Since Paul says “Men who has long hair is a disgrace”.
Now i plan on not cutting my hair til Trump is out of office. No reason for it. I just kinda felt like it. But whats the view on it?
Could you imagine a God who would actually damn a man to eternal hell for having long hair? Or a God fixated on numerical technicalities?
“You led a good life with an eye toward kindness, but you only helped an old lady across the street three times and I require four; to hell with you for eternity.” Or, “As a man, you kept your hair short or on the shorter side most of your life, but there was that time that you took too long between haircuts and as a result your hair grew longer than I allow; to hell with you for eternity.”

I found this comment at wearefaith.org: “The command against long hair for men cannot be absolute, as Numbers 6 talked about men taking a Nazirite vow and growing out his hair (something Paul seems to have done at one point – see Acts 18:18).”
Also, Paul said that long hair on men (length unspecified) is naturally a disgrace. He was against it but didn’t say why it is naturally wrong. He also didn’t say anything about people going to hell because of their hair length.
My co-worker (who cringes at the very mention of President Trump’s name) thinks that St. Paul had issues with hair in general. She thinks he struggled with a hair fattish, and that is why he wanted women to cover up their hair and for men not to have long hair. He probably had times where he was checking out what he thought was a woman’s hair and when the guy turned around Paul was like, “What a disgrace!” Knowing that it is more about his problem than it is about men actually having long hair or not.
We once had a Baptist Minister (we call him “Ben the Baptist”) come into our print-shop and he wanted to order shirts for the members of his Church. He specifically stated, “no v-necks and no women’s shirts that are tapered in on the sides (women’s fit).” My co-worker (a different Protestant Pastor’s Wife) said after he left that that man is a little way too concerned about what women wear. She thought it was strange. Then a few months later, he was caught exposing himself to the girls track team practicing over at the High School!
I don’t know that St. Paul had problems, but my co-worker (a different-differnt Protestant Pastor’s Daughter) thinks he might have had a thing for hair : )
I heard theories. That reason Paul was against it. Was due to paganistic practices around it, interms of men with long hair etc. But i am unsure.
But yeah you are right. Samson had long hair, because he was devoted to God. So i guess in the end. It depends on your intentions.
