Continuing the discussion from Why do you belive in God?:
How you have responded is most uncommon, but is explicit in scripture and very real in life. “I am with you always,” is available in all three characteristics of God - the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The expression “Abba,” which literally means “Daddy,” infers a most personal relationship. Unfortunately Jesus I think was more than a little surprised at our stubbornness, how we would not “See” or “listen.”
We take note of the Miracles that are attached to “saints,” not understanding that these in one form or another can be daily occurrences to all of us, if we simply depend upon God - like they do.
The conversation is meant to be continuous, the dependency total. Make every thought and act a communion with God and life will change almost immediately, but we may fail to notice until we learn how to listen and see.
Choose you next problem and discuss it with God - don’t rush for an answer, just wait with all your senses deployed in Trust and he will not disappoint. Don’t be meek to share. God Bless
