There are Many Pentecosts in the Bible

  1. It is worth remembering that Mary of Nazareth can be considered the “privileged witness”[9] of the events of Jesus’ infancy[10] that appear in the Gospels (cf*. Lk* 1-2; Mt 1-2). In the prologue of his Gospel, Luke informs his readers that “since many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been accomplished among us, just as they were handed down to us by those who were eyewitnesses from the beginning,” so he also decided to investigate “everything accurately anew” (Lk 1:1-3). Among those eyewitnesses, Mary stands out as the direct protagonist of Jesus’ conception, birth, and infancy. The same can be said of the accounts of the Passion, since Mary was “standing by the cross of Jesus” as “his mother” (Jn 19:25), and also of the period leading up to Pentecost, when the Apostles were “devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus” (Acts 1:14).

Peace to all,

Mary, The Mother of God “privileged witness” from the Virgin Birth was there with them, they were in the New Eve, together, “In The Christ” in the “First” Church.

OMNiLogically, “In the Christ” becomes Immortality rebirth Baptized through the New Eve from Holy Spirit Incorruption in the New Adam for Jesus becoming through Both natures through the New Eve from The New Adam becoming “In The Christ” for all mankind.

John 20:20 is logically Visual Acuity: What is 20/20 vision? 20/20 vision is a term used to express normal visual acuity (the clarity or sharpness of vision) measured at a distance of 20 feet . If you have 20/20 vision, you can see clearly at 20 feet what should normally be seen at that distance.“20:20,” and perfect vision is seeing with New Eyes the Family of God becoming again for all through Both Natures from the Faith of Abraham through Isaac for Jacob, for all mankind becoming together in One Family, I believe.

The Pentecost in the Upper Room is the Pentecost for the Jews in the Institution of The Sacrament of Confession in the fulfillment of the New Living Sacrifice to the New Priests when Jesus says for Penance from Sacrifice to come through the words of Absolution for the forgiveness of sins for both natures becoming in Communion with Him again re-Sanctified for both natures through The Host from the spirit through the life “everything accurately anew” (Lk 1:1-3) in the Host, “In The Christ,” when Jesus says, "If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven,” I believe.

OMNiLogically, “In the Christ” becomes Immortality rebirth Baptized through the New Eve from Holy Spirit Incorruption in the New Adam for Jesus becoming through Both natures through the immortal immaculate flesh in the Transformed Incorruptible New Eve from The Incorruptible Will of the Father for Holy Spirit Incorruption from Family Powers conceived for all in the New Adam from Sacrifice through Penance becoming statically unfailing and dynamically pulsing through His Passion united in being “In The Christ” for all mankind even becoming again transfigured for all Creation In One Holy Spirit Family One God in being, OMNiLogically.

Peace always,

There are many Pentecosts in the Bible: yes, it was already a Jewish feast when the apostles gathered and received the Holy Spirit. That wasn’t the first Pentecost.

Peace to all,

The First Pentecost is “The Pentecost of The Catholic Church” through The New Eve in the Immaculate Conception from Angel Gabriel.

Mary’s Pentecost from the Annunciation from Angel Gabriel is the First Pentecost through the Immaculate Conception from a Singular Grace from the Holy Family transforming Mary through the Will of the Holy Family becoming The Catholic Church in 0 A. D. (Anno Domini) Latin for the Beginning of Church Time on Earth and the Year of the Lord, the same year as The Birth of Jesus, I believe.

The Epiphany, The Manifestation of Fully God in Man Sanctified Baptized for all Transformed Immortalized and becoming Holy Spirit Incorruptible now able to become through death for resurrection glorified and transfigured again in One Holy Family One God in being is The Pentecost of the Flesh from the Holy Spirit in the Jordan River, Baptized from Saint John The Baptist also born Sanctified immortal and incorruptible, I believe, expressed OMNiLogically.

Well Pleasing to God, The Holy Family, I believe is what “He said.”

The Pentecost in Corinth was with Saint Paul with Saint Peter for all Gentiles is perhaps the third or forth Pentecost where they introduced the Gentiles Temple of the Unknown God as Jesus to all, I believe. I don’t think quite yet Saint Peter understood the Mind of God, OMNiLogically, and was most likely amazed at Saint Paul’s fire and courage just to walk right in to Corinth and give them the Fire of the Holy Ghost, and said to Saint Paul, “Be Careful these people eat people,” no just kidding, he did not say that, but Saint Peter did said, " Who would not Baptize those Saint Paul gave to the Holy Spirit today in Corinth?" and this was a Rhetorical Question, I believe.

Peace always,

OMNIlogical Pen for The Holy Family

Pentecost is mentioned in the books of Tobit and 2nd Maccabees. The Jews for Jesus website says that Pentecost is the same as Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, a harvest festival, mentioned in Leviticus and Deuteronomy. Since the Maccabees lived about 200 years before Christ, the annual holiday is at least that old under the name of Pentecost, and if Shavuot is the same thing, then it was being celebrated even more than two centuries before Christ. Going only by the mention in Maccabees, I would conclude that the Pentecost mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles was the 150th or 200th Pentecost.
