The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, Colossians 1:15
As Son of the Father, Jesus is just like Him. If we have seen Jesus, we have seen the Father, He told Philip. We sons and daughters of God ought to become just like Him too. I think that sums up the planned result of salvation.
There is the son; and there is the Father. Father and son are One, in the sense that the son only desires the will of the Father. That is Oneness. Jesus says, not my will but Thy will be done." He can say this because both of them, Father and son, can have individual wills, just as we can have individual wills that are at odds with the will of the Father, or in harmony with the will of the Father. But if my will is in harmony with the will of the Father, in that sense we are One…but simultaneously we are both individual. I have not become the Father. I am the eternal servant of the Father. Similarly, Jesus and his Father are One, but they are simulataneously individual beings. Jesus talks to the Father, prays to the Father, and surrenders his will to the will of the Father. To say that Jesus is the Father, is a misunderstanding. Jesus is love of God personified. You and I also existed before anything was created. There is one text in the Bible wherein God says, “Before you were in your mother’s womb, I knew you.” This is because we are not this material body; we are eternal spirit souls. But because we have rebelled against God’s Supremacy, therefore we have been placed in the material dimension, where everyone has to labor hard for survival. The narrative of Adam and Eve is an allegorical expression of our rebellious spirit. We are all fallen angels. In heaven God lives with the unlimited heavenly hosts. Here in the material world, we are a minority group. Jesus came down from heaven to show us the way to return to our eternal home, where there is no birth, old age, disease and death. He is God’s servant, God’s eternal loving son. There is no Garden of Eden on this planet. There never was. The Garden of Eden is the Spiritual world. The spiritual world from which we have fallen. What we refer to as Satan, is nothing more than the influence of our individual rebellious spirit. When we follow Jesus, actually taking the position of "Not my will, but Thy will be done, our rebellious spirit is subdued. Temptation does not come from without…it comes from within. One who loves Jesus becomes free of his rebellious spirit, free of his own temptation. Jesus is our “parole officer”. If we break parole, we again become imprisoned by our own rebellious spirit.
So true, Peter1, God bless you always and through the Sounds of Transformation and glorification and transfiguration for all becoming again through your words.
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” Jesus
Logically, Mary becomes the First Person in the Will of God on Earth through the transformed Immaculate Conception when Mary says from The Annunciation through Angel Gabriel to God The Father for all, “Let not my will but Your Will be done to me.”
In all generalizations, The first spirit failed becomes the Will of God in all mankind, undeflied through two natures for all in One God.
Rationally, on earth, Mary becomes the New Eve in the Will of the Father in all mankind becoming from The New Eve transformed becoming immotality for Jesus Virgin Born from the Immaculate Conception through the Christ becoming Holy Spirit incorruption through The Christ in all mankind becoming for both natures, Spirit and Life, becoming in One Body becoming again all immortally glorified and incorruptibly transfigured undefiled infallibly reimaged in One Holy Spirit Family One God in being,
Thank you Brother Steve. Discussion is the beginning, so that we can have a sense of direction. Jesus says, “Those who have ears, let them hear.” Not everyone is ready to hear. Some are curious. Some are satisfied to be church “members”, going to church on Sunday. And some want to be remade by the influence of Jesus within our hearts. Imagine! Even when Jesus walked on this earth, only 12 saw fit to be his intimate associates. Therefore how many can be expected to be serious today? Even face to face, Jesus told the pious man of means, “Give it all away to the poor, and come with me.” But he couldn’t do it, even though face to face. Today the wealthy consider themselves to be the good Christians. Jesus said that he came to tear the family unit apart so that he connect with the one who was ready to accept what he wants to share. He also said that doing “good works” was not enough, but that we have to wear the yoke that he joyfully carries. Of course, one cannot artificially renounce the things of this world, because that will not endure the passage of time. But the only hope is to carry Jesus within the heart 24/7 so that he can do his work within us and through us. That is the “peace to all” formula. If we can’t do it, even if we wish we could, gradually a change will take place within our hearts.
