I'm watching Pleasantville and thought of you Cade

@Cade_One , so I’m watching Pleasantville for the first time, and they mention Holden Caufield. Reminded me of you talking about that book. What was it, Catcher in the Rye?

Yes. I read the book, because they told us that the book had been banned when our Parents were in high school. Whenever someone tells me I can’t do something, I am more intrigued.

I could have very easily been Adam or Eve in the garden, had the Serpent told me that I was not allowed to eat of the fruit. But, because God said it, I trust that God know better than I do. Men, and snakes, not so much. What do they know.

I enjoyed the book. It is hard for me to read fiction that is not in first person since reading that book. My cousins, both literary snobs, and socialists, hate the book : )
