I sorta get two views of it?

Going by old testament. It says Men acting like Women, or Women acting like Men is a taboo thing of social order.

Deuteronomy 22:5

5 A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.

But at same time. Enuchs can get to heaven.

Matthew 19:12

12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others—and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it."

And according to Paul “Letter of the law, is to take it literally. But spirit of the law, is to follow the intentions” (The latter is what Christians follow. Or going by Galatians 5:13-26., is likely to follow Spirit of God in loyalty that leads to faith, in best way possible.

2 Corinthians 3:6

6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

So. I am sorta curious to what you think about it?

I guess the only cultural difference is. LGBT is heavily communistic and anti religion (Which is that aspect i dont like about it). But i also will assume, if the state runs influence and values. It will also be a Centralized culture

As compared to a Decentralized traditional hard workers. Who feels the state takes over traditional values of culture, religion and stuff like that. Aka the anti Socialist or Anti Strong Central Government type of people

As someone who struggles with same-sex attraction, even if you can’t find your answer in The Bible, the statistics alone speak for themselves. In the acronym LGBTQ+, transexuals tend to be the ones who have a higher suicide rate than the other letters.

I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again, nothing good can come from that community. The community talks about loving everyone and they fight for inclusion, but the moment you say something the community disagrees with, now you’re the bad guy and you’re the narrow-minded one, when really it’s quite the opposite. Throwing someone under a bus all because they don’t care for that lifestyle choice is very unloving and non-inclusive at all.

It’s sad because honestly what’s going on in that community is the normalization of trauma. These people have been traumatized so much, and have normalized it so much, that these people wouldn’t know what real love is if it hit them in the face. Loving someone is looking past the parts of the other person that you deem undesirable. And really, what’s going on is, the reason why they hate people who disagree with them is because the behavior these other people display they don’t really like about themselves. And instead of trying to accept that there are certain things about themselves that they don’t like, instead they point fingers at other people and blame other people, when the one with the problem is themselves.

Every LGBTQ+ person would do well to go to therapy. When you go to therapy, you realize that the only enemy you truly have in this life is yourself. You’re the one who is making your sexuality your entire being, when really there’s more to you than just your sexual preference. As a gay man myself, I’m constantly being called a homophobe all because I believe that not everyone is going to like you. And that doesn’t just go for LGBTQ+ people, that goes for everyone. Not everyone is going to like you. So you learn to just deal with it and move on.

I’m not saying being gay is great. I’m very much ashamed that I am gay, because it’s not a badge of honor, it’s very dishonorable. It’s not natural and it has the ability to ruin your life. But I’ve learned that being gay is such a small part of me, it’s practically non-existent. I’m so much more than my sexual leaning. I’m a brother, a friend, a confidant, a therapist, a son, I’m so much more than my sexual preference. And the one thing I do have going for me is, I have a spiritual advantage. Cause I went through some trauma myself and went and sought therapy over it, and whenever I’m around conservatives and right wingers, I don’t get antsy or nervous. I just start talking to them, and most conservatives and right wingers are nice people to talk to. And I don’t tell them about my sexuality, they don’t need to know and I don’t need to advertise it. Instead we have beautiful talks about everything. My connections with those people are always very positive. Yeah, we don’t agree on some things, but that doesn’t keep me from loving them. It just means that we’re different, well welcome to Earth where everyone’s different.

I just wish the LGBTQ+ community would seek good therapy. Maybe then that community wouldn’t be riddled with sex, drugs, alcohol, etc… But, unfortunately the statistics show that people who struggle with their sexuality tend to be addicts that are addicted to “feeling good.” I just wish those same people would go to therapy, cause there’s so much good these people can do for the hueman race. It’s just a shame you know?

The Bible does not, as far as I know, mention men trying to become women or women trying to become men. Homosexuality in the Bible is not just taboo. I think that the Bible calls it an abomination. Also, eunuchs were mutilated to prevent them from having sex. It wasn’t an attempt to turn them into women.

The only issue i have. Is the hyper focused view around homosexuals. Since if we go by Galatians 5:13-26 (This encourages Christians to use their freedom to walk on the path of God. I think encouraging that, and trying to avoid judging. Yes we should lead people on right path. But i also think nobody will criticize the double standards of what we as a sinful society do aswell? Simply praying for people and be led by God is better in my view. And avoid sinful speech or anything contrary to the sound doctrine)

Also i remember the line where Jesus says “Bless those who curse you”. For longest time, i didn’t understand it? If someone insults me personally etc?

But i think it means (Is it factual, ok lets argue the facts). If not? Then you can plug it out and bless that person instead. Having hateful acts is the same as killing, since the intent is to cause violence and harm.

Overall, i think when it comes to self focused desires. That we should strive to serve one another. Even when life is simple. We should live according to the Lord! Amen!

We’re not judging because through choice we become the will of anything we want to become.

All of this stuff is “old”, as in “old testament”. If a man’s heart is open to God, God doesn’t care if one drives a Roles Rocye or a Ford. And more importantly, anyone who loves God will be made free of all the desires of the flesh. “The truth shall make you free.” So instead of worrying what kind of pants to wear, just try to cultivate a loving feeling towards the Lord. The closer we get to God, the more we understand that this body is a temporay vehicle that will return to the earth. “Ashes to ashes; dust to dust.” All this man-woman stuff is a superficial garment…as if we are at a halloween party.

Peace to you dear Stephen!

I am thinking that it is best that I withdraw from making comments on this site. My undertstanding is too radical, to eccentric relative to the teachings that are accepted by the members. I will not be changing their views, only disturbing their minds. They are not capable of questioning, for fear of being rejected by God. In this way everything is accepted in toto, and any questions raised are taken as heresy. Therefore my thought is to leave them be. Jesus was here 2000 years ago, and since his departure, clergymen, and politicians have met time and again deciding how his message should be preached, diluted, altered, etc., sometimes killing thousands upon thousands who believe defferently. I have read online recently that there are 40,000 different churches all claiming to be following the teachings of Jesus. The Catholic church is one of those 40,000.

Well, according to the scriptures that I follow, all of us in the material world have come here from the spiiritual world. We can blame Adam and Eve…but according to the scripture that I follow, all of us are similar to Adam and Eve, and the Garden of Eden is the spiritual world from which we have become exiled…due to a spirit of rebellion, a spirit of independence. No archiologist will find the Garden of Eden on this planet.
According to our scripture, being a good person is not enough for gaining entry to the spiritual kingdom. Jesus says the same, “Not by good works alone…”.
Our books say that one has to fall in love with God. Because as long as love of God is absent in our heart…to that degree, we will be attracted to the things of this world. Jesus says the same thing; “Man cannot have two masters. Either we are servants of God, or we are servants of mammon.”
Therefore the question arises: “How do we become free of desires to enjoy the temporal things of this world, the things that promise satisfaction…but cannot deliver satisfaction?”

Our scripture says that only that person, who has in his heart, a feeling of spontaneous love for God …only such a person becomes free of the desires of the flesh, the desire for good social status, the desire for wealth, the desire for power, the desire to delight in the pleasures of the material senses, etc.

Jesus again says the same thing: When the Judaic clergymen asked Jesus what is the most important rule of all scripture, Jesus said that the highest rule is to love God with all of our heart, with all of our strength. This kind of love…this is not about someone pouring water on our head or someone putting a holy wafer on our tongue. This love is so powerful that all materialistic desires and aspirations are removed from our heart without separate endeavor. I think Saint Francis was showing these symptoms. He left a life of social and financial comfort…simply to live like a beggar, simply to run barefoot in the snow, glorifying God with his every breath.
Baptism is a ceremony. Just like marriage is a ceremony. But it is not the ceremony that makes the love between husband and wife flourish; it is the way in which they live together. Similarly, one can be baptized; but that is only the beginning of the cultivation of our loving realtionship with God. If one says, “Now I am baptized…all I have to do is go to confess my sins once a week.” , this is not a mature understanding of what Jesus is teaching. For example, if I am breaking the speed limit in my car, and have to appear in court, and I confess and promise not to do it again…yes, the judge can forgive me and not give me a fine. But if I appear again in the next week with the same story, do you think that the judge will forgive me. No. There will be a fine.
Or if we are saying, “Jesus has died for my sins.” In the Bible when Jesus heals someone who is suffering, he says “Go and sin no more.” …Why are we suffering?..Because we are sinful! So if Jesus is taking responsibility for my sins, and I continue to sin…this is using Jesus as a door mat. This in not love of Jesus. This is dishonesty. Jesus is so kind. He may forgive. But when God sees that we are taking advantage of Jesus in this way…He will not forgive. He will punish…baptism or no baptism…we have to be honorable in our relationship with God and His son. Otherwise we are hypocrit.
So these things have to understood. Catholicism is good. Jesus is immaculately good. And we also have to be good. Spiritual life is not so cheap, that now I am baptized, and I can contiue to do all nonsense.

Baptism is the ceremony. It is the marriage to Christ. If we run off to consort with mammon…this is our adultery. If the church is condoning in this way…it is not the church of Jesus.

These are my thoughts Stephen. Religion is not a sentiment. Just as we cannot break the civil law, …religion is the law of God. We cannot violate, and say, “Now I am saved.” Did he not say, “Straight is the gate and narrow the way…”?

I have a trans friend who believes she was created to be that way by God (she said this was her unique challenge and that everybody has one). She began to transition in her teens and suffered from gender dysphoria since childhood, I of course do not judge her but I don’t really know what to think of it either. Either way we are expected to love everybody but to me this is a very complicated topic. Most trans and gay people think that they were born that way, and if true it is not their fault that they are the way they are, it is nobody’s. She is a lifelong chaste and does not support the lgbtq. She just has a normal and very godly catholic life. I always thought she was a really good example to others because she is just very devout.

Some people believe that being trans or gay and whatnot comes from the soul and they think they have a female soul in a male body or vice versa. But that can’t possibly be true right? Because souls don’t have genders

We ask a Catholic? What gender is the Holy Spirit? And all Catholics say many many different things? Logically Catholics do not understand The Holy Spirit. And I mean this in a good way, faithfully, becoming logical for all Catholics to be able to See God as the Holy Family.

Logically the souls of all mankind are created at conception from the spirit father manifesting from the powers through the created flesh becoming blood and water born for One Failed Body in all mankind.

So true, SisterNightingale, Genders become united through life from spirit natures becoming static incorruption through dynamic immortality transformed becoming again re-imaged for all Creation Transfigured in One Family.

Logically, The Holy Spirit is non-gender, better said rationally and faithfully all gender, all angels and saints, all Old Covenant Saved, all martyrs, all mankind and all Creation becoming again Transfigured, re-imaged in One Holy Spirit and Life Family One God in being.

All mankind becomes from dust becoming blood and water born in created souls through Male and Female created flesh genders from The Father becoming from the failed spirit through the mortal flesh for the created souls of all mankind becoming alive manifested from the powers of the spirit Family and living through the Mother in the created flesh for the created soul becoming with the freedom to choose to love or not to love becoming again hypo-statically united in One Family through two natures from the Incorruptible Spirit through the Immortal Life for the created soul becoming for the Son again Transfigured for all mankind and all Creation in One Fulfilled Spirit and Life Family One God in being loving only and loving with only the most love in One Gender, re-imaged becoming again for all Genders in One Family One God in being.

I think it also depends on the soul. And the circumstances when they are born. For example, if someone wishes to have a daughter, then maybe they get it because they wish for it.

But for reasons we cannot explain, something that I am sure not God’s fault went wrong. What it is a lot of us are not entirely sure. I asked why myself, but when I asked it in a lgbt church, one member just told me not to worry about it because thinking about it will just make things worst.

I don’t think so myself. But I think we will need to get our own answer, eventually, especially for those who either suffer from it, or have friends or close ones who got into the same sutuation.

I guess, I don’t know. It is generally accepted that souls dont have genders, and that spiritual beings like angels and the Father don’t necessarily have a gender also. But maybe they do? Who knows, some questions just don’t have answers to them

Even the angels are created souls from the spirit unable to save themselves through the flesh for the angels are souls without flesh the angels had no flesh. Flesh becoming through the Christ from Sacrifice for Penance is how mankind will save the angels.
