What are the spiritual differences between wearing a Miraculous Medal and a Scapular?

If anyone can explain the differences between the two and the history behind each, I am interested in learning about these practices.

I was fortunate enough to have been inducted into the Scapular Confraternity a few years ago by a truly wonderful Priest. Thr brown scapular is what I wear to honor Mary and keep her on my mind throughout the day.
