Hello brothers and sisters in Christ,
I wanted to share about a recent journey that i have embarked on, hoping i get support along the way from fellow catholics.
I grew up in the Catholic faith - going to Mass every Sunday, praying the Rosary with my family, and being rooted in prayer. But as life went on, I slowly drifted. Work became hectic, raising three young kids (all under 6!) made life chaotic, and social obligations filled whatever time was left. I still had my faith, but I found reasons to skip the practices that once anchored me.
Then, a few months ago, I lost my job. It was a heavy and stressful time - and still is. And in the midst of it, I realized I had turned my back on the very foundations that made me who I am. My faith, prayer, and God Himself.
During this time, I learned more about Blessed Carlo Acutis. A young man who loved technology and video games, yet remained deeply grounded in his faith. His example inspired me to reflect on my own gifts. I realized my true mission: to bring people closer to God and their faith, especially those who, like me, may have drifted away.
Since my background is in programming, I felt called to put my skills to use in service of this mission. My first step has been creating an iOS (iPhone) app called Divine Dialogue.
With it, you can:
-
Talk to the Bible and receive guidance rooted in Scripture
-
Get back into prayer with a simple, daily habit
-
Listen to God’s Word and find encouragement
-
Share your joys, struggles, and hopes without fear of judgment
-
Receive positivity and comfort from scripture-based reflections
This is not a money-making project. I built it with my own time and resources, and for now it is completely free. I trust God will guide me when the time comes to sustain it.
My humble request: please help me spread the word. Share it with your friends, family, and anyone who may need a gentle nudge back toward prayer and the Bible.
I am working out what next project to take up, to continue my mission. If you have ideas, feedback, or wisdom to share, I’d be grateful to hear them. Together, may we bring more souls closer to Christ.
God bless you all,
