Why not just start calling taking a dump an abortion. That is what it is? You are ending a bowel movement. Why not start calling it an abortion too? How many abortions have you had?
Expelling the lifeless body of your child is not an abortion. To call it this is insensitive. If you have ever had to experience the loss of your child and had a D&C, I Pray that you do not believe the lie that āyou have had an abortion.ā These people are sick and want to shame you into accepting abortion as being morally acceptable.
Furthermore, if a loved one dies in your home, should you leave them there? Or are you āabortingā them from your home? There are people who claim not to be pro-abortion, but would prefer the term āevictingā the baby from ātheir body.ā Murray N. Rothbard held this view that a mother has the right to evict the āintruderā from her womb. I like Rothbard, but he was wrong on this issue and his friend told him such, saying that, say you find a stow-away on your plane or boat, would it not be better to land the plane or dock the boat before evicting the human being? How much more wrong would it be to evict an innocent human being?
Now if the stow-away has died it might not be wise to keep the remains on the boat and justified to remove the body. Much like, it probably is not a good idea to leave grandma in her recliner if she passes.
I recently heard a story about a woman who died in her chair while watching television. Her body was not discovered until he bank account was drained from auto-bill-pay and her electricity was shut off (and therefore the noise and light from the television was too) and her rent payments had halted to a stop. Only then did her neighbors think something was out of the ordinary. The smell of the rotting vessel was assumed as coming from the trash bins outside the apartments.
Iām getting off topic here. My point is there is a difference between removing a lifeless body and causing the death of another human being. And to claim that these two things are the same to make yourself feel better about condoning murder is insane. And to say that removing a lifeless body is not the easiest decision to make, but sometimes necessary.
Hope this helps illustrate where I am coming from. You are never going to convince me that abortion is good. Nor that having a D&C to remove a lost child is abortion. Nor that taking a dump is having an abortion. You can call these tings whatever you want (medically speaking), but they are not the same things.
So, how man abortions have you had? Hopefully none. And if you have, there is healing and God can use your story for good. But, donāt try to justify your āchoice.ā
And if you have not checked in on your loved ones in a while, might not be a bad idea ; )
