Why I think God answers all prayers, but the answer isn't always immediate

So, it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, and that’s because I am mostly here to learn. And I have been learning…quite a lot actually about your faith.

But I want to talk about why I think God answers all of our prayers. You see, I’m a believer that anything that comes into existence exists for a purpose. We have trees so we as huemans can breathe. We have bees, so our flowers get pollinated. So every single thing in existence can be explained.

So when we’re praying for someone or something, we are basically asking God for a favor or favors. And sometimes God will grant them, but there are times where we pray for something or someone and it doesn’t happen.

Now there are many ways to look at this. Some people say “Well, it has to be in God’s timing.” Or I hear others say “Sometimes the answer is no.” But I have a different take on why it seems like nothing happens.

Now, I can’t say this is how it works for everyone. I truly believe that every soul is very unique and every soul responds to things differently. And God knows you well enough that he responds in a way that is unique to you. So, this won’t apply to everyone, but in my case…the only reason why something doesn’t happen when I pray for it is because, I’m not ready for the answer. You see, God loves all of us, and if there’s something we don’t know and we’re not ready to know, then God simply won’t give you an answer, because you’re not open enough to receive that answer. That doesn’t mean you’re “stupid” or you’re “ignorant”, it just means that at this time, you are not ready for that particular answer. Now, it’s possible that as you grow in your walk, and you evolve in your thinking, that the answer will finally be revealed to you. Or, it’s also possible that you don’t get to a certain level of innerstanding and you may never find out the answer.

Now here’s the thing, it really doesn’t matter if you never find the answer. Not being able to innerstand something or know something is not going to hinder your spiritual growth. But just like with anything else, the option to know something is there for you, should you choose that option, but it’s not required for you to have a good afterlife.

I have found with me, that some of my questions about this life get answered immediately. While other things take time to finally receive the answer. But, I will say this, I ALWAYS receive an answer, just not immediately. And the more open-minded you are, the more you innerstand this reality and the easier it becomes to answer some very loaded questions like “Why does evil exist?” “Why do bad things happen to good people?” “Why does abortion exist?” And I find as I go through this life with having an open and curious mind, the more the answer tends to come easier.

I have found that when you approach every single situation and take it as a learning experience, and you ask the question “What can I learn from this?” Instead of saying “Oh this is so negative, I can’t be thinking about that right now” you actually find out why that particular experience made you feel that particular way.

I also find God is very user-friendly. Depending on how you view the world, God will essentially show you things according to your worldview. So, if you look at life through a Catholic perspective, you might see pictures of Jesus a lot, and you could interpret that as Jesus is watching over you. Or maybe someone will say something that you can relate to God or Jesus or maybe even how God and Jesus work in your life. And if you’re Baptist, then God will show you things through that type of lense.

And then you have me…lol. Now because I’ve made a promise to this forum that I wasn’t going to introduce concepts outside of the faith, I will keep my word, but God has a very unique way of revealing things to me. And I mean…I don’t know of too many people who have my view of how things work…one person put it best “You’re the most unique person I’ve ever spoken to.” Oh, but the other best thing I was told was “You realize you’re the male version of Phoebe off of the t.v. show Friends right?” So, if you want to know how God answers my prayers…you are more than welcome to DM me. Just be prepared to hear some pretty wild stuff, that’s all I can say.

So, the only question I have is, what do you guys think about prayer? Do you agree with me, or disagree with me? What do you all think?

I think that you have gained a lot of insights about prayer and how God responds.
