I grew up in the 80’s & 90’s and I miss the times when Contemporary Christian Music was better than what you hear on Secular Radio. I was very active in my youth group and most, if not all of my friends were Christians.
This past weekend I was going through boxes of old papers and came across Christian magazines and promotional items for various apostolates.
I am nostalgic for those days. Maybe I was just sheltered (blessed) as a child, but I felt like the world was more Christian. All my cousins on my Mom’s side were Catholic. A third of our school was related to me or distantly related to me. None of my daughters’ first cousins are Catholic. Come to think of it, none of them are even Christian.
We need a revival in the United States, and in Europe even more so.
I know what you mean man! The world has become very secular! I just came upon a really interesting Thomistic You Tube channel that looks like it has some great teaching if you’re interested.
