in intimate apprenticeship with the one who has come only for sharing his love of God with us. No one but God’s intimate associate has the potency to reawaken love of God within our hearts. The teacher must be potent to place the seed of love of God within our hearts…and the student must want that seed with all of his heart. Then the transmission can take place. This is the process.
