This is a duplicate post of what I previously posted in the Catholic Living category. I’m reposting this here in Traditional Catholicism category because its’ this is the Category I wish my focus to be in my contributions to CatholicTalk forum community.
My Catholic Life! offers a free online Program to help supplement RCIA, as found in your local parish. In this Program there are a total of 24 Programs/Sessions, each divided into 3 categories with 8 Sessions per category:
Volume 1. Catholic Beliefs
Volume 2. Prayer and Sacraments
Volume 3. Catholic Morality
The Program isn’t a substitute for attending RCIA in your parish, but rather is intended to supplement what your local Catholic parish may offer with their Catechists. It’s a 24 week study of the entire Catholic faith. The structure of the Program by My Catholic Life may differ from that of your parish, but the contents are essentially the same.
I also use/refer back to this RCIA Program as a refresher. It seems that no matter how often I return to it, there is always something new which fits my current place in life.
Another free and trustedCatholic RCIA / OCIA online Course program is offered by the Catholic Online School (COS).
Registration is required. They do accept donations, but the Course is free to enroll without costs.
Their Course program is quite intense and comprehensive, not in written form, but video-based. A total of 63 Chapters/Classes are needed to complete this Course.
The first 20 Chapters of this Courses’ focus is that of the Creed.
10 Classes are focused upon The Celebration of the Christian Mystery.
24 Chapters with a focus on Life in Christ.
6 Classes with a focus on Christian Prayer.
Lastly, are 3 sections covering Post-Baptismal Catechesis or Mystagogy with “Certificate of Completion”.
My third RCIA / OCIA free online resource recommendation is by the Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church located in Potomac Falls, VA. This is a video podcast which they’ve published on YouTube.
