This parish was actually vacant and scheduled for demolition. A group of parishioners from before it was shut down joined together to fight the diocese all the way to the Vatican. They succeeded. Eventually, the diocese turned it over to the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest which opened it back up a few years ago as an ICKSP oratory.
