# TLM Catholics: Why do you reject the Novus Ordo?

Do you still follow Pope Leo XIV?

I don’t understand the difference between the TLM and SSPX. Can someone explain this to me? Can I attend TLM Masses and still be in communion with the Church and Rome (forgive my ignorance)?

Also, why is the TLM under attack?

The TLM was promulgated and formally compiled by Pope Saint Pius V in 1570 in his bull “Quo Primum”. The TLM’s proper name is the “Tridentine liturgy/mass”, although I prefer calling it the mass of Pius V.
