I’m interested in the words that the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, Mary, and other heavenly persons dictated to Maria Valtorta, who was just one of Their many spokespersons, as well as the visions she received of scenes from Jesus’s life on earth, and that of many martyrs, and so on, that she faithfully wrote down and their behest, which is all for the benefit of souls willing to read them.
I’m passionate about defending all of God’s true spokespersons, including Maria Valtorta, and I’ve been defending her specifically for over a decade, and I say with absolute certainty that every single critic I’ve met either automatically rejected her as having been a spokesman of God, whilst knowing little to nothing about her, and/or would quote the arguments of her critics who knew little to nothing about her themselves, and some straight up lied about things she wrote.
All I’ve ever done and will continue to do is defend Maria Valtorta when necessary, and quote the words of our God and Mary, etc., from her writings when it’s good to do so.
Maria Valtorta didn’t reveal anything on her own, except what pertained to her own life. She was merely God’s “pen”, His instrument, when it came to heavenly truths.
“You looked up Maria Valtorta, found a recent statement by The Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith that her writings “cannot be considered to be of supernatural origin”, and shared it on a public forum without knowing anything else about her. Why do that unless you blindly believe what you read to be true?”
I do not accept the requirement that I investigate a case myself before telling others about a Vatican statement I found. And if I blindly believe what I read, I would accept what you wrote about Maria Valtorta. My quoting a Vatican statement is not a good reason for your harsh criticism.
Firstly, I didn’t say that you blindly believe everything you read, but rather referring to the statement in question. And, neither do I. I took the time to thoroughly investigate Maria Valtorta, as well as the arguments of both her critics and supporters. I’ve read and re-read all of her writings. Was it solely the numerous proofs that convinced me her writings are of supernatural origin? No, but rather also the Grace of God in cooperation with my free will. To explain what I mean, Jesus gave many proofs that He was God in the flesh on earth, and yet there were some who still didn’t believe.
Secondly, you said you had never heard of Maria Valtorta. So, you looked her up and you came across a recent statement by the Doctrine of the Faith which says her writings “cannot be considered supernatural in origin”, then you shared that on a public forum. They didn’t clarify if that statement is based on a thorough investigation of the writings, or if it’s because they haven’t thoroughly investigated the writings yet. Did you bother to find out which? No. And, if you were truly someone who has “no opinion” on her yet as you claimed, then why only share a statement about her on a public forum that would more than likely dissuade someone from investigating her and the writings further? Why not submit a more neutral post befitting a man of “no opinion” by including statements from those within the Church that support her writings being of supernatural origin? It’s because you do have an opinion and it’s one that aligns with the statement you shared, and without even looking into it further. Had you done so, you’d know the Church has yet to even thoroughly investigate her writings and the proofs in support of her claims. If they have, they haven’t said so. Therefore, if you care about accuracy, and don’t want to give people the wrong impression, you’ll add that information in the post where you mentioned the statement.
We see all trying to use finite disciplines to understand what cant be understood because the infinite disciplines cannot be grasped by finite minds, rationally.
OMNILogic is from where we ask, rhetorically, why and how are we hearing this.
To me logically the test becomes for example we teach this to a child then have the child explain it to us, then when we take the energy to listen, because we know logically it takes less energy to speak than to listen. I tell this story 11 times a day and the proportions are almost exact correlating, 5 people do not want to hear it, for whatever reason, perhaps because of the energy they may waste listening to it, for we know we cannot judge, and 5 people do not get the logic the first time perhaps, but one person gets The Mind of God through the Logic of the OMNILogical God and becomes that one that can unite all as one in being through the common denominator of all faiths and the common denominator is the spirit and in Catholicism the spirits are preexisting Persons in being Gods in Being From the Father through the Mother for the Son in all becoming The Christ becoming again One Holy Spirit Family One God in being through the Power of the Trinity of Powers in One Holy Spirit Family One God in being. Hopefully with full of energy we may take the time and energy and we will listen to The OMNILogical truth.
To me there is no mystery for all using logic.
We hear all private, and public interpretations, but never true logic, used to be able to see God form finite earth, to me. All say parts of some things but never unite the Ming of God in logic for all to see, until The Delivery of The OMNILogical God by Stephen through teh Power of The Holy Spirit Family One God in being.
Logically, Jesus is God and The Father is God and the Mother is God, and each Gods are preexisting before creation was ever created was even created and each God is separately God making them uncreated and true Gods in being and each God is equal in the Powers of God and together One God One Holy Spirit Family in being.
The Logical Pentecost for all becoming again is from the same Father and the same God of the Two Nature God from the Faith of Abraham expressed in the logic of today.
The Mind of God has to become to mankind through the flesh for the Spirit to become again in a Body nature manifested by the spirit nature through the created soul to become again through the fulfilled logical intelligence in the new being, logically. God wants to share eternal undefiled infallible fulfilled love through spirit for life becoming again in all in One Body, OMNILogically.
Jesus logically brings eternal logical intelligence that never fails in all cases of the fulfilled faith and morality of The One God in being and from the Spirit power of the intelligence becoming The Christ in all mankind becoming again One Holy Spirit Family One God in being.
The Spirit God of Abraham creates the body, creates the soul from the spirit through the soul of the Body for the flesh to become again in both natures from spirit power glorified and transfigured incorruptible through the soul for the manifestation through the flesh transformed becoming immortality for The Two Nature Body, The New Body becoming again, Statically infallibly unfailing dynamically pulsing eternally through fulfilled eternal love from His Passion with no choice but loving only undefiled and loving with only the most love eternally in One Holy Family One God in being, rationally, OMNILogically.
The intelligence of the OMNILogical God is truly Catholic, trusted and verified through all of the Logical Formulas in The Wondrous Mysteries of the Faith through the Christ becoming again in all One Holy Family One God in being.
The Word, The Holy Spirit Family One God in being, became flesh From The New Eve by the Power of The Holy Spirit Family conceived through the Soul Jesus for the New Adam in The Christ becoming again in all mankind One Holy Spirit Family One God in being.
Logically, in all rational thinking, Joseph Smith cannot understand the Two Nature God of Abraham logically and will never be able to explain the Mind of God, with any sense available with His finite mind and using His disciplines of earth, rationally.
I know many religious people and many see Christ’s Mother in many ways. Some of the religious leaders make not much mention of Mary.
Maria Valtorta has no proof Jesus is God only is guessing and not intelligently thinking in all generalization and not judging. We know logically, from the Power of the Holy Spirit Jesus has left behind for all to share through the Advocate, the Entire Wisdom of the Holy Family One God in being from the Cross. We have to understand, The Holy Spirit is not “just” a person. Intelligently rationally and faithfully the Holy Spirit is the Family and preexisting Family of God in three powers of the universe. And only logically we can know through the OMNILogical God, the God of the logic of today, and the Same God from the Father of Faith, Abraham, expressed truly rationally logically for all to be able to see God with New Logical Eyes, OMNILogically.
Logic dictates both trusted and verified through all of the Logical Formulas of the Wondrous Mysteries of the Faith, Jesus is God because The souls conceived through the Flesh of Jesus Virgin Born because the souls of The Family of God preexisted, not requiring blood and water birth because the Souls of the Holy Spirit Family preexisted before creation was ever created was even created. Blood and water birth creates the souls for all created and being logically reborn through flesh in the New Eve and saved from the Holy Spirit in the New Adam in The Christ in all mankind salvation is for all mankind becoming again through the Christ, One Holy Spirit Family One God in being. Joseph Smith cannot understand the Will of The Universe and Nor Maria, The True Mind of Created, becoming and becoming again, One God in being for all, intelligently, rationally and faithfully, without the knowledge of the OMNILogical God. The Eternal Priestly Authority of Spirit and Life preexisted in fulfilled intelligence logic before creation was ever created was even created as The Son and God in being, preexisting existing as God, separately God and with the Father through the Mother are all together One Holy Spirit Family One God in being. The person in being of Jesus is God of Justice and God of Transformation and Glorification for all becoming through the Christ becoming again One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, rationally and faithfully.
Logically, Jesus has already returned and opened the Gates of Heaven from death and resurrection becoming again One Holy Spirit Family One God in being. The Second Coming is the Transfiguration of the New Heaven and Earth in the New Heaven now fulfilled through both natures, Spirit and life.
All mankind is Created From the Father and the first becoming into flesh immortality is transformed from the Mother in the New Eve for The Son in all The New Adam, the Holy Spirit Family Conceived through the flesh of Jesus in Holy Spirit incorruptiuon for all through The Christ, secondly becoming again through both natures in One Incorruptible Holy Spirit Immortal Family One God in being, OMNILogically.
Logically and truthfully, To all who thinks The Transformation into the New Heaven and Earth and for all mankind, Heaven has not happened you are physically, logically wrong, all wrong logically and faithfully, The Second Coming is already finished from the Cross. “It is finished” says Jesus. Jesus is not coming back, because logically He never left us as orphans, Sanctified Baptized and transformed into the Holy Family from Sacrifice through Penance for Atonement and in Communion with Him Comfirmed in the Same becoming again glorified and transfigured in His Family, Our One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, OMNILogically.
Only the presently unbelieving say “alleged words”.
I know about him, as well as Ellen G. White, and others. I don’t know how much you know about either, but there’s a vast difference between them and Maria Valtorta, for example. If interested, read the following free PDF file:A Summa and Encyclopedia to Maria Valtorta’s Extraordinary Work.
Until Jesus returns, there will continue to be true and false spokespersons of God in the world, but have faith. God will always make known who His true spokesmen are, and expose the false ones, just as He always has. The proof that He supplied the world to show us that Maria Valtorta was His instrument is numerous, but that’s not enough to convince. In the same way, Jesus supplied proof that He was God incarnate, and yet some remained unbelieving. They lacked faith, humility, and love, and because of this they stood in their own way of “seeing” and “hearing” the truths given to them by God.
How does He do this? Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints would say that the “prophet” Joseph Smith was His true spokesman.
And these members do not lack faith, humility, or love. Mormons would say the Book of Mormon, revealed to Joseph Smith by an angel of the Lord, is confirmed through personal spiritual experiences, the testimony of the Holy Ghost, and the testimony of witnesses who saw the gold plates (which has also been questioned by individuals who are skeptical).
I have friends who are LDS and they love Jesus, the Holy Bible, and are genuinely good people, but they believe things that are not in line with the Church founded by Jesus (though they might argue that Christ restored His Church through Joseph Smith).
My point here is not to debate LDS Beliefs, but rather to illustrate how Catholic Christians need to be careful of taking hold of private revelation and applying it as public revelation.
If you read Maria Valtorta and it inspires your faith in Jesus Christ, then this is better than having no faith. I would say the same about my Mormon friends.
I was speaking about the Pharisees, Scribes, and others. They witnessed many proofs that Jesus was God Incarnate, and they still didn’t believe that He was. This shows that all the proof in the world isn’t enough for some, as well as shows that more is required in order to recognize and understand heavenly truths, and thus they were lacking in what is required. If you don’t believe that they lacked faith, humility, and love, then what do you believe they lacked?
All I’m saying is that anything God reveals or says is important and should be heeded. And, unfortunately, there’s people who believe that our living God doesn’t reveal or speak about anything at all anymore, and thus automatically believe that every person who claims to have been or be a spokesperson of God wasn’t or isn’t, and so they only read Scripture. Now, if someone spends their whole life only reading Scripture, it’s not the end of the world. BUT, even then it can be problematic depending on the translation. A group of Jehovah’s Witnesses, for example, basically edited Scripture to their liking, and now new members of that faith are being mislead. One the reasons why Jesus said He took recourse to showing the Gospel to Maria Valtorta via visions, and had her write all that she saw and heard, which she accomplished in great detail with His help, is because of the misinterpretations, translation errors, and so on of Scripture over two thousand years.
Anyway, those that only read Scripture while daring to believe and tell others that God has nothing else to reveal or say (despite that being said nowhere in Scripture), then they’re keeping our living God confined to those pages when He’s constantly interactive. He’s not in Heaven existing as a mute.
Nope. I am not interested in what God allegedly revealed to some rando. I am more interested in what God has reveled to the rondos in the Bible and to their successors. I feel like latching onto supposed, modern prophesies could lead one astray (no offense). I know that you are very passionate about this, but it is not something that I am interested in entertaining.
I do believe in both private and public revelation. And I believe God is actively speaking to us in many ways. Where I get cautiously skeptical is when individuals use terms like “spokesperson of God” or confuse private revelation with public revelation. Or worse, thoughts of a mad-man as revelations from God (I’m not saying that this is the case here, but I tend to stick to what is sound.)
You’re only interested in what has been revealed to the “randos” mentioned in the books of the Old and New Testament, huh? So, if God chooses you to reveal and/or repeats truths to, and commissions you with writing down all that you see and hear, and helps you to see the Work made accessible to the world, that would be of no interest to you?
You’re cautiously skeptical of the term “spokesperson of God”, huh? Well, firstly, a “spokesperson” is “a person who speaks for another or for a group.” A few examples of a spokesperson of God would be the “randos in the Bible” that you’re interested in, such as Moses, Isaiah, Samuel, Elijah, John the Baptist, etc. [Note: a spokesperson of God doesn’t only receive and relay prophecies.]
Secondly, how do you discern between a madman and a true spokesperson of God?
Thirdly, am I someone that you think confuses private revelation with public revelation? If so, based on what? I only said “[…] anything God reveals and says is important and should be heeded.” Do you agree with that statement?
Do you believe that private revelation occurs to this day?
That is the important question when talking about this topic.
I do. The Catechism says that “no new public revelation is to be expected before the glorious manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ” (CCC 66).
Paragraph 67 says, “Throughout the ages, there have been so-called ‘private’ revelations, some of which have been recognized by the authority of the Church. They do not belong, however, to the deposit of faith. It is not their role to improve or complete Christ’s definitive Revelation, but to help live more fully by it in a certain period of history… [The] Christian faith cannot accept ‘revelations’ that claim to surpass or correct the Revelation of which Christ is the fulfillment…”
St. Paul says, “Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophetic utterances. Test everything; retain what is good” (1 Thess. 5:19-21).
Maybe I do wrongly despise prophetic utterances and quench the Spirit when I hear someone claiming to be “a spokesperson of God.” And I do it out of caution.
I am also skeptical of what is being referred to as “the spirit of synodality.” I think a lot of individuals are pushing an agenda (again, I’m not saying that this is the case with Miss Valtorta).
The Church has said, “It should be reiterated that alleged ‘visions’, ‘revelations,’ and ‘messages’ contained in the writings of Maria Valtorta—or, in any case, attributed to them—cannot be regarded as having a supernatural origin. Rather, they should be considered simply as literary forms that the author used to narrate the life of Jesus Christ in her own way.”
Fr. Mark Slatter said in an article, “To keep a sane view of private revelation, you must know first and above all that you do not have to accept any private revelation whatsoever, nor are you bound to it in any way except to that which already reflects the truths of Scripture and Tradition.”
[Note: a spokesperson of God doesn’t only receive and relay prophecies.] How did you reach the conclusion that those spokesmen of God weren’t madmen?
Secondly, am I someone that you think confuses private revelation with public revelation? If so, based on what? I only said “[…] anything God reveals and says is important and should be heeded.” Do you agree with that statement?
Thirdly, since you rightly have said that private revelations occur to this day, then that means Maria Valtorta either was or wasn’t a true spokesperson of God. Regarding the recent statement by the Doctrine of the Faith, in it they say that Maria Valtorta’s writings “cannot be considered supernatural in origin”. Did you notice that they didn’t explain WHY they think that Maria’s writings are rather “simply literary forms that the author used to narrate the life of Jesus Christ in her own way”? If you want to be cautious, don’t just automatically accept their unsubstantiated opinion as a fact without looking at the numerous proofs that show her writings are of supernatural origin. Don’t you want to read those proofs before rejecting Maria Valtorta as having been a true spokesperson of God?
That excerpt from the statement by the Doctrine of the Father regarding Maria Valtorta’s writings is their unsubstantiated opinion. They didn’t bother to explain WHY Maria Valtorta’s “cannot be considered to be of supernatural origin”. At the very least, they didn’t bother to say whether or not they have investigated all the proofs that support her writings being of supernatural origin before making such a statement. Therefore, I hope people don’t just blindly accept their opinion as fact, and thoroughly investigate Maria Valtorta’s writings before judging them.
Firstly, if by “revelations” you mean “'prophecies”, Maria Valtorta wasn’t a prophet. She didn’t relay new prophecies.
Secondly, all that the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, Mary, and other heavenly persons dictated to Maria Valtorta, and all the visions that she received and described, I consider all to be great. So, I’ll name a few things she wrote:
Jesus showed Maria Valtorta visions of scenes from His Mother’s and His own life on Earth, including scenes that we read about in the four Gospels, but all in greater detail. These visions were compiled into the books The Gospel as Revealed to Me, or The Poem of the Man-God, but it’s not and is not to be considered a fifth Gospel. Jesus said to Maria that there are four gospels, and four Gospels there will remain.
Jesus showed Maria Valtorta visions of scenes from various early Christian Martyrs and Saints.
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit dictated to Maria their explanations on the Holy Trinity, Grace, the soul, the Last Judgment, the Anti-Christ, the book of Revelation, the fall of Lucifer and other angels, Adam and Eve, current events in Maria’s day which was World War II, such as Hitler who Jesus said was one of the forerunners of the anti-Christ, etc.
The Holy Spirit dictated His explanations for every chapter and verse in Paul’s Epistle to the Romans.
and so on…
There’s a lot that Maria saw and heard and faithfully wrote down with accuracy with divine help.
“they all seem clothed in white**:** that luminous white of the garments of Jesus and Mary.”
"When I attained the capacity of seeing further, thanks to the Love enkindled and suspended above me, my spirit was called to look still higher. And against the clearer azure of Paradise, I saw the Father — distinctly, in as much as His figure was in lines of immaterial light. [He had] a beauty which I do not try to describe because it is beyond human capacity. He appeared to me as on a throne. I say this because He seemed to me to be seated with infinite majesty. But I did not see a throne, or armchair or canopy. Nothing of any earthly form of seat. He seemed to be at my left side (toward the direction of my crucified Jesus — just to give you an indication — and therefore to the right of His Son), but at an incalculable height. And yet I saw Him in the tiniest of His most luminous features. He was looking toward the window (still to give you an indication of the various positions). He was looking with a look of infinite love.
I followed His gaze and saw Jesus. Not the Jesus-Master Whom I usually see. But the Jesus-King**:** clothed in white but with a luminous and extremely white garment, as is that of Mary.
On the left, the ranks of Confessors. On the right, those of the Virgins. I do not see the ranks of Martyrs, and the Spirit makes me understand that the Martyrs are joined to the Virgins, since martyrdom ’ re-virginizes**'** the soul as if it were just created. Whether Confessors or Virgins, they all seem clothed in white**:** that luminous white of the garments of Jesus and Mary.
Then the Light summons my spirit to the other side of the room, that is toward Martha’s9 bed, and I see my angel. He is kneeling, turned toward Mary whom he appears to venerate. Clothed in white, his arms placed in a cross on his breast with his hands touching his shoulders. His head is bowed very low, therefore I see little of his face. He is in an attitude of profound homage. I see his beautiful long wings, very white, pointed, true wings made to fly swiftly and surely from earth to Heaven, now gathered behind his shoulders. He teaches me with his attitude, as if he says**: ‘** Hail, Mary**.’**
The Father looks at the Son on His left. The Son looks at His Mother and me. But I assure you if He did not look with love I could not bear the brilliance of His Look and of His Countenance. He is truly the King of dreadful majesty, as it is said8.
Then Maria states “On high, always, the Father, the Son, and now also the Spirit high above the Two, between the Two, Whom He unites with His brilliance.”
Where did Mary go? We see Mary returned and now mentioned but with Jesus and not the father? And now per Maria, the Holy Spirit is the Eternal Father?
A Body of flesh and a Spirit that is alive, throbbing, perfect, sensitive to touch and contact — only the Body of Jesus and of Mary are that: two glorious Bodies, but truly’ bodies.’ Then, Light with the form of a body (just so that it can be perceptible to this poor handmaid of God): the Eternal Father, the Holy Spirit and my angel. Next, Light already more solid**:** St. Joseph and St. John, certainly because I must hear their presence and word. Finally, White Flames, which are spiritualized bodies**:** all the Blessed who form the multitude of Heaven.

I continue to state her pseudo conversations may be possibly believable.
Logically what did Maria hear from the Trinity of Powers with respect to the persons in the Trinity? Maria sees Mary several times and only mentions Jesus and the Father as above, to me not logical. Thanks in advance.
I can’t imagine rationally Maria was told Mary was not in the Trinity of powers preexisting together with the Father and the Son in One Holy Family One God in being becoming again in all mankind, One God.
I hope Maria agrees creation of the soul is from the spirit through the flesh for the Body in both natures becoming again One Family.
The Last Judgement is the second coming.
Does Maria know logically, from the Mind of God?, that the Fall from grace from Adam and Eve was the creation of love giving the freedom to love or not to love becoming again to love only and to love with only the most love, through the New Eve in the New Adam becoming The Christ in all mankind undefiled infallible fulfillled Eternal Life and Spirit, becoming again One Holy Family One God in being.
The anti-Christ is anything but The Will of the Father. Don’t be mislead, rationally. logically and know faithfully becoming again is logically only one way.
The Book of Revelation was fundamentally revealed by Mary who was with John for perhaps 35 years, the Queen of Council had special knowledge and knew from the beginning just like Mary told John in the Gospel According to John, Mary was there in the beginning is Mother of God in The Word, and the Word was God together and the Word, the Holy Spirit Family was With God, in Mary, Queen of Heaven and Mother of God is there and is always protected.
You can read Maria Valtorta’s following books for free online:
The Poem of the Man-God: Vols. I-V (a Work on the Life of Christ), or you can read all five volumes on the website calameo: here. The latter site is great because in the search bar, you can type in keywords like “soul”, or “grace”, etc., and it’ll highlight all the places in the writings where those subjects are spoken about. The other site does that too, but this one is better for that.
The Notebooks: 1943, or you can read it here too. Go here to read Jesus’s comparison of the Holy Trinity to Light. It’s the dictation under the date July 1st, 1943. [Note: There are other places in Maria’s writings where the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and Mary speak about the Holy Trinity, so this isn’t the only dictation.]
The End Times (This is thematic book, it comprises of dictations from Jesus on the end times taken from The Notebooks)
I have yet to find The Little Notebooks, Lessons on the Epistle of St. Paul to the Romans, and The Book of Azariah for free online, but I own them if you have any questions about them.
Additionally, since you have a strong interest in the Holy Spirit, it made me happy and excited to put together a list of links where, if ever interested, you can read dictations from the Holy Spirit, as well as from the Son and the Father about the Holy Spirit and the Holy Trinity, that were received and written down by Maria Valtorta. Below are a few:
[Note: you’ll notice that the Holy Spirit is also referred to as “the Eternal Spirit” and “Spirit of God” at times, and Jesus’s nickname for Maria was “little John”.]
