I attended Adoration (at Midnight) two weeks ago and it was wonderful! I love Adoration and I’m a bit of a night owl.
We have Adoration an hour before every weekend Mass so I get to go then, I try and go early for the weekday Mass to spend some time with Jesus before Mass. We lost our center and Adoration chapel for Hurricane Ida, do not know when they will ever be rebuilt.
I attended March 17 and try to spend an hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament at least twice per week. My source of strength, peace and time to listen to Jesus!
I’ve been snowed in and haven’t been since Dec. But as soon as Spring arrives and it warms and melts ice I’ll be going as often as I can! And to Mass. There is Adoration everyday following Mass. Thanks be to God! Can hardly wait
My parish is celebrating our 75th anniversary, we are having 75 hours of Adoration in thanksgiving as the beginning of the celebration. We are a very small parish, 180 families, down from 250 at the 50th anniversary. We can only muster weekly Adoration for 3 hours and 24 hours once a month, I take the 2-4 am hours as I love being in the church, lights low, just me and Jesus in an intimate setting.
