Please pray for my Mother Superior, her name is Marika, she has a lot of bad health ailments; she is profoundly deaf, has extreme allergies, is a wheelchair user, and has bad lung problems. Please pray for her hearing dog Angus, who is nearing the end of his life and must be superceded by another hearing dog. Please pray for her miraculous healing, relief, and finances.
Please pray for me, I need a monumental miracle.
Please pray for my friend Varis and his family, who are being afflicted by powerful enemies who pay people to lie about them and cast aspersions on them to ruin their life. They need a miraculous deliverance, they are extremely stressed out because of it all. I’ve never seen an affliction this bad in my life. This is only something God can fix because their enemies are just too powerful. They want Varis dead. He can’t even get out of his house right now because of all the lies and slander. His reputation is ruined. He is so lonely and mentally unwell because of it all, and so are his family.
I was so impressed by your post and could not stop thinking about how the people you are asking for prayers are having some of the same problem as my family. My wife had lung surgery in January and recently fell suffering a concussion. She is having so many problems with this and we are trying to get a Doctor that specializes in this type of head injury. We did get an appointment for the middle of October. Its very hard getting doctors that handle these problems. Her name is Marsha 78, born and raised in New Orleans as a Catholic, met her in college and have been married 58 years. I was from a hardshell Baptist family and became Catholic about 15 years ago. I am having problems with my lung as doctor locating a spot and I’m waiting for his office to call and make an appointment. I worked at Kaiser Al which had a lot of asbestos and very worried about out come of this. We have a son 50 who is a K-9 officer and has a great dog named Daisy, who is one of the best dogs in South Louisiana for locating bodies under water. His dog comes from Holland and only responds to commands in Dutch and cost his police dept $10,000. He has 3 children, 8,10, and 16 all of who attend Catholic school here in New Orleans. While I’m praying for your people please say prayers for us also.
When I came into the Catholic Church, my RCIA teacher wanted me to pick a Saint to help me. I chose Saint Therese the little flower as she being a warrior similar to Joan of Arc. She has been by my side ever since and I just finished a Novena to her and plan on starting another one soon for my wife and will include your people in my intentions. I have roses planted all over my yard and I know Saint Therese sees and appreciates what I do for her. If you can get your hands on a copy of THE STORY OF A SOUL, book it is a wonderful read. Saint Therese had lung problems which caused her death, but as a warrior, she was seen on the battle fields in WW1 protecting soldiers. She is such a wonderful Saint and I lean on her, so ask her to help you in your prayers for the people you are worried about and I will ask her also. I will pray for you and ask Mother Superior and her people to pray for you as well. Actually, my Mother Superior dear has been urging me to read the story of a soul, but I never even started reading it. Maybe I really should read it, this can’t be a coincedence. Mother Superior’s saint of confirmation is St. Bernadette Soubirous, she also died of lung issues. St. Therese is one of our patron saints with her, I am not baptized yet, but my saint of confirmation will very likely be St. Bernadette Soubirous, because she visited me physically from heaven.
That is so assume to hear about your Mother Superior recommending you read THE STORY OF A SOUL. If you stop and think just how many Saint there is and for us to find each other is mind boggling. This is more than a coincidence but Devine intervention. It simply runs chills up me.
I had been trying to get an appointment with a pulmonary doctor for weeks, as I had been coughing up blood. I worked at Kaiser Al which had lots of asbestos and I am really worried about the out come of this. Well last night I spoke to Saint Therese and ask her to help get an appointment and this morning I got a call from a Pulmonary doctors office, and I have an appointment for tomorrow. I could not believe how fast Saint Therese worked. I told my wife and she cried. She knows how much I depend on her. I just planted a rose bush in the yard near my statue of her and she has really come through for me. I am going to say a Novena to her for my wife who has a concussion from a fall and also has lung problems and was operated on in January of this year for her lungs. I will pray for your Mother Superior and others that you have ask for prayers. I will include them in my Novena and pray as well as for you to be strong in your life. Sister, are you sitting down. When I saw on your Mother Superior’s face book that you all was from England I could not believe the connection. Back in the 1980’s I was Scout Master of a boy scout Troop sponsored by Saint Louis King of France Catholic Church. My son, now 52, was a scout in that troop and the church said they got a message from a connection in England that they had some scouts that would come of to the United States for fellowship with scouts over here, and was looking for families that would take them in for the summer. We excepted one young man named Daniel but can’t remember his last name. He lived in our home for the summer and it was so rewarding. He was from Northern England, but can’t name the exact location. My son and I had so much fun showing him around New Orleans, Louisiana and both Dainel and my family felt so lucy to share our home with him. He really enjoyed our seafood in the area as we are near the Gulf of Mexico. So sorry we were not ever to keep in touch with him and often think of him. When I saw where you all are located on your Mother Superior’s face book, it brought back many memories of him and our fellowship with him that many years ago we enjoyed.

I will be starting my Saint Therese Novena this coming week and have her and my wife, who is having lung problems and severe problems from results a fall when she received a concussion. So glad to hear from you. Thank Mother Superior so much as my wife is not doing real well and told me she does not think she can make Mass today. Thats alright as I have been looking forward to it. I’m so lucky that the church is on about 5 minutes from our house as we are having thunder storms today. The name is St. Charles Borromeo and this is where our grand-sons go to school.

I remembered where the boy that stayed with us that summer was from Lanchirie. I know I killed the spelling. He was from northern England and would be a man now as he was 16 back in the 1980’s. Mass went good but the church is hurting for more people to attend. The church was only half full. This is the result of the sexual abuse of over 300 altar boys here in this diocese over a period of time. The Catholic Church has finally admitted the problem and has not try and cover it up by transfering priest to another church. In Gods Hand. Glynn

Today I prayed a memorare chaplet, a flame of love rosary, a hopeful mysteries rosary for you, I have yet to pray one more rosary, chaplet of our lady undoer of knots, and litany and prayer of our lady undoer of knots. Pray tell, if there be any specific prayers or chaplets/rosaries recited for you. Mother Superior recites hundreds of flame of love hail maries daily. She never stops saying it!
Hello sisternightinggale, I have something profound to tell you. Back in 2005 we had a terrible hurricane Katrina, City of New Orleans flooded killing 1800 people, some of the people that we knew. We lost our house and everything in it and moved 40 miles north of the city on 12 acre of land. We built a large log home and put 15 goats and on it and a donkey, which protect the goats on the pasture. I attended Southeastern Louisiana, gradated with a BA, and went to work for a large meat company traveling throughout the southern United States selling trailer loads of meat to warehouses that supplied many stores. Marsha did not like me being gone from home, so I came home and got a job with Kaiser Al as a Foreman. This was extremely hot and had lots of asbestos but paid extremely good. This is where I got problems with my lungs. We looked around for a Catholic Church to attend and found one close by. It happened to be a Catholic Seminary where about 40 young men was being schooled to become priest . Their was about 20 monks who taught them. This was a beautiful 1500 acre location with a creek running through it, given to them by a wonderful man. The church was so beautiful and was so great to attend.as the monks would sing the litany to the Saints. each Sunday. So moving. Well at one service I saw Saint Therese walked down the isle, She looked at me and smiled and it was so moving. I knew then I was going to be a follower oh her. That reminded me of you talking of your experience with your Saint. I know it was so moving as was mine. We finally move back to New Orleans about 10 years to be near our Grandchildren.
I spoke of Saint Therese being a little solider, in The STORY OF A SOUL, there was a section explaining where her spirit was seen on the battlefield during the World War 1, helping wounded soldiers’ and absorbing bullets that was being fired at them protecting them. This is why I call her the little soldier. You will read about it when you read THE STORY OF A SOUL. She is so wonderful, and this is why I go on and on about her. She recently visited me telling me every time I see a rose, it means she has answered a prayer. This is why I have roses planted in our yard. I have seen roses in other places and I had my prayers answered many times. This is why I’m saying a Novena to Saint Therese starting this week, as I think it will be helpful for your people and my people to achieve peace. She will ask our Lord to be with them and I hope your all will feel his and her power.
I know I went on and on but felt like I needed to explain why we have such a connection. We have many things in common and look forward to our conversations. I am so heartened to hear from you, everytime I receive a new message from you, it feels like a flock of birds taking flight within me. Thank you for your devotion to St. Therese, even I from all the way over here feel the profound reverberation of the strong connection you have with her. She has claimed you as her own, I don’t know what can be more honorable unto a soul than a Saint claiming you as their own. Just got home and had received a message from my doctor that my CT scan shows signs of possible lung cancer from the asbestos I breath in at Kaiser Al. He will schedule a MRI soon to chech this. I definitely need some prayers. I will let you know after my next visit. what the doctor says. He seems to be a good doctor. The doctor I had been seeing for this for the past 10 years, I found out he has moved to Naples, Florida, but I trust my new doctor. I was so surprised when he walked in to talk to me, as he is about 6 foot 8 tall. He is almost up in the clouds. Well I do thank you all for the prayers for me and Marsha. but with God and Saint Therese’s help we will make through this rough spot in the road. May God be with you. Glynn
