It looks to me like it was Allah who was moving on 9/11. How else could the attack have been so successful? What are your thoughts?
Well, I have an idea of why evil exists in the world (this is of course, just how I view it). And I will try to frame my answer within the Catholic framework, because again this is a Catholic Forum and this is for Catholics to come together in fellowship. And I think thatâs something we have to respect. We donât have to agree with Catholicism, but again, this is a Catholic Forum and Catholics go through enough as it is.
But hereâs one way or one angle to consider. Again, itâs just a possibility but itâs something to consider. God is the source of all that is good, holy, and pure right? And since God lives outside of space and time, everything in the realm where God resides is instant and immediate. So he can see everything all at once: past, present, and future.
One of the questions Catholics get a lot is, why does God allow bad things to happen? Well, if God can see everything all at once: past, present, and future, then he can also see the results of any action that is taken. So when something bad happens, while God knows that something bad will happen, but because God sees the good and the beautiful, he sees what the result of that bad action will be. And because God sees the good that can come from that bad situation, he allows the problem to play out, because God knows that a lot of good can come from an otherwise dire situation.
What happened at 9/11 was extremely tragic. Lots of lives were lost and lots of families were affected. And I am in no way excusing the actions of those involved in running planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. What happened was extremely terrible and sad. But, it would be remiss to not see the good that has happened because a tragedy occurred. Because of 9/11, a lot of places (especially airports) really buckled down on security, because this was a security breach. And I also remember reading somewhere, granted this was temporaryâŚand I think it only happened for a week, but for a whole week there wasnât any abortions. And I think this was the week following 9/11, but for an entire week, no abortions were being done.
Now, what really happened regarding that day, and why I think God allows evil or bad things to happen, I have a different take on both of those things. But, I hope that maybe a different perspective on this could help those who struggle with the concept of evil. If you wanna know what I really think, you are welcome to DM me.

The word âAllahâ is the arabic word for âGodâ. Their god is the same god as yours. Calling the other persons god the devil is ignorant nonsense. And if youâre familiar with your Old Testament you know that your god personally ordered the extermination of entire tribes and peoples. âspare not a single one of them but go from gate to gate and put every man,woman and child to the swordâ. Including the Amelkites, the Midianites, the Canaanites, the people of the town of Laish, the people of the town of Bashan, and on and on. No different from what Islamists did on 9/11. Muslims were about since roughly 300 or later AD, while Christianity (with the foundation of prophecy going back some thousands of years via the Jews)âŚsure you can guess the date, i.e. they can spout what they want. St. Paul said that the gods of the pagans are demons and therefore it follows suit (I brought this subject up in another thread solely to do with St. Paulâs assertion).
There is a difference between someone worshipping God and thinking they are worshipping God. If they were worshipping a demon but thinking it is God then their worship will be taken for what it is, but which doesnât negate the practical effects of invoking a demon. Islam consists of demons - my research leads to the subject of Jinn and which comes from the Buddhist religion, in fact. It is probably this inclusion that had MD (not saying his name online in case we get threatened with being beheaded) get everything else confused - he was listening to demons. Historian types have him as a merchant who because of his island-hopping trading business was able to pick up snippets of religions here and there and throw them together in one factually incorrect mishmash. Their problem. If you think that inspiration from God means merciless behaviour then you are on the wrong website. And people can tell if something is wise or not and should be able to see if their version of wisdom leads to the development of all around them, including people. Sometimes people see only what they want to see.
Old Testament pre-figurements were due to wars going on. Opposition was bringing the devil in. And they were obstructive. You had ancient idols. What happened was justice taking place. They faced the devil and so they faced death. God saved the Jews decisively for the sake of humanity and history, and love is relational and therefore meaning those who followed Him received His blessings. If you think back, Bin Laden was responsible for agony and anguish and death despite those people in the Twin Towers and area surrounding possibly being truly God worshipping people. He injured people for his own ideas and because âthe infidelâ (everyone) must be murdered.
You seem very intent on defending those who are barbaric. There is a difference between well-reasoned thought and consideration, and barbarity. What they did was criminal. Immoral. Opposite to love.
In my area we have a heroin and boy-grooming child-trafficking network in situ and it is covered up by the socialist (coined) services. Theyâve known in detail what has been taking place for about ten years and yet continue to divert attention away from this gang because one of the ringleaders gives information to the police as an informant and because he is used amongst other bribed individuals to push residents from their houses due to certain public officers being involved in property deals. This is corruption. And they know what they are doing. And they play games with people and mock sincerity and all other forms of goodwill. They injure and kill both humans and animals. Love in all its forms is not held in regard but seen as a trait to be taken advantage of. You think these people are given a free pass without ever saying sorry? You think that justice cannot be served in their direction?
The Islamists would make exactly the same argument against you that you have made against them. Who is worshipping God and who is thinking they are worshipping God? Do you really not see the hypocrisy of your argument?

No, I really donât think we can guess. What he is saying is that the spared girls are not impure and so will eventually marry men in a state of purity. Again, you can take snippets out of context or read subjects as a whole and so obliging the expanse of narrative.
There is no evidence that any of the hijackers were devil worshipers or even Muslims. They drank, smoked and cavorted at strip clubs before the hijacking. What is in evidence is that the majority held Saudi passports and received funding from the members of that royal family. Why would the Saudi king (our great ally and personal friend of every Republican from Bush to Trump) want the US to be attacked? We will never know as that question has been firmly dismissed and ignored for the easy, hateful narrative about âJihadâ.

No body got health care or any business done after 9/11 because the country was on lock down. Bush created the DHS and took our freedom with the promise of security. We got neither.

Bin Laden in interviews (thereâs one on YouTube) was talking about âAllahâ. His rationale being that the US has committed acts worthy of âJihadâ in Meccah, the âholy place of the Muslimsâ, etcâŚ
In thousands of videos, Christians and other people are murdered in the name of Allah. They are all over the internet, though in the US I wouldnât put too many terrorist linked words into your search in case you get a knock on your door from the police or the FBI (and which would be correct procedure, as opposed to the UK where âthe stateâ are traitors to their own people, i.e. they are imposters).
Many people use slogans to justify their violence doesnât mean that is why. Look at the IDF since October 7th, an âeye for an eyeâ has long since been exhausted. Look at Trump with MAGA yet the economy is in shambles and we are in a forever war we are losing and he is still claiming to be a âChristianâ. I donât fear the knock on the door. Thousands of my fellows have received it already. You canât silence us all.

I guess I need to know what you mean by lockdown. Iâm assuming you mean like people couldnât fly anywhere, because Iâve never boarded a plane and flown anywhere, never even been to the airport.

The Jews and the Arabs have been at war since before Islam. I still donât see why you are defending Islam. Hasnât got much to do with it. The Jews and Arabs hate one another. The Jews will go to the same lengths as Arabs, when at war. I agree that the Jews shouldnât blow up innocent civilians, while they will do so because they not only hate Arabs but deem Islam to be evil and which when you consider the atrocities carried out in the name of âAllahâ, quite honestly who could disagree.
I am not convinced of the sincerity of those who are Muslims, either, and which is probably all of them. The ones Iâve met believe in God but donât seem altogether sure of the specifics. And many who escaped their own religion during ISILâs campaigns of barbarity to overseas destinations were converted to Christianity. Look what they did to Malala. Sheâs a Muslim, granted, but a vocal one, whose message stretched beyond the perimeter of her own belief-system. Many are bullies. They loathe the West.
I donât get the âfollow any directionâ outlook. Just lacks information and detail. Arabs and so therefore Muslims make money from the West and Europe with their oil and other goods and then wants to kill us for it and blame the West for inhabiting their lands. Past centuries saw insensitive treatment towards those of the Middle East, with Britain and France being arrogant, as usual, while Arabs being barbaric goes way back before then and so they donât have an excuse. They were attacking Christian pilgrims in the East and hence why the Crusades came about and which dates right back to only a couple of hundred years after the Dark Ages, and which in turn is only five hundred years following the devising of Islam.

Remember the term, âFaith into politics but not politics into faithâ. We have to be for the advancement of civilisation - respect shown towards all people by all people, etcâŚand so therefore if humanity is to progress along routes where we are working towards a worldwide utopia (with accompanying freedoms that steer us well away from globalism) then we have a duty to involve our enlightened consciences where duty demands.
Israel doesnât go to war with humanity and furthermore does associate with Christians in talks, in interfaith dialogue. They also have a central base, with a Chief Rabbi, and so equating to responsibility. Compare that with Islam where it appears they keep wanting over the centuries to slaughter everyone but themselves, and which never improves because they are brainwashed and donât engage in dialogue and furthermore donât have a headquarters and nor indeed a chief anyone as they have no intent to engage, then you can understand why the situation will never improve.
You have here a situation where a percentage of the globeâs population want to kill you because you are not one of them. I think we can safely deduce from thisâŚfactâŚthat you can back your government and any other which rightly sees the belief-system as a threat to your existence and that of Western values and which the Jews are fully in sync with as they are as much involved in Western society and cultures and indeed politics as anyone else.
Depends whoâs narrative you believe. Some believe that Israel may have had something to do with 9/11. Others say one our own United States Agencies had something to do with 9/11. Both of these theories are similar in that Bush wanted to continue his Fatherâs wars. And H.W. Bush was the head of the CIA prior to becoming President of the United States!
I never considered myself a 9/11 Truther, but the story about one of the hijackers on American Airlines Flight 11, Satam al-Suqamiâs passport surviving the attack or being found on the street (near Vesey Street) by a passerby who handed it to a New York Police Department detective is a little suspicious. On September 15, 2001, FBI Assistant Director Barry Mawn publicly announced at a press conference that the passport of one of the hijackers had been recovered several blocks away from Ground Zero after being blown clear of the initial impact. Iâm sorry, Iâm not believing it.
