It doesn’t surprise me. One thing the slight lifting of the blackest of veils has shown is how global and how complete the criminal enterprise that uses “governance” as its mechanism, is. I think it would be naive for us to assume the RCC is not complicit, even if only largely being aware of the criminality and the evil and not sounding an alarm to the world.
My understanding is that the RCC has held many things in secret for many centuries.
