Donald Trump promises a 5000 dollar dividend to every adult if Republicans retain control of the House and Senate after midterm elections.

What do you think?

Hard to make good on that guarantee. You sure he’s not joking? If they can pay, when people say “yes”, then why not. They spend unthinkable sums on presidential campaigns to win the voters. But instead of having to tour the country, they can just hand out some funds. People should vote for them, anyway, because to vote for the Democrats is to vote immorally and so is just cutting a long story short.

I feel the same about Nixon and the Watergate Scandal. _‘All The President’s Men’_, while an exciting film to watch, was really just about journalists whinnying over a fair voting system because of a legal obligation when everyone really knows on an unspoken level that the Demos are monsters in political positions. Republicans have the benefit of edified consciences. So, of course you do whatever you can to make sure that murderers don’t get into power. A duty of mankind. However, one should obey the law of the land in most instances because of the risk of looking like a bandit should you get found out. I don’t even see a problem with paying people, on a legal level, because the gesture has been made publicly known.

Voting systems in the West makes up what we call a democracy. In the US and UK. And we are seeing other democratic entitled parliaments being instituted in other countries around the world. The problem with the Left and Liberals in the UK and the Democrats in the US is that they propose to take the stand for the poorer groups of the population but then in contradiction, because:

1. The opposite to a Right government always fights for a non-democratic situation as they are opposed to capitalism
2. They take advantage of social welfare safety-nets.

So, there lies the irony: They do the very opposite to the reason they are lobbying as a party.

What the left-leaning parties should do if they were legitimate is to argue for social welfare laws, only, while the reality is never that. And not that the Right don’t do that. In other words, democracies are really made up of those who want a democracy (Republicans) and those who don’t (the Left and Liberals and Democrats). Because it is always the Left and the Liberals and the Demos who misuse power instead of govern.

It definitely sounds like it’s skirting bribery at the very least.

The cost will be over a trillion dollars more debt no fiscal responsibility - is more debt needed - the cost of the war is in the trillions of dollars also.It all has to be payed back eventually.A short term loan at best is what is being offered. It all comes from tax payers not Trump.

It’s impossible to tell if Trump knows he’s lying or if he actually believes the things he says. If the former he’s a con man. If the latter he’s profoundly delusional.

Donald Trump is trying to subvert the electoral process. The support of conservative Christians was crucial to his election. In fact he never would have become president without their support. Trump was never concerned about the lives of unborn children but took an anti-abortion stance to obtain the support of conservative Christians who voted for him as a unified block. Trump was originally pro choice but as he began to align himself with the Republican Party and developed political aspirations he shifted to a pro life position. Some Christians realize this but are concerned about political results and are willing to wink at Trump’s motives. More recently Trump’s position has been to make abortion a matter to be decided by each individual state.

This is the definition of Republican Socialism!

I personally think the Republicans are in trouble. They have sold America out to Israel. They have sold us out to Data Centers and Flock-type Surveillance (especially here in Ohio)!

They will try to use the fear Democratic Socialism, while justifying hypocritical things like Republican Socialism.

And they can blame Libertarians. They can blame Thomas Massie, Tucker Carlson, MTG, Joe Kent, Candace, but the ones they should blame is themselves.

Like when Democrats promise “free college” and “free healthcare” and “free rent” and on and on. It is all socialism (and bribery for control over us).

I choose not to vote for socialism and tyrany.

This type of spending is what causes inflation! So, no, they do not need to drive up the debt more than they already have (over $40 Trillion at the moment). And other Countries who used to buy our debt (so they can purchase dollars from us) are starting to sell America’s debt back to her (which is not a good sign of a strong dollar).

So give every American a million dollars and inflation will continue to skyrocket. You can go buy a [500 million dollar Zimbabwe bill](https://www.amazon.com/Zimbabwe-Inflation-Authentic-Circulated-Condition/dp/B0B8DRF587/ref=sr_1_3?sr=8-3) on Amazon or eBay for more than it was worth when it was printed (now around $9)! Inflation got so bad in Zimbabwe that it was better to wipe your bum with this promissory note than to try buying anything with it.

If you really want to learn the story of the American dollar, read “What Has Government Done to Our Money?” [[PDF](https://cdn.mises.org/files/2024-08/What%20Has%20Government%20Done%20to%20Our%20Money%202024.pdf)] by Murray N. Rothbard.
