The SSPX Excommunication is Justified

The purpose of this post is to bring about Catholic awareness of SSPX status, it’s dangers, and consequences (especially spiritual) of participation and support of it.

Not only is the Excommunication of SSPX (it’s clergy and supporting members) justified, but some of it’s “sacraments” are illicit and invalid, including Marriage and Penance.

The consequences of schism by SSPX, brought upon themselves and their conforming and supporting congregation, not only rightly justify Excommunication but also declaring as illicit and invalid their Sacraments.

  • Those two SSPX “sacraments” (marriage and penance) currently offered by SSPX are unlawful (illicit and invalid). Period! No debate required.

  • This issues behind SSPX is not about the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM). TLM is still offered and practiced in the Roman Catholic Church. I have recently attended several TLM Masses in one of my former parishes, advocated and approved by our diocesan Bishop.

  • SSPX had publicly has declared that the new Mass (Novus ordo) “is evil in and of itself regardless of circumstances”. Oh boy! what a web we weave. Thus SSPX says that the Mass which you and I attend ARE EVIL. Well thank you Satan for that! You’re such a great companion!

  • Another thing to be aware of about SSPX is that they widely promote division in the Catholic Church, encouraging Catholics to distrust our clergy, bishops and hierarchy. Members and supporters of SSPX should NOT be trusted because they use tactics of lies, half-truths, manipulation, deceit, Cafeteria Christianity, and anything that would bring about seperating you from the Church. We can recognize these tactics also in use by the Evil One.

  • As explained in the video by Catholic Answers, those two sacraments are NOT lawful. Thus if you go to an SSPX priest for Absolution, he cannot absolve you of your sins. And if you go to an SSPX church to be married, you’re still not married.

  • The lay faithful also risk Excommunication, not being limited to their pretend priests and bishops. So, if you do internally side with the SSPX, you Excommunicate yourself.

:heart: HOWEVER, the good news is that – if you fallen (been led into) schism by SSPX, you may be reunited with the Church. The Church doesn’t condemn you because of the errors you’ve been deceived by SSPX, nor unknowingly led into. And neither do I. I have once been there, and done that, so I empathize with you and your family. We want you to come back Home. You are welcomed back into the Church, but please consult with a real Catholic clergy for instruction. We love you, and miss you! :heart:
