If God is truly just

Suppose there were two gods, each given their own respective universe, independent of each other.

One God fashioned His creations, gave them life, and told them, “obey Me and love Me or when you die you will face pain for all eternity.”

The other God fashioned His creations, gave them life, and told them, “obey Me and love Me or when you die, I will wink you out of existence as I winked you into existence; for I can take your live as I have given it.”

Which of these two gods would you say was the more just?

I don’t think that either of these scenarios describes justice or the real God. The God of the Bible walked in Eden with the people He created. They saw Him and knew Him. He didn’t threaten them with eternal punishment if they disobeyed. He said they would know good and evil. He also said that, with their cooperation (through Mary, a descendant of theirs) He would save them. This is not injustice, it is amazing mercy. In spite of that, people are free to reject God and to disobey Him. The result of rejecting His mercy and salvation? Eternal pain.

Now you could explain why God is unjust if you think He is. Also what you mean by justice. Is it anything more than your idea of what is fair? We each have ideas of what is fair, but that doesn’t mean that my ideas are superior to your or God’s.

If I were God, things would be a lot different but not better. Just look at all my wrong choices and extrapolate them to fill the universe. Or if there is no God, then I agree with Dostoyevsky: everything is permitted. There is no right or wrong, justice or injustice.

But Dostoyevsky believed, and I believe, in God, right and wrong, justice and injustice. If I see injustice (and I do see it all over the place), rather that criticize a caricature of God, I should try to spread justice.

Sounds like a choice between the god of islam and the god of the jw’s

Peace to all,

To me God is “just” who Jesus says He is, verses, choice, just what we want Him to be, I believe.

The pattern becomes, “just”, the image of the selected spirit Father becoming again through manifestation from the selected, some say, through choice, the spirit pattern image, I believe, logically. We know The Father.

To me, in all generalizations, the OMNILogical Mind of God never fails in all cases from the fulfilled faith and morality through The Christ becoming again in all, undefiled, and infallibility becomes inside of us living from three Gods, delivered for all transformed brothers and sisters in all mankind through the New Eve Immaculate Conception for Jesus becoming Holy Spirit Incorruption for all becoming through The Christ in all mankind becoming Sons and Daughters of God beoming immortality and incorruption in One Body becoming again in all glorified and transfigured in One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, OMNILogically, I beleive.

Peace always,

Stephen

The God of the Jews, and the God of the Muslims, and the God of the followers of Jesus……..They are the same God.

If you go to Walmart, and enter the aisle where canned beans are on the shelf, you will see that there are half a dozen brands, each with their own labels, each with their own packaging. But if you open the cans, the product is the same. Beans.

The same is true of religions. Different packages for different people, different cultures. But the central idea is that we should understand that God is our eternal Lord and Master, and we are His eternal servants. And even better, as Jesus teaches, our perfection in following our religion, is to love the Lord our God………how?……..with all of our heart. In other words, Jesus was advising us to cultivate a personal relationship with God…… a relationship of loving reciprocation.

So we have two approaches to religion. One approach is about being a “good boy”, and going to heaven. In other words, this is about “my happiness”. Not God’s happiness. And the other approach, the approach that Jesus is teaching, is to love God. Loving God is not about wanting something in return. That would be more about doing business with God. Love is something very different. Love is its own reward.

For example in the 23rd psalm, we have the phrase “My cup runneth over.” One might think that this means one is receiving all kinds of material benefits from God. Or one might think that this means that by loving God, our hearts become so filled with spiritual happiness, spiritual bliss, that we stop being concerned about material rewards, material things all together. Certainly this is the example of the saints in every spiritual tradition. It is not that they were ascetic. It is that the happiness they achieved by loving the Lord, freed them from the bottomless pit of material desires.

So this is the common basic teaching of all religions. To cultivate the love of God that frees us from our love of material things, things that can never give us real fulfillment. Even the billionaire thinks he just needs another billion dollars. And yet, many people approach God asking Him to bless them with success in their financial concerns. Of course God can bless them in this way. But they will not be able to say, “My cup runneth over.” They will probably say, “I just need a little more, a little more.”

Peace to all,

How does the Spirit Mind of God become to earth becoming and living inside of all through the flesh in all mankind and become again in through two natures, spirit and life in all becoming again One God in being? Now whom ever can answer this surely OMNILogically, has the keys, I believe.

From cousins we become brothers and sisters through becoming Sons and Daughters of God becoming again for all One Holy Spirit Family One God in being God, OMNILogically, I believe,

The Fathers of Ishmael and Isaac had two names, Abram and Abraham, Same God. The Mothers of Ishmael and Isaac we two different people, Haggar and Sarah making the brothers Isaac and Ishmael to each other yet only cousins to all mankind. Jesus removes the contention for all from One Father through One Mother becoming brothers and sisters in all mnakind for One Son becoming the Christ in all mankind in One Body becoming again in all Sons and Daughters of God in all One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, OMNILogicalGod, i believe,

Peace always,

Stephen

Actually, Stephen, you are not writing prose. You are writing poetry. Spiritual poetry, pouring forth from your heart. But unless you write it like one would write a poem, people will not understand very well. Let me give you an example of how I think you might write, by using your words, in a different format:

Peace to all,

To me

God is “just”

who Jesus says He is,

verses, choice, just what we want Him to be,

I believe.

The pattern becomes, “just”,

the image of the selected spirit Father

becoming again through manifestation

from the selected,

some say, through choice,

the spirit pattern image,

I believe, logically.

We know The Father.

To me, in all generalizations,

the OMNILogical Mind of God never fails

in all cases from the fulfilled faith and morality

through The Christ becoming again in all,

undefiled, and infallibility becomes inside of us

living from three Gods,

delivered for all transformed brothers and sisters

in all mankind

through the New Eve Immaculate Conception

for Jesus becoming Holy Spirit

Incorruption for all becoming

through The Christ in all mankind

becoming Sons and Daughters of God

beoming immortality and incorruption

in One Body becoming again

in all glorified and transfigured

in One Holy Spirit Family

One God in being,

OMNILogically, I beleive.

Peace to all.

Thanks Peter1, beutiful, I get opposition mostly from reformed, those not logically understalging the formulas of the Faith. Expression through logic helps one logically determine through faith, The Logical Mind of God, rationally, I beleive.

Your rewrite to me is God given priceless, Thanks so much.

I will try on the next writing, very next, thanks again

Peaca always,

The words of instruction (not mine of course) are:

“Seek and you shall find”.

“Knock and the door will be opened unto you.”

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

“Judge not that ye be not judged.”

“Love the Lord, thy God with all of your heart.”

So the answer seems to be that the only way to know if God is just, is that we have to play by God’s rules………and then see if He delivers.

He sends His messenger, His son, with an RSVP invitation. But if we don’t respond…..if we don’t attend the celebration that he invites us to……then we can go on wondering if God is just.

There was one Danish philosopher who coined the Phrase, “leap of faith”. This means that although we don’t know if God is real, we don’t know if God is just, we don’t know if love of God will fulfill our hearts to overflowing with joy…….if we begin to mold our lives as if we accept without doubt, that all of these promises were true……..that’s the only way we can obtain an answer to the question, “Is God truly just.”

Peace to all,

So true, Peter1,

Just is to me logically in the autonomy through the Catholic Church to be able to stand before Him and His Family self-justified and righteous Baptized and transformed becoming Immortalzed and becoming made incoruptible from all of the logical formulas through the Wondrous Mysteries of the Faith in the Christ for all becoming again glorified and transfigured from One Body in One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, I beleive, OMNILogically.

The same logic is your words, beautiful, trusted and faithful and verified from the one whom sits in Moses seat, I believe.

The ReallogicalGod is in the New OMNILogical Creed, in process,I believe.

Believe in One God, from The Father Almighty creator of all things through the Mother of God of Heaven God of Transformation for all becoming into the New Eve for the Son, Jesus through teh Christ in all mankind becoming………………….

I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.

Amen.

Peace always,

Stephen

Thank you for all of your replies thus far; all of them are appreciated. I do not endorse all of the replies or even the thesis as i have presented it. I was genuinely curious. So far, none of you has managed to satisfy my question.

Advice from Jesus? Jesus said that to love God with our whole hearts is a commandment—the greatest commandment. Not just advice.

The word “just” is the root word in “justice.” Would there be justice in the second god? And what would the response be to a weak god?

God does not send us to damnation. He gives us the freedom to choose damnation.

Yes, God created all things, but gifted us free will and created us in his own image (with logic and reason to love, to be loved, and to create beauty).

You can add a third god to your hypothetical; a god that did not create us in his own image and did not gift us with free-will. I would still choose God over these other gods.

Years ago I took a short course about the cardinal virtues, one of which is justice. If I remember correctly, the virtue of justice was defined as returning to other people what belongs to them. This is not the whole concept of justice, but it is what (the real) God rewards. Getting your own property or rights back if they have been taken away is not wrong, but helping others reacquire what is theirs is a virtue.

Peace to all,

There is literally One God with two choices manifesting through two natures from the spirit through the flesh in One Body becoming Again One Family, I believe.

In all generalizations the original posts scenario is defiled through both examples given, I believe.

Logically how does the Mind of God work? The Logical Intelligence of the universe, I believe is , the Created failed Question becomes from the first spirit creating love with the defiled choice to love or not to love becoming from the spirit nature power manifesting through the created souls of all for the flesh in One Body to become from the image of of the choice. The failed choice manifests from choosing lot to love, and the undeflied choice chooses loving only and loving with only the most love.

The Undefiled logical intelligence unfailing becomes from The Holy Spirit through the created souls of all for the flesh in One Body manifesting from the Power of the Holy Spirit loving only and loving with only the most love becoming again One Holy Spirit Famlily One God in being, I believe.

Peace always,
Stephen

I like everything you said. And it ties into what I was saying about God giving us what we have claimed (specifically Hell, if that is what we choose).
