What is kinda sad is. Had Judas Iscariot not fallen to despair, and rather repented and tried to redeem himself. Then i think he would have gone to heaven but… alas he chose to kill himself.
One of the reasons why i like Passion of the Christ movie, is it does depict what suicidal mind can look like, which is hard to watch, but its realistic depiction i think.
To shield myself from those thoughts. I always think of what “Chuck Norris” said in Walker Texas Ranger, which did help me when i was suffering from long term depression. Interms of scars might be there, but wounds may heal slowly over time. Those words helped me alot.
And Galatians 5:13-25 is what helped me to understand what it means to truly live, what it means to live for something!
One of my pastors when I lived in Virginia said that Judas could have knelt at the cross and begged forgiveness, and Jesus would have forgiven him. The pastor said that the repentance of Judas would have been a subject of much religious art.
