Can The community of believers help a friend regain his faith?

My best friend is now tormented by the devil.
He has lost his faith and is deeply ill.
He has lost the joy of living and his connection with the world and people.

During a prayer, it became clear to me that what could help him was to receive love and empathy from other Catholics.

My dream is to create the biggest chain of support for him. May he receive a message of peace and love from every Catholic in the world.

So please help him. Take 2 minutes to send him a message of peace by email.
And spread the word to your loved ones. May they do the same.

My friend is Vincent and his mail is v.pissart[at]vpgsa.be

May God bless you.

Can you elaborate? When you say “deeply ill”, does your friend have a physical sickness? Is your friend battling drug addiction or does your friend suffer from mental illness? Both of which should be dealt with by your friend seeking actual healthcare.

No one talks about it, but the older I become, the more it seems like the underpinnings of the faith are: Fear, Guilt and Shame. When friends and loved ones leave the faith, it illicits a significant fear response in believers.
