I think its the Chicken. Because life has to be formed first, before it can lay eggs.

Current scientific consensus is that birds evolved from dinosaurs. Dinosaurs laid eggs.
I didnât know chickens were logical in their thinking. Or are you suggesting that they had thought out reasons for why they cross roads?
Obviously the eggs. Even if we disregard eggs from other species (like dinosaur eggs that existed before chickens), evolution shows that the mutations that change a species mostly happen at conception. So the first chicken egg was generated by the combination of genes from other species, which changed into what we consider chickens, and that egg (already a chicken egg) created the chicken (as mutations do not happen during life).
But it is important to mention that it is hard, if not impossible, to define a specific point where a chicken started being a chicken. Several individuals evolved into what a chicken is today, but there was a gradual change between several âprimitive chickens,â not an abrupt change in one individual that became a chicken and gave rise to all other chickens.
If one considers all the different species of animal and mammals on the planet, including those in the sea, there not being any two creatures and neither the patterning on them which are exactly the same, i.e. by means of evolution, a dinochick turning into a chickenâŚthen can you see how each of those individual animals and mammals having had to stem from a previous one seems hard to fathom. What were the species before each of them? The presence of weevils never ceases to stun me - where did they come from, when seemingly out of thin air? One would have to say âeggsâ, as said-creature, chicken or otherwise, has to be born from that which it comes, while even on that very practical level Creation is quite unfathomable.
