“Why the HELL is there a Gay Pride symbol (on mans shirt on 2nd pic) on the back of a supposed religious booklet? My wife picked this up at St Anns Catholic Church, Hornell NY. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!!!
” — @EdsPurgatory
Agenda! This is what I say in my head when I see this kind of nonsense.
My suspicions were correct when I saw this. The Jesuits are behind this publication (along with Benedictines). Fr. James Martin writes editorials for this publication.
If you see Give Us This Day in your parish, skip it.
Thanks for the warning!
Won’t be buying that, then!
Wow…Churches are going woke…that’s sad…
I don’t innerstand why the LGBTQ+ Community has to dip their hands in everything. They literally can’t leave religious people alone. You’re exactly right Josh, it’s an agenda. Too many people are blind to this. I was told by a reputable source that the T in that acronym they’re trying to get rid of women so that only trans-men are allowed to bear children. And honestly, at this point, I don’t care what everyone thinks of me when I say that, but it’s the truth. They don’t want women to exist anymore, so they’re trying to get women in particular to have sex changes so that way they can have a society quite literally made up of trans men and men. And if you think for one second I’m spitting out non-sense, I’m not. I heard this from someone that knows all too well about this agenda. So husbands, guard your wives, and wives get a concealed carry if you can or have pepper spray or something. Cause, I’m telling you right now, this is their goal!
-A gay man.
I think there’s something similar going on with funding abortion. With federal funding of Planned Parenthood, everybody who pays federal taxes can be looked on as cooperating with and funding the abortion industry. The same with all the companies funding abortion, such as paying for employees to travel to get abortions. And as Earthsstudent noted, pushing the LGBQT agenda. I had been a Target customer for a long time, and sometimes the company was involved in good efforts, as when it gave gift certificates to blood donors. But when it started selling toddlers’ clothes that said, “Bye-bye binary,” I said, “No, bye-bye, Target,” and I haven’t bought anything from Target since then. But the tide rolls on.
To advertise LGBTQ as normal is to scandalise; no matter if just a missably small symbol on a so-called Christian book, it equates to this:
Is that A.i.? I don’t know what is reality and what is fabrication these days.
Yup. Ai. Microsoft 365 wouldn’t produce it for me as it said I was mocking LGB but funny enough after we had a row I transferred over to ChatGPT, Microsoft’s online equivalent, and it came up with that effort following a few edits. I knew it found it funny, from its follow-up response to my verbalised approval. I like the ‘WEN’, which Ai came up with…as in Women-Men! ![]()
Consequence of the toxic rainbow, not only for straight people but (as a distant secondary point) the long-term one for LGB adherents:

Pharmaceutical companies will become very wealthy as a percentage of the world gets sicker (inclusive of LGB mail-order registrants!
).
Are you referring to the teeny tiny 1/4 of a rainbow heart?
“teeny tiny 1/4 of a rainbow heart”
One-quarter or three. Makes no difference. The devil in disguise. Your words are vomit dressed up as sweetness. ![]()
Don’t be a…‘Cafeteria Catholic’.
Modernism is in part responsible for people mistaking Scripture for some other set of writings.
Democrats…pah!
Hey Morgan, just so you know, my Father taught me that LGBTQ+ isn’t natural and is a type of sickness. I chose this. But what I will say is, my Father and I don’t get along very well, and because I struggle to win his approval, I think that’s part of the problem too, because people who are LGBTQ+ tend to struggle with getting along with their family, specifically the same sex parent.
But, in truth, it’s both me and my Father’s fault. I could be a better son and he could be a better Father. I just feel bad cause my poor Father has to deal with a son who may as well be a coward.
Were you the one I talked to about this problem? Cause I don’t remember, someone said to go to Church and I’ve been meaning to go to Confession and to ask for a blessing, but my job is an overnight job and by the time I wake up, Church is already over. I need to do that yet, but when I remember to do it, I can’t do it, and when I don’t remember to do it, I can do it. So, I dunno…I just wish I could get better, cause struggling with this divides family’s…
Hi. I’m replying in quick response because I don’t know when I’ll next get around to commenting but appreciate your candid and open response is to such degrees that it equates to ‘sharing’ and that is a very big deal; therefore, that in mind, yes, to say we had a convo over you returning to the Church.
Working nights is obviously a hurdle. Would there be another Church where you could go that might have Confession at a later time; otherwise, you could arrange one - I tend to think where arranged confessions are concerned, make it anonymous, i.e. ask for a screen. Priests forget anyway, but it is about serving your own requirements.
I don’t go into the reasons why people behave in different ways, too much, and with homosexuality and forms of I tend to be mocking but essentially with a view to being cruel to be kind. It is to put across testosterone. It’s tantamount to cutting off the subject. It is sinful and where sin is concerned, take no prisoners. Christ actually says to cut sin off, so take that as one’s premise.
However, yes, LGB adherents (using that term to sum up because it is simplifies descriptive terms) would have on some level felt neglected from feeling loved. And this can be parental or societal. As kids we also have experiences that can be nightmarish. I don’t keep hold of any bad experiences but some people might. Some guys appear to have more oestrogen but which is still outweighed by testosterone and hence why they are born male.
Being sorry to God is taking responsibility for oneself, in entirety. From there, you can learn to forgive others. It is also a good idea to find a time for silent prayer because this will bring God into your day, each day, and from there you would find a way to address these concerns as they need to be done. Remember, also, that we have Guardian Angels. That particular subject has at times been in danger of tweeness, largely due to pride because adults want to give the impression that only children require them to keep safe. Praying to one’s Guardian Angel but also St. Michael the Arch-Angel is a movement of Heaven. Remember that sinfulness can be insistent and so look to battling sin as…a battle, a war, in which you are defending your soul and which you are fighting to release from its present attachments, because it is not only sin but also the world and the devil which inflame. Going to God is in fact to be on the attack against the enemy.
Thanks Morgan, as always it’s a blissing to talk to you. I hope you and your family are doing well. Any tips though for battling a strong pull to sinning? I can go 3 months without sinning and then I fall right back to sinning, cause for some reason at that 3 month mark, the pull to sin is so strong it’s ridiculous.
Thank you! The same to yourself. ![]()
The devil has in mind to keep you where you are. He…literally…studies you. Your movements and behaviours and reactions. He knows your vulnerabilities.
The pull you feel is guile. This is the personal aspect, where in those moments one attempts to excuse oneself into (a state of) sin. Any feeling missed is attributed to an emptiness not being replaced. The area of life then must be made up of goodly experiences. The devil can and does place thoughts into your mind. Demons seek entrance and inhabitation. He acts between the intellect and emotions. That’s his route in. You may even have an infestation or some form of possession. But first place is confession to obtain not only purity but the motivation to sustain what is best.
If falling back and you have distanced yourself from people and materials which serve only as a temptation, then you have to maintain definite prayer. And as said, silent prayers, as in just being silent, “Come, Holy Spirit”, and saying literally nothing for so many minutes is not only praying to God but in quite absolute terms inviting his dominion into your whole disposition and day. And in fact, I would say that this is a first-base action.
Be careful of pride. I’m going to share something with you because you shared something with me.
I went for six months feeling as if one particular trait of mine in my character was put away. I remember the day, as I sat there and started to imagine being a public minister or taking up some such role. Then I went and got involved in something a bit later on which messed up where I was interiorly. And I was sat back there again, as if on that first day of the six months, and as if those six months had never been. My anger-related trait came back. I am leaving details out but suffice to say I know it was the devil who was the rogue agent powerful enough to tip my swift character-slide that day after six months of being something of a new person, back into being a person he would preference in the world. Being aware of Pride means not letting down your shield. I became proudful and I know it was the devil who struck a blow.
That all took place a few years ago…
Pride is the principle doorway to diabolic attacks. Fight and fight you must. You wouldn’t be asking this question, even, if you didn’t really want to be. And furthermore, you wouldn’t be anywhere near even thinking about approaching some fight for your soul had God not called you to it, first.
You seem like an unhappy person. I am sorry.
Who, sorry? If you are still talking to me…I don’t need to delve into psychology. I believe in God and that is enough. The rest is taken care of, whether or not I comply at all times. My biggest hurdle at the moment is impertinent people who appear blown-up in their egos - in my region and country and on occasion online.
I will pray that the Holy Spirit brings you peace and comfort.
