The Beast Revelation

The Beast Revelation

This letter is dedicated to all Christians.

The following letter is a summary of Revelation 13. Its purpose is to show the method used in finding the conclusions which have been stated. Nothing new has been added from my previous letters. It is more of a compilation of them all. This writing is the same material in different words. The Bible uses this same method of explanation. There are four Gospels. In each you see a different view of the same material. This can be beneficial because the meaning becomes more exact. Although, if this is a first time reader, then this will all be news to you. With that in mind, here we go.

The first thing that should be addressed when doing any study of Bible prophecy is what questions do I intend to answer. Some of these questions can seem a little simplistic, but their answers are much more complicated. In my studies there were only a few questions that I saw as needing an answer. My questions were very simple. First, who is this individual who is identified by the number 666? Second, who is the false prophet and how does he make the whole world worship the beast whose number is 666. Another question has to do with these same individuals. Could these two individuals be the same person, or for that matter Satan himself? Where is Satan during all this? That last question is very important. It actually goes straight to the answer of all the questions. Finally, when would someone expect to see these individuals on the Earth? Literally, what time frame should I see them? Those are the questions. The answers are much more involved.

This narrative will attempt to show how the answers are figured out. These answers can be seen from events that happen in the nightly news. This leads me to a key, which most of us know, but most of us forget. The Bible is a history book. Some events have happened, while some are waiting to happen. It is the ones that have not happened that we are most concerned with. Here is another key. By the way, these keys I speak of are keys to understanding. The Lord spoke in parables. The reason he gave was that it was for some to know the mysteries of God, while it was for some to know not. In hearing, they do not hear. In seeing, they do not see. I compare it to telling the truth, while hiding it at the same time. Many of the parables that the Lord spoke he immediately gave an answer to. He showed how he used certain symbols and words to describe subjects and then gave their meanings. Now for the punch line. The Lord also spoke in parables that he did not identify. These parables go straight to the hidden meaning of these end times. Another key is word substitution. An example of this is a pretty well-known item from Revelation. This word substitution deals with Revelation 13:1. The beast has seven heads and ten horns. In Revelation 17 those heads and horns are defined. The heads are identified as mountains, while the horns are identified as kings. This changes the whole picture of what the beast is symbolically to what it is literally. Now Rev.13:1 can be read as follows with just the items discussed thus far. And I saw a beast rise up out of the sea having seven mountains and ten kings. That is a simple and easy word substitution. Know that this will happen many times throughout the Bible.

Now, getting back to the questions. The question is, where is Satan? If this question can be answered, you can eliminate some others. Some prophecy teachers believe that Satan is the beast, or that Satan is the false prophet. This interpretation is misleading, and it also creates a stumbling block in the path to a proper interpretation. I almost always get this question. How can you know who the beast is when he cannot be revealed? 2nd Thess. Chapter 2 states that he cannot be revealed, until something is removed first. Most scholars have this part right. That is a picture of the Rapture. What they have wrong is that Satan and the beast are not the same individual. Satan cannot be revealed until after the rapture, but he is not the beast. Therefore, I can identify the beast and his false prophet. People say prove it. So I did. I told them how to understand using the keys that I have mentioned. Revelation 13 is a parable, but God is not giving the definition, or the explanation. This one is for us to figure out. Ok, so where is Satan? In the book of Job, we get a view of Satan’s abilities. In one scene, he is discussing with God about Job. Question, where is God? He is in heaven. Also, in his conversation with God Satan is talking as if he knows and has seen Job. God declares that he can do whatever he wants to Job, but he was not allowed to kill him. Now we know something else about Satan. He also has access to the Earth, and can affect peoples lives. So, it appears that Satan can be everywhere he wants to be, on Earth or in heaven. We know Satan and his angels will be cast out of heaven as per Revelation 12. This would further the idea that he is now in heaven. We also see Satan one other time, when he tempted Christ during his time on Earth. It says that he was taken to the wilderness to be tempted of Satan? Most people, and rightly so, have thought the wilderness to be a place on Earth, but this is a parable I believe. The Lord was in the wilderness and was tempted by Satan, but the wilderness is in heaven. This parable is read in Isaiah 35. It is the wilderness and the solitary place where the redeemed of the Lord walk. So, this last item being the most hard to prove, suffice it to say, that when Rev.12 says Satan will be cast out, he must be there in heaven to be cast out. Alright, now we can answer a couple questions. One, Satan is himself, and he is in heaven. Therefore, he is not the beast or the false prophet. These three work together, but each has his own identity.

Now to dissect Revelation 13. As I have already stated, Revelation 13 is a word substitution parable. The seven heads are seven mountains and the ten horns are ten kings. Ok, we know from this description that the beast as described is a group of possibly ten countries. This brings me to another point. There are three definitions for the beast in Revelation 13. The first is a group of countries rising up out of the sea. The second is in Rev.13:11 and is a beast with two horns (kings). Remember horns are kings as per Rev. 17. Finally, there is a beast who is identified by the number 666. It is this last beast that causes all to receive a mark and that no man can buy and sell save he who has the mark, his number, or his name. There are three items here. Nowhere does it say that the mark is the number 666. This might have been a good guess 20 yrs. ago , but it is pretty hard to believe. Imagine people running around with a mark of 666 on their right hands. It sounds like a cartoon, but this is what the prophecy teachers want you to believe. Ok, another problem that sounds like a cartoon is the interpretation of the word “all.” They want you to believe that no man could buy or sell if they did not worship the beast and take his mark. Interpreting the word “all” to mean everyone in the world. This is not the case. For one, we know that the beast is made up of only possibly ten countries. Everyone in this world lives in roughly 190 countries. I don’t think we could possibly mean everyone. How about, all of those people concerned with the mark. Also, how do you cause all people concerned to receive a mark, and why? The most obvious way to mark everyone is at the voting booth. All people, rich and poor, small and great, or free and bond are potential voters. So, Mahmoud Abbas was elected president of the Palestinian Authority, and in the process all voters received an indelible ink mark on their right hands. This mark was to prevent double voting and corruption in the election. Ok, we have a mark. It is not 666. At this point he fits the part, but not completely. Still, there is no ready identification of 666 concerning him. This election was in January 2005.

Back to Rev.13. We have seven mountains and ten kings. Prophecy teachers want us to believe that a city with seven mountains is the seat of the antichrist and he rules with ten nations. Their logical conclusion was the Europe Union and the Vatican. This started the revived Roman empire theory. This theory has been around since the reformation. It is hard to believe this charade has gone on so long. Teachers are still preaching the Revived Roman Empire. This theory had some validity before the twentieth century and now has to be eliminated. None of these teachers could have predicted the fall of the Ottoman Empire and its division into so many separate sovereign nations. Back to our word substitution. There is an interesting item here concerning the word mountains in scripture. The word mountains can have two meanings. It can be either a mountain range, or a nation. This is the hardest part of this whole exercise, trying to figure out what mountains are describing. Teachers will have you believe it is a city with seven mountains. In actual fact, mountains here are referring to nations. This also pertains to the head wound. The wound was not a literal head wound at all, but was a nation that was wounded. The beast’s head or nation was wounded and was healed. This is the Palestinian Authority after the beginning of the Oslo Accords. The land that Israel possessed was now being given back to the Palestinians and the beast’s nation is being healed. Ok, so now I have seven nations and ten kings, Rev.13:1. Why do I have three more kings than nations? It seems I have a king for each nation, but three left over. In Daniel in says the beast subdued three kings. These three kings don’t necessarily have to be from different countries. It seems so, but is not expressly mentioned. It is another parable. The three kings who were subdued by the beast were Israeli Prime Ministers. These three Prime Ministers all served during the seven years of the Oslo Accords and were voted out of office because of terror perpetrated during Yasser Arafat’s rule. Now, I am down to seven nations. These seven nations will wage war. I can easily see seven nations that will wage war here very soon; Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Iran and the Palestinian Authority or Iraq, and there opponent Israel. This is exactly the same beast that is presented in Rev.17:10, just in a slightly different appearance. There are seven kings, five are fallen. This means five kings were defeated in war. Israel is referred to the “one that is,” and the one that came later is the Palestinian Authority. This is a description of Israel’s war for Independence. Literally, this was the beast being born. The war in 1967 is the beast rising up out of the sea in Rev.13:1. It was the unresolved issues of this conflict that resulted in the Oslo Accords of 1993. This seven year peace treaty was confirmed by Yitzhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat.

Now, there is another beast in Rev.13:11. This beast has two horns or kings. This is a picture of the Palestinian Authority after the elections of January 2006. This is when Hamas ran in the elections and won a majority in parliament. Now the P.A. was a country with two kings. Abbas was the President and Ismail Haniyeh was the Prime Minister. Here is where the problem with money came about. Western Nations did not want to donate money to a known terrorist organization so looked for a way they could still fund Abbas’s P.A., but not let any money get to Hamas. This is when the number 666 identified an individual. The temporary international mechanism was adopted on June 16, 2006. This program allowed Western Nations to donate funds directly to Abbas, while bypassing Hamas. If you were a member of Fatah, or on Abbas’s payroll you got paid. This is how the people were allowed to buy and sell. They received salaries, whereas before the mechanism, they had no way of getting paid from the Government. Hamas did not receive salaries. Also, Hamas did not receive the mark of the beast. They boycotted the elections for President in Jan. 2005.
It is more obvious who is being talked about the closer you get to the end.

In conclusion, to my three beast definitions. Mahmoud Abbas fits all three definitions. He was a member of the P.A. when it was formed. He took over from Yasser Arafat after his death. He was one of the two kings of the second beast in Rev.13:11. Lastly, he is the one identified by the number 666, which could have been Arafat had he lived.

Now, concerning the false prophet. The following four verses below all refer to the false prophet, Ismail Haniyeh.

Rev.13:11- and I beheld another beast coming up out of the Earth, and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
Rev.13:12- And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them which dwell therein, to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
Rev.13:13- “And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the Earth in the sight of men”.
Rev.13:15- And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast, should be killed.

Hamas exercised all the power of the first beast (Abbas’s P.A.) because they were now an equal partner in the Government. Also, the leader of Hamas caused them to worship or honor the first beast because Hamas would not honor the first beast. The first beast was the PA without Hamas as a member. The image of the beast is what the Government of Mahmoud Abbas represented. Verse 12 does not mention the image yet, we are just informed that the false prophet caused them to worship the first beast. Verse 14 and 15 gives the details of how that worshipping or honor was to commence. An image was created of the first beast that he (the false prophet) caused to be honored. This image of the beast is three items; the recognition of Israel, the honoring of all prior Palestinian agreements, and a renunciation of terror.

The last question I think that needs addressed is how do you know the timing is right? Meaning, there have been so many translations, how do you know that this one is correct? This is a question I always get asked. The answer, in my mind, is sort of a mix between two different prophecies. The first is the seven day prophecy as recorded in Genesis. It is a similitude between this and the amount of recorded time that has already happened on Earth. In the book of Peter, God says one day to him is as a thousand years. If that idea is applied to the Genesis creation, everyday that God created something one thousand years passed. Finally, on the last day he rested from his work, and his rest was one thousand years or one of God’s days. This was one full week or 7000 years. After God’s rest he started his work again, and he created Adam. Starting with Adam, it was approximately 4000 years to the time of Christ. Also, we know that Christ was here roughly 2000 years ago. If God was to be consistent with his one week schedule, then we could expect his day of rest to fall somewhere after the year two thousand. 4000 plus 2000 is six days and on the seventh he rested for one thousand years. This is not an exact estimate, but it can put you in the right ballpark when searching for the correct timing of Revelation. This is the estimate. The next item is more exact. Daniel 9:27 says that he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week. Many in Hebrew is Rab. This was a covenant confirmed with Yitzhak Rabin. It was the beginning of land for peace, or the Oslo Accords. When you see this agreement happen you should be aware that this prophecy will last seven years. There is only one problem with this item. Prior to it happening, everyone thought that the end of the seventh year of the agreement God would return and begin his rest. Well, that did not happen. The reason was a logical misinterpretation. It just mentions that this agreement must occur along with the prophecies mentioned, not that they would all happen and end on the last day of the seventh year. This has thrown everyone watching off-course for a time. Although, this was not such a terrible mistake if the watcher could see the right answer and get his, or her perspective back. When you have these two items coinciding at the expected time, then you know Revelation can be interpreted with accuracy. The events should start happening, as they have, as I have recorded in this letter.

May God bless all who read this letter.

Michael

Peace to all,

The sign of the beast is the soul without the manifesting power of the Holy Spirit for becoming again. The Power of teh holy Spirit allows the becoming again from the power of teh spirit manifesting only one set of undefiled order that never fails and is the unfailing Will of the Father, viewable from the eyes of the beholders and we know not to judge others but only through the autonomy of the Holy Spirit to be able to stand self-righteous and justified before God to becoming through both natures becoming again in One Family.

Mary was annunciated and Her Pentecost, The Pentecost of the Mother of God, when in 0 A.D. Mary said, “Let not my will but Your Will be done.” By a singular Grace from God Mary is the first person on earth in the mind of God from the Holy Spirit through Her Immaculate flesh for the New Eve becoming the Christ in all mankind.

To me what we can buy or not on earth it is not an eternal earth, logically, about the beast? When the prisoners were thrown to the Lions, some of them were not even eaten. Jesus said what is it to you that he remain alive until I return, follow me.

The Catholic Bible is 72 books of which all books relate through all the wondrous mysteries of the faith and the sacraments from death to life, in both natures, spirit, and life including baptism and penance confirmation holy orders sacrament of the sick and The Eucharist and marriage.

To me no one can understand the beast unless we also have understanding in the Holy Spirit logically in both resurrection natures from spirit through life become again in understanding the OMNILogical God.

To me, the spirit manifestation is what becomes through the soul for the flesh to become again through both spirit and life. The beast is the spirit power manifestation of choice from created failed from the spirit through the souls of all becoming into the spirit selected from choice.

The beast is the image created from the spirit selected to become again.

Beast be gone, How?

OMNILogically, The true unfailing intelligence of fulfilled creation is the Will of the Father becoming again in all reimaged becoming again One God in being One Holy Spirit Family.

From created choice is created the choice to love or not to love becoming to only love and to love with only the most love becoming again One God in being One Holy Spirit Family, anything else is beast.

To properly understand the beast is to realize logically the first spirit comes from and blows to anywhere, to become again by the manifestation through the spirit power becoming the image of the selected father or spirit. Rationally there are many spirit “beasts”. But the Holy Spirit comes from Heaven and returns from where the Holy Spirit manifests through the power becoming again, One Holy Spirit Family in being One God in Heaven.

Who is “Our Father.”

Peace always,
Stephen

Welcome Michael!

Some believe this individual who is identified by the number is Emperor Nero. There are early manuscripts of Revelation that record the beast’s number as 616, leaving off a number 50 in the equation, while others record the number as 666 (Nun (50) + Resh (200) + Waw (6) + Nun + (50) Qop (100) + Samekh (60) + Resh (200) = 666 (which spells “Caesar Nero” in Aramaic or Hebrew: NRWN QSR.

Both the Aramaic and ancient Hebrew alphabets are very similar and did not include vowels.

The 616 translation is from a different spelling of Nero Caesar, removing one of the consonants Nun: NRW QSR.

This is not to say that there cannot be a spiritual interpretation of others whom the mark of the beast can represent, but the possible literal interpretation is likely referring to Emperor Nero (who was around during the time of St. John).

I do want to say that I love the title of your post! It is a nice play on words. And again, welcome to the forum : )

I don’t believe that argument to be very compelling. You ask me to believe what a historian from ancient history believed, or my own eyes. When you make this statement, there are questions that must be answered.
What was the mark, and how did it help them to buy and sell?
Who was the second beast who caused them to worship the first beast? I never hear that part explained. What caused fire to come from the sky in the site of the beast? I have many other questions that need answers. This is just the start. Nothing of the historical view makes any sense unless you can answer some of these questions. What it is to me, an answer such as this, is a way for someone to shut their mind to what’s real, and become blind. If it’s already happened, why even think about it at all. This is the classic bait and switch. We throw as much doubt around as we can, then maybe the folks won’t ask any questions. Who gains from that?

I find the proposed interpretation I laid out more convincing than the one that you proposed (and I mean no disrespect towards you). Again, there can be multiple spiritual meanings to Sacred Scripture, but what I am looking at here is what is the likely literal interpretation of this Sacred text.

I will give you what a well-known Catholic apologist says in regards to your questions. Again, his view is not the only view on this topic (as we see you clearly have another interpretation, as do many other Christians). I’m not here to say which is correct and which is not correct, but rather which theory makes the most sense to me.

This could be referring to Nero’s successor Galba or Otho. Otho even referred to himself as Otho Nero, letting everyone know that he was continuing to Nero model. Or it could be referring to any future emperor who desires to be worshiped.

And another clue that John was giving us an equation was that in chapter 13, verse 18, he says, “Wisdom is needed here; one who understands can calculate the number of the beast, for it is a number that stands for a person.”

Some view the mark of the beast as a tattoo or a branding.

But, on a spiritual sense, Jimmy Akin points out that Revelation 14 mirrors or parallels Ezekiel 9; where angels are sent out to mark the righteous and other angels will be sent out to destroy the unrighteous.

The Psalm of Solomon 15:8, written in around the 1st or 2nd century BC, originally written in Hebrew or Aramaic, refers to this righteous mark, “For the mark of God is upon the righteous that they may be saved.” This book is pseudepigraphal and is not included in the Cannon of Scripture, but it does reiterate what is written in Ezekiel.

In all three of these books, there are two marks. In the Book of Revelation, there is the mark of the beast in chapter 13, and there is the mark of the righteous in chapter 14.

Some of the Early Church Fathers described this righteous mark as an “x” or a cross on the forehead (Revelation 14:1). The ancient Hebrew word used for “mark” was actually represented by the 22nd, and last, letter of the Hebrew alphabet, which looks like an “x”.

So, in a spiritual sense, the righteous mark is the symbol for Christ. It does not literally mean that the saved will have actual tattoos on our foreheads (I mean if you want to have a tattoo artist trace your Lenten ashes, that is up to you, but I would not recommend it for a few reasons : )

Nor will the mark of any future beasts likely be physical marks, but rather a spiritual mark (unless one worships technology, then it might be a micro-chip ; )

Whom do you worship? Whom is your God? This is what determines which mark the angels will place on our foreheads.

If the mark is needed in order to buy and sell, I think it must not be a solely spiritual mark: any merchant must be able to discern it. As for tattoos on the forehead, when I was working at the National Guard Bureau, on one Ash Wednesday a captain I worked with saw a guy with ashes on his head and thought he had gotten a tattoo. The captain was about to point out that a forehead tattoo was forbidden, because even though she went to a church that gives ashes, she forgot about Ash Wednesday. At the National Guard Bureau on Ash Wednesday and some holy days, there would be a well-attended midday Mass in the auditorium. It was a thrill to see so many people I worked with at Mass.

Correct. There was an Emperor Decius in year 250 who was requiring people to get a permit in order to buy and sell. Jimmy Akin goes on to say, “The condition for the permit was that you had to set out incense pans in public spaces and you had to be willing to, with your hand, take some incense, throw it into the incense pan and burn incense or sacrifice” to false Roman gods for the Emperor’s well-being. It was a loyalty test and there were Christians who were persecuted for refusing to comply.

Could a future “beast” require us to have a permit to buy and sell. I believe we already have this in America. Government fines little girls for having a lemonade stand on the sidewalk without a permit.

And with technology, surely we will be forced to use whatever systems future beasts put into place, though they will make it appear voluntary.

We’ve seen what happens to individuals who want to use other currency (that does not have the Emperors’ face on it) to buy & sell. Ross Ulbricht received two life sentences for creating a truly free-market e-commerce website. Thankfully President Trump pardoned Ross on day-two of his second term. Because Trump kept his word to Libertarians, Ross is now free and home with his Family.

That’s funny : )

It truly is! I often Pray for the conversion of everyone at Masses where many of these individuals normally might not regularly attend Church, but for whatever reason, they felt called to humbly enter the doors on that particular occasion. Move in them O Holy Ghost. Lead them to a closer relationship with You. (I only recently began using the title Holy Ghost interchangeably with Spirit, after my Trad-Cat friends and Mormon friends use it. Here is a thread about that : )

I think that licensing may sometimes be excessive (as in the case of lemonade), but I think that Revelation means that no one will be able to by or sell anything without first accepting the mark of the Beast.

I think the biggest mistake you make is inferred in post number seven, where you say that all people will not be able to buy and sell unless they have the mark. I’ve been trying to make the point, that it cannot be referring to everyone on Earth. Rev. 13:1 notes that the beast will have seven heads and ten horns. The seven heads and ten horns are explained in Rev.17. The ten horns are kings, and the seven heads are mountains. If you say that the ten horns are countries, then how would the beast control the other 182 countries here on Earth to prevent them from buying and selling? The beast clearly does not control all peoples. He does control his people, and he tries to control the other nine kings also. Having said that, you are wanting Nero to be the beast, not someone in the present. So, my question to you is who were the other nine kings that Nero controlled when he rose to power? You say his name stands for 666, but what other countries does he control to account for the ten of Rev.13?

Maybe it is referring to Trump’s tariffs; if other Countries want to buy and sell, they must bend the knee to Emperor Trump ; )

I’m only kidding.

The book of Revelation was written prior to 70 A.D. Revelation was likely written during the reign of Galba (Nero’s successor, who reigned about seven months) and prior to the destruction of the Jewish temple.

Another clue that Revelation is likely referring to the emperors of Rome, who ruled in and around the time that Revelation was written, is that St. John says at both the beginning (1:1) and the end (22:6) that this book is referencing to “what will happen soon.”

Jimmy addresses this as well, “We’re told that the seven heads of the beast represent both seven mountains or hills and seven kings. of course, Rome is famously built on seven hills.” (And for those who think this is referring to the Catholic Church, as some Evangelicals read into it, Jimmy points out that Vatican Hill is not one of these.)

“Vatican Hill is on the wrong side of the Tiber River to be one of the seven hills of Rome. Then the seven heads we’re told five of them have fallen. One is and one is yet to come and will reign only a short time of the seven kings (again, likely referring to Emperor Galba, who only rained for about seven months). The first five Roman emperors were Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius and Nero. So those would be the five who have fallen.”

Another fun fact is that The book of Daniel (chapter 7 specifically) mirrors John’s prophesy in Revelation, where Daniel describes four beasts, depicted both as four kings (verse 17) and four kingdoms (verse 23).

Again, I’m not trying to discredit your interpretation nor am I personally attacking you as a person. Please do not take it this way. I am simply sharing with readers another possible interpretation on this topic that I do find fascinating.

Akin has said the following: "Prophecy can refer to more than one thing (i.e., have more than one fulfillment). Thus in Revelation the Beast from the Sea’s seven heads are both seven mountains and seven kings (Rev. 17:9-10).

We see the same thing in other prophecies, which can have more than one fulfillment. For example, Isaiah’s prophecy of Emmanuel had a near-term fulfillment in the birth of a child in the time of King Ahaz–something that is obvious because the sign was given to him as a sign that the alliance of kings against him would not succeed in toppling him from his throne (see Isaiah 7:1-16)."

Peace to all,

Logically and rationally, we know not to be confused, and Mary preexisted as an eternal power and God equal in the power of God and together with the Father and The Son, One Holy Spirit Family One God in being. Mary is logically God of Transformation becoming Flesh immortality “Reborn” for all mankind in the New Eve in all mankind. Mary is Co-Redemptive from the Holy Spirit through the souls of all for the flesh as God of Mercy, and Transformation God transforming all from the Immaculate Conception through the Virgin Birth of Her Son, Co-Rdeemptive from the Holy Spirit Incorruptible God of Glorification and Transfiguration, Jesus, God of Justice for all in the Christ becoming again glorified and transfigured and reimaged “Saved” One Holy Spirit Family One God in being in all mankind. We are “Saved” For all becoming again through Mary’s Son Jesus through the Christ becoming again in all mankind, One Holy Spirit Family One God in being.

The mark of the beast is logically manifested by powers of anything but the Will of Creation fulfilled and rationally and can only be realistically from the first failed spirit through the souls of the the first man and woman, Adam and Eve and the continued unrepentant unbelievers. The Body in manifesting by failed defiled and riddled with internal temptation powers anything but the Will of the Father becomes the selected image. The beast, the first spirit comes from failed choice in not accepting the Created Love from the Father. The Father’s Will is to love and to love with only the most love becoming again in all. And if by choice choosing to not love, the failed spirit of choice comes from and blows to anywhere. And we know The Holy Spirit comes from Heaven and blows back from where the Holy Spirit Came, heaven, to become again, One Holy Spirit Family, through all of the Wondrous Mysteries of the Faith through the Christ becoming again in all, One Holy Spirit Family. The failed choice is anything but to love. Fulfilled eternal spirit and life is to love and to love only with the most love becoming again, One Family of God. If we logically remove any teachings of the Christ from the Bible salvation is rationally compromised. And we know not to judge others or preach or proselytize, only to generalize for all logically and rationally and through the Faith of Abraham for all becoming again from the spirit through the souls of all becoming again in One Body, both natures, spirit and life, One Holy Spirit Family One God in being. And through the autonomy of the Holy Spirit we know how to stand self-righteous and justified before Him to become again. Baptism allows all through the New Eve of immortality and Baptism and Penance are The Sacraments of Death to life from the Holy Spirit through the souls of all in the Christ becoming again, through Communion with Him and hearing the words of Absolution forgiven from Confession and Forgiven through Sacrifice we are Confirmed and re-Sanctified to become again, glorified and transfigured through both natures, spirit and life, from the Holy Spirit Family One God becoming again One God in being. The Protestant bible allows Baptism and Penance and has left out some Sacraments, and we know the Bible is a reference book and the Inspired Word of God. The Protestant Bible has the Books in number 66, 6 have been taken away and removed from the Catholic Bible which has 72 books. If we truly believe in everything Christ taught on Earth, not even the world could contain the teachings of the Christ and we go to the Teaching Church as Catholic for all answers, trusted and verified though the logical formulas of The Wondrous Mysteries of the Faith, becoming again through Both Natures, from the Holy Spirit through the souls of all in the Christ becoming again, One Holy Spirit Family, One God in being.

Silly silly beast be gone, please.

Silly-logically, The beast is nothing more than manifestation power of an improperly selected spirit of choice becoming again anything but the Will of the Father. And we know, rationally, OMNILogically, we all know not to be silly, and only select the Will of The Fulfilled Infallible intelligence logic manifesting through the Power of the Holy Spirit Family One God in being, becoming again in all.

Logically we are created from The Father failed from the corruptible spirit for the souls of all through mortal flesh to become Baptized from the spirit through the souls of all for the flesh to become into the Co-Redemptive New Eve of immortality by the living Waters of Baptism. And Co-Redemptive is Jesus for all From Penance and Sacrifice from the Christ, The New Adam becoming again glorified and transfigured One Holy Spirit Family One God in being.

Here we logically follow the three powers of the Universe, From the Father through the Mother for the Son in the Christ for all becoming again, OMNILogically One Holy Spirit Family One God in being.

What here in the Trinty properly defined realistically, can we not see logically, rationally, OMNILogically, to One Holy Spirit Family One God in being?

36 For from him and through her and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.

We know not to worry about the beast, for all becoming again, One Holy Spirit Family One God in being together.

Logically, how many Books are in the Catholic Bible?

Peace always,
Stephen

I am compiling a book on the meaning of salvation history and in dwells heavily in Apocalypse but uses idealism and spiritual historicism.

Here are some ideas that I have in an article in the homiletic and pastoral review called Armageddon and the Kings from the East, probing the meaning of strife

The Dragon, the Beast and the False Prophet, Apocalypse 13

It seems appropriate that the dragon, beast, and false prophet can image a diabolical Trinity. In fact, this works well, not only in the context of preterism, but also idealism. Let us explore it. Clearly, if the dragon is the “father of lies,” the beast can be seen as the incarnation of these lies in human history in any age that is largely opposed to God. The false prophet can then image these lies, spoken between the dragon and beast, in much the same way in which the Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son. For reference, in the article on the Ecclesiology of the Loaves and Fishes
(Sacramental Ecclesiology in the Loaves and Fishes - Homiletic & Pastoral Review)

I saw the two horns of the false prophet as the two great lies of the fall themselves, recycled in all ages of sin, summarizing, in their principles, all that has ever been wicked or will be:

Anti-Baptismal Disposition: The antithesis of the Baptismal disposition: no faith, no repentance. Seek not to know, love, and serve God in this life. Rather, believe as you wish and do as you wish. Don’t listen to God or any claimed revelation from God, whether by man or book. Decide for yourself what is true. And don’t do what God has told you to do, or what any claimed Revelation of God has told you to do. Rather, do what you want, whatever is convenient. You will be better off in all these things.

Anti-Marital Disposition toward God: As for seeking your ultimate fulfillment in marrying your Creator in the next life, rubbish! Rather, seek your ultimate fulfillment in figurative fornication with the creation, in this life—materialism—seeking your ultimate goal in this world, rather than the next!

Moving on, one can find profound meaning in the shore, the sea, and the earth. More specifically, the dragon takes his position on the shore, the (first) beast in the sea, and the false prophet (second beast) on the earth. We have seen in that same article just referenced that the earth is like a foundation, the Church, the pillar and “ground” of truth. (1 Tim. 3:15) The sea is a place of chaos, heresies and lies, tossing man to and fro. The shore would seem to be somewhere in the middle—part lies and part truth.

In this view, the devil, who takes his position on the shore (conclusion of Apocalypse 12) can be seen to hide behind half-truth, confounding the world with ideologies and ideas that have some truth and some falsehood, much like the extremes of right and left, each of which has some good and some bad. From this, total godless indifference arises: the beast from the sea. This could image the objective reality of godlessness. It has no foundation, only lies, and in the end, it will be tossed and drowned to its death.

This is in contrast to the second beast, the false prophet, who, rather than taking residence in the sea, like the first beast, arises from the earth. How would we see this? Well, it is initially very problematic. Why? Well, it is an issue because the earth is a true foundation of truth and grace, whereas the false prophet, on the other hand, who images the very lies of the fall themselves, is in no way a foundation.

In fact, the lies of the false prophet, which govern the beast from the sea, appropriately lead to the death and annihilation of the sea. Ah! But alas, this is perfect imagery! What does the dragon do except present his lies as good? Yes! That is exactly how the dragon portrays his ultimate lies from the fall! He presents his complete lies as though they are the complete truth! Hence, the false prophet, the fullness of deception, presents itself as the fullness of truth and stability: it stands on the earth and masquerades as though it has its origin in truth (it comes out of the earth). Therefore, the result is that the total lies of the devil, which spell both physical and spiritual doom for humanity, (the objective sea of death, the first beast) are presented as a supreme foundation for prosperity and peace (the subjective lie of placing them upon the earth, the second beast). Expectedly, the deception takes root in humanity, harshly verbalized in the same Apocalypse 13: “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with it? “ (Apoc. 13) Translation: “Behold, we have a supreme materialistic power and grandeur, and we have no need of God or religion. What will stop us from the ultimate paradise, or utopia?” Interestingly, this strikingly resembles Babel, where God says, “There will be nothing they shall not be able to do.” (Gen11:6)

The Frogs, Unclean Spirits

I would now like to offer what I feel to be a profound interpretation of our initial Scripture quotation from chapter 16 that supports where we have gone so far, and this, an analysis of the frogs, or unclean spirits, which emerge from the mouths of the diabolical trinity in the concurrent scene of the kings from the east (the sixth bowl of wrath). Obviously, we have to interpret Scripture in light of other Scripture and Tradition. Toward that end, we ask, have we seen frogs before in Scripture?

Absolutely! More specifically, frogs were considered divine by the Egyptians. Hence, man, looking down upon a mere animal, elevates it in delusion to a higher place in the hierarchy of existence than himself.

This is utterly profound. How? In the sense that if the man puts himself in the place of the frog relative to God, we get Lucifer and self-deification. What do we mean? We mean that, if man descends down to the place of the frog, and likewise puts God down to his former place, then the parallel situation introduces the first lie of the fall—“you shall be like gods, knowing good and evil”—meaning, if man elevated the frog immeasurably above himself, then, when man is a frog, he elevates himself immeasurably above God! Hence, man is deifying himself by associating himself with the frog.

Secondly, the frog has a peculiar a nature: it is amphibious, that is, able to live on land or water. From the standpoint of our earth/sea analogy, we saw that man can only truly live in peace and prosperity on the “earth,” the foundation of the truth and grace of God, which are the teachings and sacraments of the Church. On the other hand, we also saw the contra-positive: without the earth of truth and grace, man will drown in the ocean of lack of love and truth, tossed to and fro by the deceptive and harmful ideologies, ultimately slaughtering one another without the foundation of morals.

Hence, per the first deception above—man telling himself that is he like a frog—he is deluded and deceived into thinking that he can live, spiritually, on the earth or the water. Bingo! Man thinks he can live without God and morals and still have the foundation of peace and prosperity. He won’t drown: the lie of the false prophet above!

To conclude, the seduction of the frogs tells humanity that they can preserve the foundation of peace and prosperity without regard for God, and His truths and laws, and merely with materialistic power and dominion, with merely secular means. The CCC corroborates this, in saying that the modern form of secular messianism is a perverse lie of the “antichrist.”

The Antichrist’s deception already begins to take shape in the world every time the claim is made to realize within history that messianic hope can only be realized beyond history, through the eschatological judgment. The Church has rejected even modified forms of this falsification of the kingdom to come under the name of “millenarianism” especially the “intrinsically perverse” political form of a secular messianism. (CCC 676)…

Peace to all,

Your analogy is confusing. Your writings are Vague having differences in logic and missing in your writings are what is created from the fall. What created a defiles creation that needed rebirth and salvation. None of this intelligence is conveyed in your messages. Confusion and mis nomenclatures are uncomprehendable in most cases of your writings.

So let me begin, thanks,
There is but One Christ add many anti-christs, logically.

Rationally, Man lives on earth and is manifested by the spirit choice which comes from creation and blows to anywhere.

Logically, Mankind is Created for the Body, the soul is created from the spirit for the flesh in One Body manifested by the Power of the spirit to become again.

Like the earth the body becomes again from the spirit like the sea manifesting at shore. The Power of the spirit manifests on the shore for the body, the earth. But it is not just one we life in all three at the same time. Logically we cannot separate the earth, the sea and the shore.

The Land, the sea and the shore, logically all become again as One Body through the two natures, the spirit manifesting the three, the land the sea and shore.

Creation comes from the Father through the Mother for the Son in the Christ becoming again in all One Holy Spirit Family One God in being.

Greater profundity with the beast

The Kings of the Beast Fulfill Private Revelation

Let us move on now to something we have not considered: the beast kings of Apocalypse 17. What do we mean? Well, it would be very appropriate to consider the Book of Revelation at the end of scripture to be the wonderful counterpart to Genesis in the beginning of scripture. In fact, we see that in both instances, the endpoints of each book are allegorical and symbolic and have massive implications for the meaning of human history as we have seen so far in this work. Let us cite the Scripture:

The beast, which thou sawest, was, and is not, and shall come up out of the bottomless pit, and go into destruction: …And here is the understanding that hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, upon which the woman sitteth, and they are seven kings: [10] Five are fallen, one is, and the other is not yet come: and when he is come, he must remain a short time. And the beast that was and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition. (Rv 17:8–11)

Now, a very key citation—St. Hippolytus testifies that the beast kings could be ages:

“Under the name of five kings who have fallen out of the seven, Blessed Hippolytus understands ages, of which five have already passed. The sixth, in which the Apostle saw this, is still going on, and the seventh age, which follows upon the sixth, has not yet come, but when it comes, it will not continue long…”7

For us, the meaning of “five have fallen” is self-evident: St John is himself writing at the close of the age of the First Coming of Christ, which means he is just beyond the fifth light of human history and barely into the sixth night, pagan Rome, making five ages of sin preceding him, as we saw with St. Augustine above. In fact, the beast kings are just our nights of the days of creation, as we insinuated earlier in this writing.

  1. The Fall and Noah’s Day of Wickedness

  2. The Tower of Babel

  3. PpEgyptian Enslavement

  4. Pre-Exile Jewish Apostasy from Old Law

  5. Maccabeean Persecution and OT Antichrist Antiochus Epiphanies

Admittedly, St Hippolytus does not seem to see an eighth age, even as St Augustine, from above, does not seem to see a literal eighth either. For now, we can concede the concern, seeing as, for ages, the Church has really only had one apostasy in view for Church history, the great apostasy from Public Revelation, which comes at the very end. When no intermediate, lesser apostasy has been in view until recently with a closer look at the approved [private] revelations, it is natural to see the eighth as something that must be purely figurative. However, now that we have a two-apostasy scenario for Church history from the mystics, one that seems more and more probable with time in conjunction with Church optimism amidst our darkness, the seventh and eighth kings can be seen as veritable ages in their own right. Consequently, the solution is immediate: the seventh that had not yet arisen in St John’s time is our modern minor godless day, and the eighth is the great apostasy.

With the above suggestion to make a literal eighth king plausible, and since the mystery of the kings in the Scripture suggests an eighth that arises again, all will fit as well.

The Beast Was, and is Not, and Will Be Again

“And the beast you saw was, and is not, and will be again…. And the beast that was and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition.” (Rv 17:8,11) The connotation of the eighth bringing one back to the first will now be seen as utterly profound. Let us work it out. Here, the comparison is between kings one and eight and days one and eight. Day one is like day eight, just as note one in music is like note eight, the octave. The eighth returns you to the first. Day one is Noah’s day, where the whole world is wicked, sparing a remnant. Similarly, in day eight, the time of the great apostasy, the world is also nearly fully wicked, sparing a remnant of good Gentile Catholics and the Jews who have converted.

Moreover, in day one, the world is destroyed by water and made anew, the beginning of the redemption of the world. In day eight, the world is destroyed by fire and utterly made new in the unending New Creation. (see 2 Pt 3:4–7)

Likewise, the beast kings bear the sense; the eighth phase of sin brings with it the image of a former king (And the beast you saw was, and is not, and will be again). Here, common sense says, use the first king. This does work best and is most profound, as follows.

Essentially, in the beginning, the fall “reigned” [“was”] in human history because, before the Flood, God had not, as of yet, intervened to redeem humanity in any significant sense; I believe that this lends itself to the notion that the fallen nature, having never felt the blow of any redemptive act of God, clearly held sway over the majority of man in Noah’s day (just prior to the Flood). Hence, in the first great darkness, the beast “was.”

But, beginning with the Flood, God’s first great act of redemption of humanity, the fallen nature ceased to be the prevailing force in human history, which is to say, the beast was “not.” How, may we ask? Well, beginning with the Flood, God dealt the first lethal blow to the fallen nature. When God intervened in this first redemptive action, the renewal of humanity was underway—the progressive stages that will draw greater spiritual goods from the manifestations of the fallen nature—and, as it were, caused the fallen nature to take a secondary role in the course of salvation history, so that, precisely because God is in the process of redeeming the human race, the beast “is not.”

How much more so was this true in St. John’s day, in that the fullness of redemption had come: the Christ. Therefore, all the more does the fallen nature take a back seat to the spread of the Gospel. Consequently, especially in St. John’s day, “the beast is not.”

However, that the fallen nature is both wounded and secondary to God’s redemptive process, it does not abrogate the fact that the fallen nature still manifests itself in the punctuated stages of resistance along the way, so that kings still rise and fall after the first (like the successions of darkness and light in our days of creation), who was, again, “primary.” These secondary kings are then the intervening ones between one and eight. Subsequent nights of sin follow, but because God is redeeming humanity during the intermediate phases of sin, redemption still holds sway, that is, again, “the beast is not.”

However, when we reach king eight, the great apostasy, humanity’s culpability has reached its peak. The fall is back again to stay, effectively irredeemable. How? Let us probe it.

…

…

The Unforgivable Nature of the Great Apostasy

In the great apostasy, the world will come back to be like our modern age, and, for that matter, any of the great ages of sin before us. They will return to their former ways—just like Pagan Rome; just like the wicked Jews before the Babylonian exile; just like the blasphemous grandeur of Egypt in her pyramids, or Babel with its tower; just like Noah’s day, before the Flood, and so forth. They will be disrespectful of parents and authority, indifferent toward God and religion, complacent, superficial, drunken, using drugs, gossiping, bullying, slandering, vulgar, committing abortion and euthanasia, sexually immoral in all ways—cohabitation, promiscuity, artificial birth control, divorce, sodomy—greedy, dishonest, fraudulent, and on and on. But they will have no excuse.

How? Well, the world will have had two great dimensions placed before them in the past age precedent to this final apostasy:

        The powers of this world

The powers of the age to come

More specifically, we know that the powers of this world are not enough to bring lasting peace and prosperity to humanity. “With man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.” (Mt 19:26) “In the condition of the fallen nature, it is morally impossible for man, without restoring grace, to fulfill the entire moral law and to overcome all serious temptations for any considerable period of time.” (Sent. certa.) 8

Without the knowledge Revelation gives of God we cannot recognize sin clearly and are tempted to explain it as merely a developmental flaw, a psychological weakness, a mistake, or the necessary consequence of an inadequate social structure, etc. Only in the knowledge of God’s plan for man can we grasp that sin is an abuse of the freedom that God gives to created persons so that they are capable of loving him and loving one another.9

“God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for…For if man exists, it is because God has created him through love, and through love continues to hold him in existence. He cannot live fully according to truth unless he freely acknowledges that love and entrusts himself to his creator.”10

In fact, if humanity fully casts aside the powers of the age to come, that is, authentic religion and morals, yet still carries the powers of this world, the result will be catastrophic—incomprehensible horror. Man, when left to his own devices, will destroy himself. The secular sciences that study the rise and fall of empires fully vindicate this claim: for a time, societies that have no God or gods and no morals but great materialistic power, as in wicked empires and kingdoms with great physical wonders and such, can prosper internally and externally for a time. But eventually, the moral corruption catches up with them, and they come crashing down, destroying themselves from within. I also discussed this in the apocalypse essay here.11

…

…

Hence, this leaves us a law: the powers of this world, when divorced from the powers of the age to come, spell doom for the societies that make this terrible mistake. On the contrary however, when the powers of this world are fully united and reconciled to the powers of the age to come, authentic peace and prosperity becomes a wonderful reality.

These truths set the stage for the two great spiritual developments prior to the great apostasy, namely:

• The minor tribulation

• The Catholic age of peace

Here, the definitive apexes of moral lessons to humanity are made incarnate, never to be repeated:

In the minor tribulation, humanity will be shown its final learning lesson: when the world rejects the fullness of all God’s revelation and grace in exchange for a brute and perverse pursuit of this world, however powerful, however magnificent materially, they will learn, I sense—horribly, and in an epic and apocalyptic manner—the full implications of their errors, their sins, and their blindness. They will see their need—down to the last jot and tittle—for every single doctrine of faith and morals from our wounded, sinful, and yet beloved Church and see such need desperately from great pain, agony, and suffering. Toward this end, humanity will never again be ¹ to tell God that they didn’t know the way, that they didn’t know the consequences, and this, with the fullness of God’s revelation and love. Other lessons have been learned in history, to be sure, but never with the effectively complete set of doctrinal development behind it, at least the primary brunt of it, and throughout the near whole of the world—never again. Hence, if another such secularly messianic apostasy arises later, it will be without excuse.

And yet! Even with this, God is gracious, “long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Pt. 3:9) Our Divine Savior Jesus is not in the business of condemnation but salvation. “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” (Jn 3:17) Hence, far from condemning the wayward son who repents even far away, the Father runs to meet him and embraces Him with ineffable mercy. How sweet is the love and life forgiveness of the Infinite Father, Son and Spirit towards us sinners, who deserve eternal separation, but who are awarded the affection of a God who would rather forget we ever committed our transgressions, and invite us to love him forever in the wedding feast that shall never end.

Hence, the age of peace! Humanity repents, akin to how the Jews repented radically in the exile in their respective intermediate history, an exile that was a similar chastisement on their wickedness toward the Old Law, even as the Gentiles are now wicked toward the New Law in our own respective intermediate Church history. And what is even more marvelous is that in the age of peace, presumably, the powers of this world will not be lost. Indeed, and unfortunately for various reasons, the great powers of the world that were of Rome were largely lost in the Church’s transformation of Europe from spiritual darkness to light. For this reason, the modern world looks with disdain on Christendom, a phenomenon lasting from roughly 500 A.D. to 1700 A.D., seeing as temporal developments were lacking. Yes, for the most part, if it is true that today we have the powers of this world and not of the other, so in the Middle Ages and surrounding times, they had the powers of the other world but not this one. In the age of peace, they will have both! Science and faith, reason and faith—which our beloved Holy Father Emeritus Benedict persistently trumpets—are not in opposition to one another. In the age of peace, they will be fully reconciled, the fullness of both worlds’ wisdom and power.

…

Peace to all,

Truthfully and rationally, The beast is anything but fulfilled logical undeflied infallibly intelligence logic becoming again in all mankind One Holy Spirit One God in being

Mary’s divine nature is Flesh Immortality becoming the New Eve transformed in all mankind and Jesus’ divine nature is Holy Spirit Incorruption in the New Adam becoming The Christ in all mankind becoming again glorified and transfigured One Holy Spirit Family One God in being through both natures, OMNILogically.

We become once each from two natures, flesh immortalization and Holy Spirit Incorruption becoming again once in both natures, infallible and undefiled in One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, OMNILogically.

Jesus death becomes the New Living Sacrifice that transforms becoming flesh immortality from the Immaculate New Eve for the Virgin Birth of Jesus in the Christ through Holy Spirit Incorruption becoming again for all in One Holy Spirit Family One God in being.

Peace always.
Stephen

…

Note, there will still be the cross, those elements of physical evil and misfortune that cannot be eradicated from this fallen world that is ever “journeying toward perfection.”

…with infinite wisdom and goodness God freely willed to create a world “in a state of journeying” towards its ultimate perfection. In God’s plan this process of becoming involves the appearance of certain beings and the disappearance of others, the existence of the more perfect alongside the less perfect, both constructive and destructive forces of nature. With physical good there exists also physical evil as long as creation has not reached perfection.12

Nevertheless, despite the fact that the age of peace will still allow, presumably, disease, sickness, economic troubles, natural disasters, some poverty, and the like, the point is that there will be a civilization of love, per the hopes of the Church today flowing from the missionary call of Vatican II, and the hope of the renewed world of the Third Millennium. In this vein, though suffering of largely physical evil will persist, the world, being in a self-same renewed charity, will live in solidarity with others, and this will enable a true brotherhood of man—a world that more or less fully understands the material order as well as the spiritual, relative to what God desires humanity to know this side of the end of time. And this will last, at least temporarily, for as long as humanity chooses to keep a keen eye on the world that almost was not and to persevere in cooperation with the grace of God.

…

Consequently, precisely because the powers of this world, without God, brought unfathomable ruin, and, also because the powers of this world with God brought, love, peace and the best of both worlds, relatively speaking, humanity will have no other conclusion from brute and simplistic logic than to admit that the need for God is imperative to human well-being—that without it, no matter how much temporal advancement may be present, certain doom is inevitable.

So then, returning to the great apostasy, if the world goes back to godlessness and the powers of this world without the powers of the age to come after the age of peace, they simply can no longer say they have any mercy left from God in an apocalyptic sense. It will be, as it were, unforgivable historically. Here, one may object, God has persistently shown mercy on fallen civilizations. True, but this last civilization will do so with the fullness of divine revelation, and with a period of mercy already granted once in the minor tribulation. They will have taken the fullness of everything that God can give to a world on this side of the end of time and thrown it in God’s face. Once humanity issues the supreme insult upon the fullness of all that He has to give in this world, short only of eternity, nothing remains to remedy the situation.

Consequently, whereas any individual soul can always attain mercy in confession or the anointing, the world in a social structure, in a historical structure, will be unforgivable, and, dare we say, unrepentant.

Here, we can argue this on two counts. One, consider Hebrews 6. The text is referencing Jewish apostates and saying that, mostly likely, they won’t come back (it uses hyperbolic language). I think we can argue a similar context: “It is impossible for those [the world?] who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age , and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance.” (Heb 6:4–5) Secondly, “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” (Mt 24:22) Here, the connotation is clear: in the great apostasy and tribulation, if God did not intervene to end the world, the wicked world would destroy itself, since it is enmasse incurably unrepentant.

Consequently, to return to the discourse on the beast kings, when we reach the eighth beast king, or the great apostasy, then the fall, or the “beast,” is back, or “is again.” Humanity is, enmasse, both incurable and unforgivable historically. No further redemption of the fallen nature can be had within human history, saving the mass conversion of the Jews and that which is beyond the eschaton, the New Creation. Hence, the fall is back again, as it was in Noah’s day. It once again reigns in human history, casting out the Holy Spirit of redemption—getting St Augustine’s restrainer out the way.

And now you know what [the Holy Spirit, per St. Augustine] withholdeth, that he [Antichrist] may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity already worketh; only that he who now holdeth, do hold, until he be taken out of the way. And then that wicked one shall be revealed whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth; and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming, him, Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders, And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: That all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity. (2 Thes 2:6–11)

This, I argue, implies that once humanity rejects the fullness of divine redemption in history, which is the culmination of the Spirit, no further redemption becomes possible, so that the Holy Spirit is being irrevocably rejected, his restraining activity against iniquity being vanquished, bringing in the appearance of Antichrist. And that means, “the beast [is] again.” Hence, just as the fallen nature reigned in the beginning of human history (the fall and wickedness of Noah’s day) [the beast “was”], so the darkness reigns again at the close of human history, where all but a remnant of humanity are in rebellion against God [the beast “will be again”]. And so our theology is perfect.

…

The Eight Ages: a Deeper Theology

Now that have we have shown a perfect correlation between the ages of the world and the allegory of the creation and beast—poignant Scriptures at the beginning and close of the Written Tradition of God— we can once again argue that these ages perfectly fulfill the outline we gave of the abstract stages of the world established in the first part of the book.

That is, the first two phases of world history are the ages of the Fall digested and chastised one after the other; then the three great ages of the way of the saint for the prefiguring people; then the first coming of the Christ; then the way of the saint apocalyptically for the new people of God, followed by the second coming of Christ.

Hence 2 + 3 | 3, where the vertical bar symbolizes the separation between Old and New testaments.

Why Can the Church Still Rise? Why Now? Why Not in the Subsequent Darkness?

Our theology of the ages provides profound reasons why the Church can still emerge from our current darkness but not the next [at the end of time]. In short, the reason is that each People of God must reach “apocalyptic maturity” before the appropriate “coming of the Christ” can take place. And what should this maturity be? Well, how do we measure the maturity of the individual saint? Again, by the Ways! And if Jesus Christ himself is the ultimate of all holy persons of Old and New, the perfect type, how much more should our divine Savior—though Himself needing no redemption but nevertheless passing through the elements thereof (in order “to fulfill all righteousness” (Matt. 3:13–15; Luke 2:22–23)) –fill up these ways, even as, again, per St Augustine above, the three ages of the Jews are “declared in the Gospel”? For, where have we not in fact seen the threes:

Jesus fulfilled in his life and flesh the three ways so many times. For three days and three nights, Jesus lingered in the earth before rising. On the third day he arose from the dead, in accordance with the Scriptures. Christ fell three times in the way of the cross. Christ progressively prayed three times in the Garden to accept the will of his Father for the Passion. Three times Peter denied Christ, and three times He was reconciled (“Peter, do you love me?”). Three times Jesus spoke to Mary Magdalene at the tomb to open her eyes. For three days and three nights, Mother Mary and St. Joseph looked for the Christ before finding Him in the Temple.

And if these threes are filled up in Christ—and Christ’s literal Body is the Mystical Body of Christ, the Church—how much more so should the Church, the New People of God, fill up in Her flesh, the ways of the saint, so that, by way of implication, since the Church fulfills the People of Old, so, too, should the People of Old fill up these ways as well!

This unlocks a powerful explanation for why the Christ came when He did and why He will come back when He comes back. Toward that end, we have a powerful case from private revelation, from the theology of the ways, and from a systematic analysis of the Church’s doctrinal development thus far, that the Church is not at the end but is rather in “the dark night of the soul,” and I feel that that adequately resonates with the thinking and thought of many a wise person today in the Church.

…

Apocalyptic Blasphemy of the Divine Persons in the Ages

The final reason that I offer for the notion that the modern world is not fully culpable for its apostasy, so that the end-of-the-world condemnation is not yet warranted, is the idea of apocalyptic blasphemy against the persons of the Trinity. What do we mean? We mean that the three great phases of darkness for the ways—the dark night of the senses, the dark night of the soul, and martyrdom—can be seen as phases of progressive blasphemy against the self-same Divine Persons. Let us probe it.

Then he [Noah] sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground. 9 But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark. 10 He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark. 11 When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth. 12 He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him. (Gn 8:8–12)

What, you ask, does this passage concerning Noah and the dove have to do with blasphemy against the divine persons? Well, have patience, it will become apparent momentarily. To begin, the dove is sent out three times from the ark in the midst of the waters. The first tiame he returns with nothing and with nowhere to rest. The second time he returns with an olive branch. The third time he doesn’t return. The dove is clearly like the Holy Spirit. Here, then, the three moments of the dove are like the three ways.

  1. The Purgative Dark Night of Senses: Pagan Rome

  2. The Dark Night of the Soul: Our Modern Minor Secular Apostasy

  3. Martyrdom: The Great Apostasy and NT Antichrist

Each of these phases of darkness clearly represent the Holy Spirit “departing,” since when a great age of sin enters, man dispels the Holy Spirit. Consequently as well, when the dove returns it indicates a phase of light in our discourse. In two of these phases of darkness, the first two to be exact, the dove returns, that is, the Holy Spirit comes back, bringing renewal, whereas in the final departure, he does not return, indicating that renewal does not occur.

The Holy Spirit Returns After Pagan Rome

Noah releases the dove the first time, and it returns with nothing and nowhere to rest. In a similar vein, in Pagan Rome, the Holy Spirit went out the first time in Church History, and man blasphemed the Father because they said Caesar was greater than God Almighty. Indeed, pinching incense to Caesar was a primary litmus test in Christian persecutions many times. But God forgave the Empire, showing that Jesus leads the way: Constantine, Catholic Christendom. The dove, however, did not return with an olive branch, a symbol of peace, since in this first great age of Christianity, there has been no peace, no place for Christ to rest His head; bloodshed and division have been the lot of Christianity from its outset: Islamics killing Christians and Christians killing Islamics. Catholics killing Orthodox. Catholics burning heretics at the stake. Protestants killing Catholics, Catholics killing Protestants, and Protestants killing other types of Protestants. Protestants dividing into myriads of competing factions and mutually excommunicating all the others to hell. So again, there was no place for Jesus to rest his head in this first 1700 years of the Catholic history of light. Hence, the dove returns with no peace, no olive branch.

The Holy Spirit Will Return After Our Minor Apostasy, with Peace, an Olive Branch

In our modern minor apostasy, the Holy Spirit went out again; here, man blasphemes not the Father but the Son. How? Let us probe it:

Humanity, in light of the Son’s fallen disciples says: See, the Son’s disciples are all divided and against one another, with competing doctrines and worship and hatred toward each other, with their hypocrisy—crooked TV Evangelists, pedophile priests, and merciless Inquisitors. The Son’s disciples are confounded hypocrites. Therefore, we need not the Son. All we need is science and material development.

As we have seen, God shall forgive this in the coming minor chastisement of the mystics, where humanity will realize its need for the Son; this terrible ordeal will show them the true fruits of their errors and sins. They will realize their need for natural law (abortion, euthanasia, drugs, fornication, cohabitation, artificial birth control, divorce and remarriage, sodomy, and materialism are all grave moral evils that spell doom for the stability of society.). They will realize their need for a supernatural God (the deists and rationalists will realize that they cannot be fully moral without God’s help, even Jesus’, and that they need Divine Revelation to receive the fuller picture of truth, even the Bible). The Protestants will realize their need for central, formal, visible authority to interpret doctrine, Bishops and Sacred Tradition, dispelling their countless factions of confusion with sola-scriptura. The Orthodox will realize their need for the rock of Peter and forgive him his many sins in order to allow him to serve them with the fullness of truth. And the Islamics will realize their need for the Trinity and Incarnation, to dispel their tendency toward violence and Old Testament harshness.

And the process whereby this will be attained will be apocalyptic, terrible. It has been said that those people who are not familiar with the fully approved apparitions of the Church will think that the world is ending. It will be that bad. Perhaps, God forbid, nuclear war or other weapons of mass destruction, and war everywhere, as in “entire nations shall be annihilated” [Our Lady of Fatima or Our Lady of Kibeho, who implied that the horror of Rwanda would happen in each nation in the world without repentance].

When I show myself to someone and talk to them, I want to turn to the whole world. If am turning to parish of Kibeho, it does not mean that I am concerned only for Kibeho or for the Diocese of Butare or for Rwanda, or for the whole of Africa. I am concerned with and turning to the whole world. The world is evil and rushes towards its ruin. It is about to fall in its abyss. The world is in rebellion against GOD. Many sins are being committed. There is no love and no peace. If you do not repent and convert your hearts, you will all fall into an abyss. - March 27, 1982, Our Lady of Kibeho19

But again, when it is complete, through this terrible cross on humanity, all the non-Catholics in the world, saving most Jews (the enmasse conversion of the Jews is reserved for the very end of the world, per Public Revelation), will come home to Rome, and there will be peace, an olive branch. The dove will have found that same olive branch of peace, the age of peace, when the Immaculate Virgin will reign and bring it back to Noah. Then shall all men live with the best of both worlds: spiritual and material.

The Holy Spirit Will Not Return at the Great Apostasy, Blasphemy Against the Spirit

Moving on with recollection of the previous discourse on the beast, we remember that eventually humanity will be get tired of their puny, little, pathetic crosses. They shall want complete heaven on earth. Therefore, they will forget that their world almost ended with materialistic power and science divorced from God, his truth, and his grace. They shall return to their vomit like the dog. The dove, then, shall go out a final time from the ark, the bark of the Church: the great apostasy.

Once again, they are without excuse, having been given the supreme learning lesson and blessing from God, the minor chastisement and the subsequent age of peace…
