# Steubenville Bishop bans Latin Mass at Franciscan University

I have cousins who currently attend Steuby. Two of my children’s Godparents graduated from Franciscan university.

I hope this brings more awareness to the Traditional Latin Mass (to which I’ve never been).

Had this merger been allowed to take place, I think the TLM would be restored in Steubenville. The Columbus bishop is much friendlier to the TLM. He has assisted at our TLM oratory multiple times and even lead us in a Eucharistic procession.
