I’m only half-joking here, but President Trump fits the description more so than Pope Leo if I’m being honest. Read Revelation 13:12-17.
But, even more so Emperor Nero, who’s name adds up to both “666” and “616” (depending on the Bible translation and how you spell his name).
It is scary that 3.5 years into the Abraham accords it was predicted in Danial that there would be great destruction.
Daniel 9:27
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
This passage speaks of a covenant (treaty) made with “many” for one “week” (interpreted as a 7-year period). The prophecy suggests that in the “middle of the week” (after 3.5 years), the covenant is broken, sacrifices cease, and “great destruction” or “abomination of desolation” follows.
Interpretations of biblical prophecy, particularly regarding the Book of Daniel, suggest that the 3.5-year mark after a Middle Eastern peace covenant is a critical period linked to significant conflict, often referred to as the “Great Tribulation” or the “abomination of desolation”.
President Trump is sort of a Nero type. “They could not buy or sell unless they had the mark” (Rev. 13:16). Sounds kind of like Trump’s tariffs or a centralized digital currency that will likely be ushered in under Trump’s second term.
“All who refuses to worship his image…” (verse 15). Trump? Trump was not wounded “by a sword and yet lived” (verse 14), but he was hit by a bullet (allegedly) and lived and there was an iconic image of this pushed quite heavily during the re-election of President Trump. And he did post an image of himself this week as Christ!
Verse 13 says, “And it performed great signs (sending a rocket around the moon), even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people.” Now where did we just see fire coming down form the sky in full view of the people? Bombing in Iran? Or perhaps we may see it with Project Blue Beam under Trump?
Pope Francis has only criticized Trump’s war and Trump’s followers (what’s left of them) are mad. You can almost say that MAGA suffers from Pope Derangement Syndrome : )
Remember how the Catholic Church protected pedos (as sucky as that is)? Now it is MAGA who protects pedos.
