How Can we see the Trinity

Peace to all,

Explaining the Trinity has always been hard, and some throw in the towel on their own logic and reject the Faith of Catholicism because no body understands Trinity until now, and I ask, why me, why is it me that gets to explain the Trinity so that even a child can understand it.

So, Ok I’ll accept the opportunity to excel, and this is not a me thing but for all thing.

To me the confusion is in the logical Holy Spirit Power.

God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
What is the Holy Spirit, logically, rationally, in being? The Holy Spirit is not a Person, but is God Power.

The persons of God pre-existing before creation was ever created was even created in intelligence logic are The Father, The Son and The Mother.

Each have Powers and are equal in the Power of God and separately are fully God and together they are one God in being. The One God and Holy Spirit.

And rhetorically, we can ask, who are teh powers? We already know teh answer, The Father, The Mother and The Son. Logically the Trinity of Powers become the Holy Spirit as One in Being is God.

So simple, why me? Ok and rhetotically we ask? Can you now see? Yes.

Peace always,
Stephen

The reason I am not commenting about your theory is because it is a bit new-agey sounding to me. It is for the same reason that space movies and deep-sea novels do not appeal to me. Even the idea of a Spiritual battle (angel vs demon forces) are hard for me to entertain. It isn’t that I do not believe these things (or realms) exist, it just doesn’t speak to me. It is like asking someone if they know how their smart-phone works. They might know how to do certain things on their phone, but they might not truly know how it works. You are diving deeper than surface level, whereas I am more interested in just knowing the things I am to do with all of this. If this makes sense.

Some of your theories are not spoken of by the Early Church Fathers and successors of the Apostles, so I am hesitant to entertain them on that accord.

Do not take offense to this. There are others who might be more understanding of what you are trying to convey. I appreciate you.

Peace to all,

Hi Cade_One and does all of the logic appear to help?

I have learned so much from all of you, thank you all so much. To me the understanding logically is great and it is even greater to see the light in the peoples eyes.

To me logic is for the slower learners and my IQ is about 107 and so I have to learn concepts hard and deep as not to have to relearn them for relearning them, again. In pondering The Seven gifts of the Holy Spirit and 255 or so Dogmas of the faith, the logic becomes so clear and every day becomes more and more of an epiphany understanding the logical manifestation of God with in all mankind as one in being, with respect to the all of the Wondrous Mysteries of the Faith, to me.

To me the logic of The Holy Spirit is what is so easy to understand. The Powers of the Trinity are People, beings with special functions. Powers to Create and build from intelligence unknown finitely. They are of the Father, and God of Creation from the corrupt spirit through the mortal flesh with the freedom in the soul of choice to love or not to love and to choose to become from the powers of Transformation through the God of Mercy, Mary, God of Transformation from the Immaculate Conception through the New Eve of immortality in the flesh and incorruption from The Holy Spirit through the Virgin Birth The Christ through the flesh of Jesus God of Glorification and Transfiguration conceived by the Divine Family of God by the Powers of the Holy Spirit through the flesh of Jesus, The God of Justice for all to become again glorified and transfigured into the Will of Creation to love only and love with only the most love in One God One and Holy Spirit being.

To me this is the Real Picture of The Actual Catholic Trinity in logic that Jesus delivered through The Ark of The New Covenant. We see One Holy Spirit God and

3 Persons in being.

Stephen Andrew

The Trinity. Let us talk common sense. Every can understand the concept of “God the Father”. (Except for the heart that is envious of God). Then we have the concept of “God the Son.” Why is the son equal to the Father. We are all God’s children. But the child, that son who bears to to us the message of the Father, his message is not different from the heart of the Father. His message is as good as hearing directly from God. Because his every word expresses the spirit of the heart of God. It is because of this reason, that God sends him to us, to teach us, to guide us, to direct us. So there is no difference between God the Father and God the son. We can relate to the son of God as we would relate to God himself, because he brings us directly, the message of God. He is the ambassador. Just like in politics of this world. The ambassador is not the president. But he is given all the respect that one would give to the president, because he is the authorized and empowered representative of the president. Therefore although Jesus is not God, we must show him the respect that is meant for God. This leaves us with the Holy Ghost. This is God’s all-pervasive spirit. God is in heaven, surrounded by the infinite number of heavenly hosts, the angels, his intimate associates. He sits on a throne, surrounded and glorified in this way. And those who glorify Him, have their hearts inundated with spiritual bliss. “Their cup runneth over.” However, at the same time, “Not a blade of grass moves without the will of the Lord.” He is in heaven…but at the same time, every blade of grass on this planet moves under His jurisdiction! Just like, the president. He sits in his office. but when he passes a law, his power is manifest all over the country. That is crude example. It is not difficult for God to be blissfully seated on His throne in heaven, while at the same time, managing the movement of every blade of grass, the wind, the sprouting of every seed in the earth, the blossoming of every flower…and the activities of every man. Each of us is moved by God. But we are not moved in the same way. God has different powers, different energies. One of His energies is called Mammon". What is Mammon? Mammon is the the worldly self-centered orientation of the rebellious soul. Everyone is a servant of God. If we are not serving God, we are serving Mammon. And we are earning the rewards of serving Mamon. And if we are serving God directly we are guided in a very different way. All of this is going on under God’s supervision. He sends His messenger, Jesus, to us, and the choice is ours. it is our choice who we serve. But everyone is servant. This is the Holy Ghost. He is present in everyone’s heart. But to those who agree to surrender their hearts to Jesus, He allows us to feel His presence in our hearts. And He moves us differently. We don’t have to be strong to resist sin. We only have to be strong to come closer to Jesus, His son. And when we do, He frees us from being the slaves of the dictates of Mammon. And one who is freed in this way…that person has received the Holy Ghost. He resides in all of us. But not all of us are aligned with Him, through the mercy of His son. Those who are not aligned think that they are freely independent. But without the presence of God in our hearts, without His sanction, we can’t even take our next breath.

On July 1st, 1943, Jesus dictated to Maria Valtorta His comparison of the Holy Trinity to light: The Notebooks: 1943 (pp. 55-56), because, as He puts it, “this [light] is the only thing that can represent God without being antithetical to His spiritual Essence.”

To me, The angels knew, were told by God of the becoming power of flesh in the New Heaven and Earth, Heaven, and Flesh is logically how mankind through The Christ saves the angels.

The subject of the Trinity is not easy to understand. To fully understand it you would need to be God. While it is true that we can’t fully understand it, it is also true that we can know that it is a reality. First let me clear up some false statements that I found in the previous texts. Jesus is God and Mary is not. That is very basic Christian doctrine. The doctrine of the Trinity can best be explained in the following manner:

There is only one God. That one God, is comprised of three persons. There is no contradiction here. If we said that He was one being and three beings or one person and three persons that would be contradictory. But we are not saying that. Nor are we saying that the one God presents Himself in three different ways. To be sure there is a mystery involved. But that does not mean that we cannot know it to be true. Only that we cannot fully understand it.

The Nicene Creed says that Jesus is “begotten not made, one in being with the Father.” It also says that the Holy Spirit “proceeds from the Father and the Son.” Some think that means that the Son and the Holy Spirit came later? But that cannot be as it would mean that there was a time when God was not complete. The Creed also says that Jesus is true God from True God. And as such he would have all the attributes of “true God.”

But how could the Son have been begotten by the Father and at the same time be eternally coexistent? Nature itself gives us a hint. You can light one candle from another. The second flame can be said to proceed from the first. And yet both flames are of the same substance and are the same age. When you hold the flames together, they are one. Pull them apart and they are distinctly two. We can say the second flame was begotten not made and one with the other. The same can be said if we include a third flame.

A perfect and all-powerful God does not need anything or anyone. If He were dependent on anyone or anything He would not be perfect or all powerful. It stands to reason that a perfect God would be perfectly loving. But as Richard of St. Victor notes, love needs an object. And if God is going to be independent and perfectly loving the object of His love would have to be another person within Himself. God’s love is creative and life giving so it naturally manifests itself in a third person. Thus, the doctrine of the Trinity is reasonable and to be expected. All of this is backed up by Scripture.

Hebrews 2:17 For this reason he had to be made like them,[k] FULLY HUMAN IN EVERY WAY, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. 18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

What Trinitarians need to realize is the ‘hypostatic union’ destroys the atonement. If Jesus was God that makes him a fraud and the cross a hoax.

The bible says he was tempted IN EVERY WAY AND THAT HE KNEW TEMPTATION. It also says that, “God cannot be tempted and therefore cannot sin.”

If Jesus was God that means he could not have sinned anyway making him a fraud and the cross a hoax!

Peace to all,

Thue by faith we believe the Holy Spirit is a Person and Mary is not in the Trinity because this is what they say, from Forefathers of the Trinity from the 1st and 3rd centuries even till today, but logically this is incorrect and irrational to even believe, to me.

The Holy Spirit is the Family of God, logically in all rationality in generalization, to me.

How in all generalization, logically cannot the Holy Spirit not be the Family Of God becoming again in all.

Mary became the Immaculate Conception at the Annunciation when Mary said, “Let not my will but your will be done to me.” At that instany Mary became the Mind of God in the Immaculate flesh and The New Eve.

Peace always,
Stephen

The Holy Spirit is the power of God. Consider how nonsensical this appears when one believes in trinity.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

My bible says Jesus’ ministry began “in the power of the Spirit.”

In Luke 1:35 the Holy Spirit is identified as “the power of the Highest.”

Speaking of the Holy Spirit, which would be given to His followers after His death, Jesus told them, “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…” (Acts 1:8).

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.\par

Another verses…
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

If you would do a little footwork you would also see that the word HE was added by translators. The interlinear words it like this, “it-shall-be-guiding” - That’s correct - IT! You can’t dispute it. The KJV adds and removes more than you think.

Whenever the power of the holy is present, a divine being angel is also often present to administer this POWER

Peace to all,

True we can choose our image, and through choice we become again from the spirit intelligence.

How did the Mind of God become to earth? Faithfully we know from God.

Logically spirit intelligence comes from choice defiled and fallible through the created souls genetics for the flesh in the body to manifest from the selected choice spirit intelligence becoming the image of the selected spirit intelligence to become again infallible logical fulfilled intelligence in One Body.

Creation from the Father Co-Redemption is From the Annunciation through the Immaculate Conception for the New Eve Mary becoming immaculate flesh transformed flesh immortality from the Holy Spirit for all mankind from the Virgin Birth through the Holy Spirit Family of God for Jesus becoming Holy Spirit incorruption in the Christ in all mankind becoming again One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, logically in all generalization.

We know by faith Mary is not in the Trinity and The Holy Spirit is a person.

Peace always,
Stephen

To have Mary as part of the Trinity is a heresy against the Catholic Church.

Peace to all,

To me the Catholic Church is seeking a Miriam Presence and cannot see Mary logically in the Trinity “as” the Miriam presence that has been in The Holy Spirit Family since before creation was ever created was even created as The Mother of God, to me.

I am not arguing the Faith of what the Moses seat has bound, says the Trinity is, just the logic.

Fatithfully Mary is not in theTrinity. I agree. It is heresy to believe Mary is faithfully in the Trinity and a God.

Logically Mary is both in the Trinity and The God of Mercy, God of Transformation and Queen of Heaven, Mother of God and Mother of Son of Man and our Mother from the Holy Spirit and our Sister in the Immaculate Flesh, rationally.

I have no problem faithfully believing the Holy Spirit is not a Family and is but a person and the Mother, Mary is not in the Trinity, 1st and 3rd Century Tellurian and Praxeas Forefathers of the Trinity say so and so does the Church.

Logically, It is what the Chuch says, from Moses’ seat. I am not arguing the Faith.

Logically the Mother was there together with the Father and the Son in One Holy Family in infallibly fulfilled undefiled intelligence logic becoming again in all One Family of God.

I am just saying the Holy Spirit is logically the Family of God conceived in Jesus becoming the Logical Christ in all mankind becoming again One Holy Spirit Family One God in being. They just missed the OMNILogic, to me.

Fatihfully, No argument, no heresy no foul, just OMNILogic.

Fulfilled Heaven and Earth becomes never failing loving only and loving with only the most love becoming again One Holy Family from His Passion through both natures, spirit and life, becoming again in One Body.

Logically “born again” from the New Eve, Mary, The Immaculate Conception, flesh immortality transformation through Jesus the New Adam in the Christ in all mankind becoming Holy Spirit incorruption becoming again reimaged glorified and incorruptibly transfigured "saved " in One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, rationally.

Faith is bound on earth as it is in heaven, becoming again.

United as One in being.

Peace always,
Stephen

Hi Smidge:

Yes, Jesus was fully human, and He was fully God. We call this the Incarnation. In His human nature He can be tempted. In His Divine nature He cannot. We know this because the Bible, and the Church that gave us the Bible, tell us as much. So now, let us take a closer look at why the Church has always taught that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all a part of the Godhead.

Scripture is clear on the fact that there is but one God. The prophet Isaiah proclaimed: “You are my witnesses” says the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am He. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me” (43:10).

The Bible is also clear on the fact that anyone else who is referred to as a god is a false god and in reality, no god at all. Paul tells us the following in his first letter to the Corinthians:

“‘There is no God but one.’ For although there may be so-called gods in heaven or on earth – as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords” – yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist" (8:4-6).

Note the last line. It says there is “one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.” The book of Colossians goes even further: “For in Him [Jesus] all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities – all things were created through Him and for Him (1:16). The Bible teaches us in several places that it was God who created all things (see Revelation 4:11). Unless Jesus is God how can all things be created through Him?

Even the Old Testament presents us with evidence that supports the doctrine of the Trinity. Before man was ever created, God said: “Let us make man in our image…. So, God created man in His own image” (Genesis 1:26-27). At the Tower of Babel God said: “Let us go down, and there confuse their language… So, the Lord** scattered them abroad” (Genesis 11:7). Notice how singular and plural terms are used interchangeably for the one true God?

But doesn’t Scripture portray Jesus as a man who is subordinate to God? Yes, it does but there is no contradiction here. Jesus came to earth as a man to offer Himself up for our sins. This is called the Incarnation. As such He was fully human and fully divine. In His human nature He was subordinate to the Father. In His Divine nature He was one with the Father (John 10:30).

Isaiah predicts the birth of Jesus with these words: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder, and His name will be called “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (9:5-6). Mighty God, Everlasting Father? There is only one way to interpret that statement. Jesus is God.

In Isaiah 44:6 God the Father says: “I am the first and I am the last**; besides me there is no god.” In Revelation 1:17 Jesus says: “Fear not I am the first and the last.” God the Father said: “I am the Lord, and besides me there is no savior” Peter said: “Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:11).

In Exodus 3:14-15 God says to Moses: “I AM who I AM” And He said, “Say this to the people of Israel, “The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you: this is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.”

The Hebrew word rendered as “I AM” is recorded as YHWH. As a sign of respect, the vowels were removed from God’s name so that no one would repeat it. It was felt that no one was worthy to speak the name of God. The name “I AM” is more a reflection of what the proper name of God means rather than the actual name itself. Yahweh and Jehovah are two guesses at what the original name was. For the sake of argument, I will use Jehovah.

Jesus is the Greek form of the Hebrew name “Jehoshua.” Jehoshua is usually shortened to Joshua or Jeshua. In the east names are more than a label. Quite often they tell us something about the person. The name Jehoshua comes from two Hebrew words; Jehovah (the proper name of God) and hoshea (saving). So, Jesus or Jehoshua literally means Jehovah our salvation.

The first of the Ten Commandments forbids us from worshipping anyone other than the one true God (Exodus 20:2-6). In Revelation 7:11 we read the following: “And all the angels stood round the throne and round the elders and four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshipped God.” Here we see the residents of heaven worshipping the one true God.

The Greek word rendered as worship is proskuneo (πrοσεκύνησαν). It literally means worshipped. The following New Testament verses use the same Greek word in relation to Jesus:

  1. And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Hail!” And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshipped Him (Matthew 28:9).
  2. Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw Him they worshipped Him (Matthew 28:16-17).
  3. And those in the boat worshipped Him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God” (Matthew 14:33).

Conclusion; Scripture tells us we can only worship the one true God. Scripture also tells us that we can worship Jesus. Thus, Jesus must be God. Acts 5:3-4 tells us that lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God. In 2 Corinthians 3:17 we are told that the Lord is the Spirit. Finally in Hebrews 3:7-9 the Holy Spirit claims to be God:

“Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today when you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness, where your fathers put me to the test and saw my works for forty years.”

Referring to the same event Deuteronomy 8:2 says: “And you shall remember all the way which the Lord your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness.”

One verse says it was the Holy Spirit and the other says it was God. Thus, the Holy Spirit is God. And so, we see that there is only one God. We also see that the Father is God, Jesus is God and the Holy Spirit is God. And that is the doctrine of the Trinity.

Peace to all,

Logical Family.

The Holy Spirit as a Family of God is from the Father through the Mother for the Son becoming the Christ in all mankind becoming again One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, OMNILogically, to me.

To me, rationally, The Miriam Presence is Mary in the Trinity Family and we cannot see the Trinity logically because of faith?

Through Faith we believe what the Church says but logically, to me, we know The Mother, Mary preexisted before creation was ever created was even created together with the Father and the Son, Jesus in One Holy Family.

True we can choose our spouse, and through choice we become again from the spirit intelligence.

Mary became from the Annunciation the First Christ on earth in from Mind of God through sanctified immaculate flesh for the New Eve in the Virgin Birth of The New Adam, Holy Spirit Incorruption conceived by the Power of the Holy Spirit Family in the flesh of Jesus becoming the Christ in all mankind becoming again One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, logically. Logically the Holy Family with Mary is The Advocate, left behind from the cross, “Ecce Mater tua”, to me.

Spirit intelligence to me consists of Fathers, through Mary of the Flesh for Jesus of The Spirit from the New Eve through The New Adam becoming for Our own personal Christ becoming transformed immortality of the flesh through incorruption of The Holy Spirit becoming again glorified and transfigured One Holy Spirit Family. The Father, Son and Mother are logically each Gods equal in the powers of God and separately Personal Gods in being and together One Holy Spirit Family One God in being.

Logically the Father is two persons, Male and Female together with the Son becoming again in all one Holy Spirit Family One God in being.

Logically Three Gods preexisted before creation From The Father through the Mother for the Son becoming the Christ becoming again in all One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, rationally.

How did the Mind of God become to earth? Faithfully we know from God.

“But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
so that you may not appear to others to be fasting,
except to your Father who is hidden.
And your Father who sees what is hidden will repay you.”

In 2 Corinthians 13:14, the “fellowship of the Holy Spirit” refers to the shared experience and relationship believers have with the Holy Spirit, emphasizing a connection and participation in The Holy Spirit’s divine life and work. This phrase highlights the Holy Spirit’s role in uniting believers with God and with each other, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.

Fellowship is Family preexistence before creation as The Holy Family. Now with the Holy Spirit defined logically correct as The Family One God in being there leaves room for the another person in the Trinity being the Mother together with the Father and The Son in One Holy Family becoming again in all, logically.

The Father of Our Immaculate Flesh is the New Eve and The Father of our Holy Spirit is from the New Adam becoming The Holy Spirit Family of God in Our Flesh as The Christ becoming again One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, logically.

Logically spirit intelligence comes from choice defiled and fallible through the created souls genetics for the flesh in the body to manifest from the selected choice spirit intelligence becoming the image of the selected spirit intelligence to become again infallible logical fulfilled intelligence in One Body.

Creation from the Father Co-Redemption is From the Annunciation through the Immaculate Conception for the New Eve Mary becoming immaculate flesh transformed flesh immortality from the Holy Spirit for all mankind from the Virgin Birth through the Holy Spirit Family of God for Jesus becoming Holy Spirit incorruption in the Christ in all mankind becoming again One Holy Spirit Family One God in being.

Family is logically The Holy Spirit.

Peace always,
Stephen

What a mind-bending load of idiotic incoherent nonsense this thread is. Do you people listen to yourselves? Can anyone be unhinged enough to believe what you say?

Peace to all,

Thanks David, for the additional words.

To me, 1st and 3rd Forefathers of The TrinityTellurian, Praxeas and the Didache is where I see The Trinity in teh Catholic Church established.

Faithfully we believe what the Church says, but logically? The Mother of God? Not in the Trinity? And the Church saying the Holy Spirit is a person? If the Church binds the Holy Spirit as a person then from the Moses Seat The Trinity is bound in heaven too. Three persons with no Mother and no Family, then no “Women” in The Trinity? …Come on. This can’t be? Logically.

Logically there were three wise “Men” in Bethlehem at The Virgin Birth of The Christ.

Pope Francis was faithfully seeking the Miriam Presence and logicaly perhaps could not see the Family of God as The Trinity, to me. Pope Leo XIV speaks of Marriage and Family and His greatest power is through the Holy Spirit Family One God in being from the Moses Seat. To me all fulfilled faith and morality is logically derived from proper logic of The Trinity Family of God becoming again in all One God in being.

To me logically do you see the Holy Spirit as a person or a Family of God? Jesus is a God and the Father is a God? Together they are in a Holy Family.

Jesus is the Christ conceived from the Power of the Holy Spirit Family One God in being, logically, to me. We are created from the Father transformed becoming immaculate immortality through the Mother, Mary, God of Mercy for the Son, Jesus becoming the Christ in all mankind through Holy Spirit Incorruption becoming again glorified and transfigured in One Family, OMNILogically. And faithfully no one will deny this logic truthfully and rationally, to me.

The Trinity with Mary can be understood logically by even a Child, as The Family becoming again in all. Why leave out the Mother of God? Rationally,

Peace always,
Stephen

The idea that Mary is the “mother of God” requires intellectual gymnastics so extreme and illogical as to render the idea absurd. And the trinity? Three gods in one? One god in three? huh? nonsense. The 'holy spirit" is a catholic invention. There can be no such thing as the “son of god”. And the idea that Jesus would have required us to believe in he himself in order to go to heaven is the dumbest thing I ever heard. What about all the people before Jesus? Did they all go to hell? What about a hindu child or a muslim child who never heard of Jesus? Do they go to hell? What about the New York city firemen who died on 9/11 trying to save the lives of others. Some of them weren’t christian. Maybe some were Jewish or muslim or agnostic or atheist or buddhist. Or like me they just didn’t believe in religion. Did they go to hell? Sorry. I don’t buy it. God must be better than this.
