Flannery O’Connor. I used to have a beautiful hardcover copy of her complete works. Years ago I brought it with to daily Mass because I was going to go to work right after Mass and read from the book on my lunch hour. I had my name and contact info inside the front cover of the book. A fellow parishioner noticed the book and asked if she could borrow it. I didn’t know her well other than we belonged to the same parish. I loaned her the book and she never returned the book to me.

You may get it back in the weirdest of ways. I manage about a dozen family members’ graves on Find a Grave. One day I received a message from a lady who had found my Aunt’s Bible at a thrift shop and asked if I knew anyone in the family who would like to have it. My Aunt had three children, though one had passed. None of my cousins are faithful Christians and neither was this Aunt. However, her Sister has a great love for our Lord and I called her and she was excited about receiving it. So you will never know how this book may one day find its way home (it just might be after you are gone ; )

Vinny Flynn I just finished reading “7 Secrets of the Eucharist”. Very thought provoking and informative.
