We have one really nice Catholic Christian Bookstore about 45 minutes away. We used to have one a half-hour from us, but it closed a few years ago.

We also have a generically Christina Bookstore in the Mall about a half-hour from us and they do have a Catholic section all the way in the back of the store, but we’ll take it :joy:

we don’t have anything remotely catholic in my country much less a catholic bookstore

There’s a good one about three and a half miles away. I have walked to it, which takes about an hour and a half, or I can ride a trolley and a bus, which take me out of the way and just as long. I go about once a year.

The cathedral in Philadelphia has a nice little shop, but it’s open only a few days per week.

Yes there is…and the people there have always been really nice. I might have a problem with the higher ups, but most people who identify as Catholic/Christian, I don’t really run into problems with them. I would say that most of the Church (normal, average everyday people who attend Mass) is good. I mean, yeah…you have certain people who still struggle with things day-in and day-out, but the fact that they go to Mass while struggling tells you that they’re at least trying. Although…with the way things are today, some mortally sin yet eat the Eucharist anyway. But…even if they do struggle, well we’re only hueman and at the end of the day we all have our vices. But yes, there is a nice store nearby. I don’t go into that store a whole lot, but, everytime I have gone in there, they’ve been nothing but nice.

Not in my local town, but there is one in the city of Glasgow, which is about 40 minutes away from where I live

There is no Catholic bookstore within forty miles from where I live.

There are no Catholic books & media stores anywhere close to where I now reside.

However, when I were young, there used to be a large Pauline Books & Media store, up in the Northeast USA. However, most throughout the U.S. have since closed, all but a handful remain open.

Today I shop for Catholic books & media online. Either through Amazon or eBay. Through Amazon, I can usually find good quality second-hand Catholic books at a fairly reasonable price which are offered by small retail book stores sold through Amazon.

For example, I recently purchased a NRSV-CE hard cover New Testament Study Bible through Amazon for $25, in excellent like-new condition.
