A little snow left from two minor snowfalls in the past week. Last week, the news said that the Philadelphia area was going to get “walloped” with 3 to 5 inches of snow. Instead, we got walloped with an inch and a half. To someone who was born in upstate New York and used to live in Massachusetts, 3 to 5 inches is a love tap, not a wallop. When I lived in Virginia, anything more than a few inches was the end of the world. They had Snowmageddon and Snowpocalypse. I wonder whether they are still coming up with cataclysmic names.
