Happy New Year!

The Secular World begins their Calendar’s new year on January 1st. Many make resolutions, though this tradition is less popular than in decades’ past. In the Catholic Christian Church, the first Sunday of Advent is our new year on the Liturgical Calendar.

Will you be doing anything different this year than last year? Will you be making a renewed commitment to your Faith, physical, or mental? Maybe you plan to read more or eat less.

Exodus 90 for 2025 begins on January 20th. The Knights of Columbus are always looking for new/old members. If your Parish has a Bible Study, this might also be a great way to plug into parish life. Or maybe attend monthly Adoration and/or Recconciliation. What are some other ideas to grow this New Year?

Yes, my new year always starts on the first Sunday of Advent! My resolutions are in my Goodreads monthly blog from December 2024. For anyone interested in reading, I’ve added the link. A blessed 2025 to all of you!
