Anyone still experiencing/has experienced the Winter Storm that came through?

Just thought I’d check up on you all. We’ve got one heck of a Winter Storm down here. We’re supposed to get 6-11 inches of additional snow, on top of the 3 inches we got yesterday.

You all doing ok?

Peace to all,

Thanks fine, here, how is all?
Sunday to Monday Waterville, Maine for us suposedly is predicted 11 inches, non yet, -7 last night.

Peace always,
Stephen

Well…here, we’ve had it snow all night, and it’s going to snow all day till like 6 pm I think. But still, I dunno if I’ll be able to go home on Monday. I might have to stay at the hotel I work at another night.

Philadelphia is supposed to get a “massive snowstorm,” dumping 6 to 10 inches. We have about two inches so far. Freezing rain later may bring down trees, branches, and wires, and with temperatures in the teens that will be a problem for people who lose power.

I am always ready to tell people about the blizzard of ‘78, when in Boston we got about two and a half feet of snow on top of about a foot and a half from a previous storm. The roof on the Boston Edison power plant came down, and we had a blackout.

Wow, glad our hotel didn’t have that problem with the amount of snow we’ve accumulated.

Did the winter storm touch Maine Stephen? Cause, it looked like it was going east of me. I live near St. Louis, so naturally I got caught up in the storm, but I’m wondering if it has touched Maine yet.

Peace to all,

Good power here, just south of Waterville, about 9 inches, should be great sking at Sunday river, Newry, ME.

Yep! We got about 10-12 inches. Dug ourselves out this morning. The snow-blower we got on Black Friday got a workout this morning : ) The kids haven’t had school in a week, between the extreme temperatures and the snow. No school tomorrow either.
