We disagree on this point. When one is Baptized, one becomes a member of Christ’s mystical body. Jesus told a few parables about the dangers of one cutting himself off from the body. If one does not co-operate with God’s grace, then He is rejecting the life that is offered him.

I accept your faith on this point. I believe that if we act with faith that we are doing what God wants of us, God will take note, and be pleased. I also believe that God is more interested in our sincere desire to please Him, than he is exactly about our ability to follow to the letter. What if a man is ill and cannot attend a ceremony of the church or mass, or if he cannot swallow food but must be fed intravenously, and cannot receive the holy wafer from the priest…Surely God will not judge such a person harshly. Rules, rules, rules…for example the Jewish clergy several times accused Jesus of breaking some of the rules of scripture. But Jesus told them that the most important rule is to love God with all of our heart. This does not mean that we can ignore the rules…but it means that there is a higher principle than keeping the rules, and that is that God wants our love more than any other thing. And this is also a wonderful thing to understand…that just as we enjoy being loved by others, God also enjoys being loved. Therefore Jesus tells us that this is the highest rule.
Nahhh I’d like to see a full reversal against political correctness and woke ideology.
I’m no expert on how popes do their work but this woke movement needs to end now.
Pope Leo started with “climate change” and my mom alerted to me it immediately. She’s done with the woke nonsense, too.

I’d have to look at what Pope Leo actually said, but I too am tired of the “woke” nonsense. My concern is when we think that anything said about care for the environment is the same thing as calling for government to force the redistribution of wealth in the name of “climate change.”
I am aware of how much trash I generate and how much companies will create useless packaging to draw your attention on the shelf. I am a graphic designer and I notice these things from a design aspect. But, I also see that “climate change” is more about Marxism than it is about “saving the environment.” It is about redistribution of wealth. We as Christians should be good stewards of God’s creation, but in the woke religion, many do not even believe in morality nor God, so what is the point if nothing matters? Who cares if we destroy the planet if nothing matters?
The truth is, we do matter and I believe the planet will be here much longer than we are. I also believe God made this planet much more resilient than some believe. There is a reason why rain is a system of cleansing. God designed it to be.
Have you seen the man who is turning used plastics into fuel? Pretty impressive. The process looks very dangerous though. He has had things explode on him while experimenting. I’m all for crowdfunding his experiments.
I’m getting off-topic here, but I am willing to give Pope Leo a chance. I never said that Pope Leo is a snake, but that if he is purposely doing snakey things, he may be snake. I also said that he might be simply making mistakes and not purposely being snakey. We could have gotten way worse, but we’ll see how this all plays out.

I heard that Pope Leo is working on his firs Encyclical. I hope and Pray that it brings forth unity in the Church and not more division.
Pope Francis was a divider.
Jesus said that He came to bring not peace but a sword and that the Gospel would turn family members against one another. He also said that the world hated Him and would hate the apostles too for giving evidence that what the world does is wrong.
If the pope states that marriage is only between a man and a woman and that human life is sacred from conception till natural death (things that are already Catholic doctrines), that will be divisive and cause people inside and outside the church to hate Him. Many other Catholic doctrines have the same effect. I hope he will be asking, “Which side are you on?”
Has pope Leo said anything about any of the gruesome murders of Christians by jihadists? You know it’s happening, a lot of Christians are being murdered by them
The news doesn’t mention anything about it but it’s well known that jihadists are butchering Christians in the most heinous ways. I’ve heard the jihadists murder Christians in such shocking ways that even Satan himself would be stunned by how insanely cruel and sick the murders are carried out. Just ripping people to pieces
See that’s what the pope should be telling Catholics. If he’s not telling us the truth, then he’s lying by omission. Being politically correct is a sin in itself.
To have a politically correct pope is a waste.
So far, Pope Leo is speaking truth (Praise be to God). We’ll see what his first encyclical that he is working on is about. Hopefully it isn’t being written by Pope Francis’ Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández. That guy is weird (and not in a good way).
