Are we in the end times?

The director of the movie “The Revelation of St. John”, recently showed in the USA, and John-Henry Westen, his interviewer at LifeSiteNews.com, believe that they will soon see the Second Coming of Christ.

Yet, the prophecies point to near the year 3000, where 1 day is 1000 years and Jesus resurrects on the third day, which by the way is the seventh (7000 years) since creation.

Jesus said “of that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of Heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.” (Mt 24:36), yet the prophecies must be fulfilled first!

  1. The approved apparition of Our Lady of Akita, Japan: fire from heaven will destroy 1/4 of humankind.

  2. She repeated the same in Salta, Argentina (yet not approved but hasnihil obstat, imprimatur).

  3. In the approved messages of San Nicolás, Argentina, she said she is preparing the complete defeat of Belial (Judges 19:22; 1 Samuel 2:12; 2 Corinthians 6:15) among other interesting prophecies.

  4. Bl. Anne Catherine Emmerick: Satan will be released between 50 and 60 years before the year 2000.

  5. Pope Leo XIII: Satan will be released in 100 years.

  6. Our Lady of Medjugorje: The 10 secrets (catastrophes) will occur during the lifetime of the visionaries, who are now around 40 years old.

  7. St. John Paul II prophesied that millions of north Africans will walk into Israel and then invade Europe.

  8. St. John Bosco provided many documented prophecies by exact year, milestone reaching up to 2411.

Conclusion: we are close to:

  1. The first series of chastisments

  2. The Beast and the false Prophet

  3. The fire from the sky wiping out ¼ of humans

  4. The 3 days of darkness

  5. The illumination of consciences leading to massive conversions, including Russians and Muslims

  6. The triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

  7. The Second Pentecost

  8. The thousand-year spiritual reign of Christ on earth (not the heresy of millenarism) ending with

  9. The second round of chastisments

  10. The Anti-Christ leading:

  11. The Great Apostasy

  12. The 2 prophets (Moses and Elijah)

  13. The conversion of the Jews

  14. The Second Coming

We’ve been in Revelations for a while now. As far as a date? Don’t go by dates. Jesus is already here, he’s been here, for a very long time. But yes, there are certain events that have yet to happen.

The simple answer, Yes.

Yes , We are at the end times, We live in the last times before Jesus come.

You haven’t even read the explanation below the question! You can also read it here:

You haven’t even read the explanation below the question! You can also read it here:

I don’t know if we are in the end times.

One thing I’ve noticed is that nearly every past generation had Christians who thought that they were living in the end times including the disciples of Jesus, and yet they were all wrong, the world just kept on going.

The world was much more evil and wicked in the past than it is now. Since WW2 it has been relatively peaceful with only small minor wars here and there, before then there was always multiple wars being fought everywhere.

The main reason we don’t have major wars now is because of nuclear weapons, they all know that a major war would mean the use of nuclear weapons and that has the potential of ending the world as we know it. So maybe we are close to end times if we enter a nuclear war. Or maybe a system malfunction or hack could cause nuclear weapons to be deployed accidentally. Who knows

I bet you didn’t know this, but if Hilary Clinton ever became our president, it was possible we were gonna be nuked.

We’re extremely blissed, I’m telling ya.

I don’t know, but I have lived through only seven decades. Maybe it was worse, but I know that in my lifetime a lot of people thought abortion was horrendous, and later even its advocates said it should be rare, but I never hear that any more, and now there are hundreds of thousands of women (yes, the majority of abortions now, and abortions number in the hundreds of thousands annually just in the United States) flushing their tiny babies down the toilet. Maybe the world isn’t as bad as it was long ago, but to me it sure seems worse that it was when I was young.

Yea when I say it was worse in the past I’m talking more about warfare before WW2. You had WW1, before that Europe was engulfed by the Nepolian wars, before that Europe and Asia’s kingdoms where fighting themselves constantly, the British Empire waged war all around the world, the Mongol empire waged war in all Asia and eastern Europe, and it goes on and on, the muslim expansion, the crusades, way back to the Romans, Alexander the great, Persia, Egypt and all the wars in between. Armies would rape, pillage and loot towns slaughtering men women and children. If you look back at history there was always multiple wars happening all the time. Not so much now since nukes came about, their all scared to use them and so they should be.

I agree that from the 1950s to now it has gotten more evil in terms of wicked ideologies. But abortion isn’t new, it was still going on before WW2 as well, even infanticide was common in some cultures because they simply didn’t have the resources to raise more children.

God bless
