So to clarify. I don’t feel strongly either way, when it comes to the abortion issue.
But some friend told me this joke, and i thought it was kinda funny. So here it goes
“Some company fires their workers. After that, the company makes a sign outside, saying (My company, my choice).”
Would be lying if i didnt find his one extremly funny!
Sadly, some Union members believe a company belongs to them. And sadly, some employers act entitled to someone’s body.
The joke is more based around
Implications vs your own rules.
As in, it is no longer their company, but once was? I guess I’m not understanding the joke, and they say that when you have to explain a joke it is no longer funny.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh shoot…good one!
Hmmm, I didn’t find it funny at all.
Maybe because my opinion on “my body, my choice“ is that it is a lie.
The child that God created inside a mother’s womb is not HER body, it is HIS body!!!
Food for thought: in Matt 18:6, Jesus says:
“ Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
If the punishment for leading a little one into sin is a millstone around one’s neck, imagine what the punishment must be for anyone that supports the killing of God‘s child in a mother’s womb.
I consider that voting for any party that includes abortion rights as part of their party platform as giving material support for abortion.
Fr. Altman, in Wisconsin, preached this and he was removed from his parish when his bishop told him to stop and he said that he couldn’t because it was the truth.

There is a stand-up comedian (now canceled for believing that transing kids was/is immoral) had some of his jokes stolen by other comics. How, it wasn’t that they stole his jokes, but that they inverted them. They took the truth out of the joke and replaced it with the inversion of the truth.
Similarly, this is what the Devil does. He takes what is good, true, and beautiful, and he perverts it. The Devil cannot create, so he takes what God has created and makes it sound good, but it lacks truth, or contains partial truth, to convince, manipulate, or deceive.
Abortion jokes are very hard to pull off (unless you have a crowd of degenerates).
The closest joke about abortion that came close to being true was this Bill Burr joke (language warning). I tried to find a clean version of this clip, but the act of abortion should offend us more than foul language.
Cade,
I’ve seen Bill Burr‘s routine that you attached before and I’ve actually used that story on some Catholics in our church that vote Democrat & say that they can because our church says that you should look at the whole of a politician’s work and not just their stance on abortion when you vote.
I believe that the Catholic Church is completely wrong with their logic on voting and I think that many priests and bishops are on the road to perdition by not taking a stance on abortion and telling Catholics that they are not to support abortion any way.
The way that I look at abortion and politics is this. If you believe abortion is okay, you lose credibility when it comes to everything else you stand for.
It would be like if a candidate was pro-slavery and I am an abolitionist. The individual might have something good to say on other issues, but if they cannot get this issue correct, the other issues don’t really matter.
I reached out to someone at our Church who is Democrat and asked him how he deals with this issue of abortion within his Party. He never replied. Or maybe he just doesn’t use Facebook messenger.
I am a Libertarian and the Party is split nearly 50/50 on this issue of abortion. The co-founder of the LP has publicly stated that abortion is not a on the litmus test for who is or is not a Libertarian. And our plank used to try cater to both sides of the issue, but obviously fell short from a pro-life point-of-view. Many delegates had tried over the decades to remove the plank from the National platform with no success (until 2012 when pro-life libertarians had the numbers and was able to get it removed).
There was chatter that some were going to try to add it back in at this year’s 2026 Convention (and they had the numbers to do it), but thanks be to God, we ran out of time. I Pray that pro-life Libertarians show up in El Paso, Texas in 2028, which will also be a Presidential year, so delegates will be selecting our candidates for President and Vice President. Unlike Republicans and Democrats, our delegates elect the VP nominee as well as the Presidential nominee.
Back to abortion jokes. Robbie “The Fire” Bernstein has an abortion joke and it is not good either. I don’t know that it is possible to tell an abortion joke and it be funny (I could be proven wrong).
Side Note: Here is stand-up Comics Robbie Bernstein and Dave Smith talking about the topic of abortion:
