SERAKAN: You know…it is possible to disagree with certain things but still learn about the things you disagree with. There’s a lot I disagree with in regards to Catholicism, but I do want to learn more about it, cause maybe there’s a deeper truth I have yet to grasp. I’m not perfect, and really, I know nothing. So I spend my days learning about all sorts of different philosophies, and beliefs. Because again, coincidence and luck don’t exist. Everything exists for a reason.
PETER: I agree, Serakan. There’s no such thing as luck, good or bad. Not a blade of grass moves, except by the will of God. And individuals are guided from within their hearts to teachers that they are ready and able to hear from. Even when Jesus was teaching, he used to say, “Those who have ears, let them hear.” , because not everyone is ready. Material suffering is the medicine for souls in the material realm. It breaks down false pride, and a sense of total self-sufficiency. Humility before God is one of the keys that opens the door to a living sense of relationship with the Absolute.
SERAKAN: Don’t get me wrong, I hate the way everything is set up here in this 3rd Dimension. I think there are better ways to learn certain lessons, but when this Dimension was being created, it was created with the idea being that everything around you is a tool essentially, and you can use these tools to better figure out things.
PETER: The material scientist subscribes to the cultivation of “empiricism”. This philosophy was introduced in Europe in the 1800’s. It is Godless. The empiricist believes that we can understand the truth by observing and analyzing everything with the use of the material senses and the mind. But even if one does this for millions of years, one will still not understand God or our relationship with God. Because God only reveals Himself in response to our love for Him. The empiricist also tends to believe that man can conquer nature. But the process of birth, old age, disease and death remains. The material realm, and the laws of material nature are also God’s laws. The anomalies of material life are present as much as the global community violates God’s laws. Basic morality is a good starting point. But more and more, people are considering themselves “free” of what they consider to be “old fashioned superstitions”. They think they can sleep with anyone they like, take intoxications, engage in gambling activities, and kill animals for the pleasure of their sense of taste. And nature’s feedback, (God’s nature) provides tidal waves, volcanoes, earthquakes, forest fires, floods, draughts, and plagues. These phenomena are God’s wake-up calls. In one sense, everything is, as you say, “a tool”. But the real use of a tool, is to use it in the service of the real owner of the tool. Even our senses are God’s senses, as he has provided them to us. The real use of our senses is to use them in the service of the real Owner of the senses. But the materialist believes that the goal of life is sensual gratification. This is misappropriation of what belongs to God.
SERAKAN: I can know why something exists yet disagree with it, and believe me, especially on this Earth, there’s a lot of things I disagree on, but the truth of the matter is, it has to be this way. The 3rd Dimension has to be about learning, otherwise you won’t be able to enter into the higher dimensions.
PETER: According to the ancient Vedic literature’s, written in the Sanskrit language, we are here on earth because we are souls who are rebellious against the supremacy of God. The concept of the Garden of Eden, which is presented at the beginning of the Bible, is parallel to this concept. According to the Vedic literature the so-called Garden of Eden will not be found by archaeologists, because it doesn’t exist within the material creation. That “Garden” is the spirit world, the spiritual dimension, which is our eternal home. But because all of us have eternal free will, there are a minority of souls that succumb to the temptation of wanting to be # One, wanting to be the center of everyone’s love, everyone’s fear, in other words, wanting to be God. And those souls, (like you and me), are allocated to take birth in the material creation. Our history books describe how we manage our affairs, by enslaving each other, and engaging in world-wide imperialism, wars, etc. Because we are in competition with God, he puts us in competition with each other. These tribulations are part of the redemption process. People speak of “love”, but if a relationship doesn’t serve their needs and desires, they file for divorce very quickly. There may be some degree of selfless inclination, but both man and woman are aspiring to satisfy their personal sense of “what I want”, be it sex, a sense of security, social status, “children that I can enjoy”, etc. Jesus didn’t look for a wife, nor did he desire children. He actually says in Bible that he came to tear families apart, in order to extricate those who are ready to follow him. So we are here, as you say “to learn”. To learn, firstly, that the things of this world cannot satisfy the spirit soul. And even if one can obtain and attain as much material enhancement as our heart desires, we can’t keep any of it. We come into this world with nothing, and we leave with nothing (except our accounts payable and receivable, sewing and reaping, or “karma’“). And, secondly, to learn that the only thing that can satisfy us completely is unalloyed love of God. “Unalloyed” means love that is not mixed with “What’s in it for me?” Worshiping God for material enhancements is not love……..it’s a business deal: “If I can get what I want, yes, I’ll worship God.” But real love is its own reward. A person who has real love of God says, “Not what I want from You, my Lord, but how can I be pleasing to You, or, Not my will but Thy will be done.” That this demeanor of the heart gives the highest perfection of satisfaction to the heart……..this is what we are here to learn. A materialistic person cannot imagine this.
SERAKAN: Each Dimension has its own set of rules and lessons to learn, and each Dimension is like a different grade level.
PETER: The Vedic literatures explain that there are higher and lower planets within the material creation. Earth is described as middle level. Others are more heavenly, and others more hellish. Again, this is a function of “sewing and reaping”. But even in the heavenly planets, the life span is temporal. It is like having a lot of money in the bank, and spending. When we have used up our good karma, we return to planets like this earthly planet.
SERAKAN: Earth is the hardest planet to incarnate/reincarnate on due to how dense it is. Earth is quite a commodity among other planets in our Solar System. Many alien souls are waiting patiently to incarnate/reincarnate here, because the experience Earth provides is very valuable in the evolution of our souls.
PETER: Yes, on the higher material planets, beings are equipped with mystic powers, beautiful bodies, etc. It is so intoxicating (according to Vedic scripture) that the desire to know God and reawaken our dormant love for Him remains asleep. But on a planet like this earthly planet, the material miseries of the mind and body act as an incentive for making spiritual progress. In one sense, God is watching, and asking, “Are we having fun yet?” Hardship serves to awaken the heart to inquire, “What is this all about? Why am I here? Why am I suffering.” When one comes to this point in the rehab process, he becomes able to listen to scripture with gratitude. God is not hiding from us. He’s just waiting for us to come back home to the spiritual realm. But we have some clean-up to do first.
SERAKAN: Sorry if I come off aggressive. It is a part of my warrior nature. I come across aggressive, but I speak only in love. But I was always told to stand up for what you believe in, even if you’re the only one standing. This is what I believe in, and many times I am the only one left standing. I innerstand, to an extent, of what Jesus went through. Jesus was a rebel, but with a good cause during his time here on Earth. Many people during Jesus’s time thought he was promoting heresy, and it got so bad that the hierarchy at the time wanted him dead. Yes Jesus had 12 apostles, but there were many moments where Jesus probably felt alone.
PETER: The Jewish church that wanted to do away with Jesus…. (I was born Jewish, so I can talk about Jews)…..They had a good thing going for them, good seats in the temple, social adoration, etc., and Jesus came to turn over their tables. From their point of view, Jesus was a trouble maker, and they felt, “We have to get rid of this guy.” But Jesus never felt alone. Because Jesus had a living relationship with God 7/24. Jesus knew perfectly that, “I am in this world, but I am not of this world.” That’s what he came to teach us. We also are in this world, and not of this world. But we identify with our gross material bodies as “Me”.
SERAKAN: I’m not saying I’m perfect, as you can see I am severely flawed, but I don’t believe in hiding what it is I believe. I’m also not here to please everybody either. I’m a truthseeker, I’m here to learn as much as I can about the truth. I was told by my mentor and my soul family that most people are not going to believe me. Most people will laugh and call you crazy, and of course, most people do exactly that. The things I talk about aren’t really new, they’ve just been discarded or forgotten through the ages. I’m simply here to remind people of who they really are.
PETER: Yes! In Bhagavad-gita, Krishna says that those who try to spread the truth, the “good word”, they are most dear to Him. Jesus says the same thing: “Instead of feeding the world by selling them fish, become fishers of men’s souls.” And the more we try to share spiritual knowledge, the more it becomes alive in our hearts.
SERAKAN: Whether or not they believe in me isn’t of my concern. I’m not responsible for anyone’s soul on this planet, the only soul I’m responsible for is my own. And that also includes, how well I am received, which is something I’m working on.
PETER: The most attractive thing to others is the love that is in our hearts. both for them and for God. When we begin to display these qualities, this awakens in the hearts of others, the desire to be closer to us, the desire to gain an understanding of what we are beginning to understand.
SERAKAN: It’s time to stop dividing people and judging people. I’m not saying we need to hold eachothers hands and sing kumbyah, but what I am saying is we need to learn how to get along with eachother. Every human deserves respect, not every hueman can be liked by everyone, but common human decency should be taken into account (and that includes me, because I’m part of the hueman race too).
PETER: Dividing the human race takes different forms. We are not white or black or Asian. We are not American, or Russian, or Indian. These are material designations. We are not material. We are not young or old. We are not healthy or sick. We are not men or women. We are not Hindu, Christian, Muslim or Jew. All of these divisions are designations attached to the material body and mind. (The mind is simply the software that comes with the gross material body.) God is the Father of all, including the creatures of the earth. They are simply souls who are placed in animal bodies. Their software does not enable them to understand spiritual concepts. But they are spirit souls, just as we are spirit souls. Everyone understands that animals can respond to love. Life is not a combination of material molecules. Life is the symptom of the presence of spirit. Life cannot be manufactured in a laboratory by the so-called science. The so-called who cannot even save himself, let alone others.
SEARAKAN: The hueman race has gotten too lax. I know I’m not for everyone, but even though I may come across aggressive, I truly come into this with nothing but love. If this religion gives you contentment or joy, then by all means, stay where you’re at. I’m not here to change your mind, but to offer an alternative point of view. You are more than free to disagree, and I will respect your decision, but there is a correct way to think though. I’m just here to help those who want it, and those that don’t want it, no problem. At the end of the day, it boils down to choice, something I refuse to meddle in.
PETER: Thank you for your humility. It makes me feel that you are approachable.
SERAKAN: You know…it is possible to disagree with certain things but still learn about the things you disagree with. There’s a lot I disagree with in regards to Catholicism, but I do want to learn more about it, cause maybe there’s a deeper truth I have yet to grasp.
PETER: I feel the same way. I like anyone who likes God, regardless of which tradition he or she tries to follow. From my point of view, religion is like buying baked beans at Walmart. There are 10 different brands, different labels, different packaging. But inside the can……baked beans. The goal of religion is love of God. If people who practice are experiencing a reawakening of our dormant love for God, then their religion is serving them. But one has to understand the process. One has to have an intimate relationship with a messenger of God who has this love in his heart. This is what Jesus meant when he said, “There is no way to approach the Father except through me.” He didn’t mean that he was the only associate of the Lord who has love for the Father. He was speaking to the people of his time, telling them that he could bring them closer to God, if they could approach him with hearts that were able to understand his heart. He told the people: “Accept the th yoke that I wear.” This is the “yoke” of love of God. There is no other way to come closer to God. Therefore Jesus teaches that one cannot become closer to God simply by being a “good” person by mundane moral standards. One must become a spiritual “understudy” of God’s messenger. It’s an apprenticeship program. God sends different messengers to different cultures, who speak in terms of what each culture is capable of understanding. He sent Moses to the Jews. He sent Jesus to give the next step. Not simply rules, and commandments……but love of God.
SERAKAN: I’m not perfect, and really, I know nothing.
PETER: If we were perfect, we wouldn’t be here, in the world of birth and death. In the spiritual world there is no birth and death, because all souls are eternal, no beginning and no end. There is one quote in the Bible where God says, “Before you were in your mother’s womb, I knew you.” But we are here, as you say, “to learn”, and I say, “We are in rehab.”
PETER: I’m gong to cut off here because on this site one can only write so many words in one response. I’ll see if this goes through, and try to pick up where I left off (in the next day or so). Thanks for sharing what’s in your heart, Peter
