St Peter’s 180 about Jesus

While praying the Glorious Mysteries this morning, meditating on the 2nd Mystery, the Ascension of Our Lord, I had a thought come to mind about good old Peter: contrast his attitude towards being near Jesus when he first became a Disciple (Luke 5), to his attitude after the Resurrection while fishing (John 21)
He went from “depart from me, Lord, I am a sinful man”, to, being so moved by seeing Jesus onshore, that he jumped into the sea to swim ashore to be near him!

Happy Easter, everyone

This is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this.

I was talking to my co-worker who is Protestant about how when Catholic Christians Pray the Rosary, we are reflecting upon Sacred Scripture.

What you have shared here is not only profound, but also a wonderful example of how God can speak to our hearts, not only when we read the Bible, but when we Pray and reflect upon the Word of God.
