A relative of mine occasionally gives money to a man who is a member of the “Red Rose Brigade”. The man has apparently been arrested upwards of six times and might be spending a long time in jail.
From my understanding, members of the Red Rose Brigade go into abortion clinic waiting rooms and give roses to women in the waiting room and ask that they reconsider getting an abortion. The members apparently refuse to leave the clinics until they’re physically removed by law enforcement.
My question, which is coming from a place of trying to understand from a logical perspective rather than anything contentious: Would the situation be similar if married gay couples entered Catholic churches during the celebration of Masses, handed out roses to parishioners in the pews and asked parishioners to reconsider and support gay marriage, refuse to leave if asked to do so and only then by physical removal from the church by law enforcement?
The one is making a kind gesture to save a life. The other is doing something obnoxious (and sacrilegious) to promote an abomination. The comparison is hardly worth making – aside from an ad hominem legal argument.
Red Rose rescues interrupt operations at abortion clinics. They have the hope and possibility of saving babies’ lives and giving help and alternatives to pregnant women. The rescuers also say by their actions that babies’ lives are real and worth defending.
Interrupting Mass and preventing it from continuing would be interrupting something good, not interfering with something evil.
And would people respond to homosexual propaganda from people who have interrupted their worship? Even if fostering acceptance of homosexuality were a good thing, this would only make more enemies for the advocates of homosexuality.

I do not think you have a right to do whatever you want on private property. If the owner of the property wants you removed, then they have the right to remove you for any reason.
