Yes, however that term progressive has other meanings in our modern language.
Why are ‘Tommy’s’ posts deleted?
No, in fact, faith isn’t.
Because Tommy deleted the post.
This is one of those things where, you gotta have discernment. Wolve’s in sheeps clothing, and boy is there a lot of that…
“It is, what it is” (as a very evidently dodgy second-hand car salesman once said).
Or the (maybe Russian) Mafia would utter it as, "It…is…what…it…is".

I’m sad I came in too late to read Tommy’s comments. I do feel that faith should be progressive in order to be true living faith. James 2:14 teaches us that faith without works is dead. The works James speaks of are the works of Mercy (feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick and the prisoner). In the second sense of progressive (i.e. progress) we learn in Ephesians 4:15: “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.”
I think these terms “progressive” and “conservative” are loaded terms in our current political climate and I think we do a disservice by using them.
