Anti-christ? Can it be Trump?

Everything in Revelation is symbolic. The “whore of Babylon” was the false religion of emporer worship which the Roman empire was trying to institute among the people at the time. The Antichrist was the hated emporer Nero whom the early christians feared would rise from the grave. The “seven headed beast” was the roman empire which was founded on seven hills. Nothing in revelation has anything to do with modern reality. The author of revelation had to disguise his message in symbolism in order that it not be recognized for what it actually was by the roman authorities. Bible verses must be understood in the historical context of the time and place they were written. Another example of this is the idea that Jesus called himself the “messiah”. In Jesus’ time and Jewish culture a messiah was commonly understood to mean a military or political leader (like king David) that had come to restore the nation of Israel to her former glory as in the days of the monarchy. This was obviously not Jesus’ intention. Therefore he never would have given himself this title.

It’s a sad thing to watch people give their opinions that have no foundation at all. They just speak to what ever comes to their mind, sadly.

Revelation is not symbolic.

Jesus had every intention to raise up the Throne of David as in the days of old.

Luke 1:30-33 And the angel said to her: Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found grace with God. Behold thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and shalt bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the most High; and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of David his father; and he shall reign in the house of Jacob for ever. And of his kingdom there shall be no end.

When Jesus came the first time He took the Throne of David and gave the kingdom of heaven on earth, the Throne of David, to Peter and the New Testament church for which the kingdom was taken from the jews and given to the gentiles.

Luke 22:29 And I dispose to you, as my Father hath disposed to me, a kingdom;

Amos 9:11 In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David, that is fallen: and I will close up the breaches of the walls thereof, and repair what was fallen: and I will rebuild it as in the days of old.

St. James, bishop of Jerusalem, at the Council of Jerusalem specifically cites the prophecy and confirms that it fell upon Peter, as the first New Testament [rock] leader of Jesus’ church.

Acts 15:6-7, And the apostles and ancients assembled to consider of this matter. And when there had been much disputing, Peter, rising up, said to them: Men, brethren, you know, that in former days God made choice among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. …And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying: Men, brethren, hear me. Simon hath related how God first visited to take of the Gentiles a people to his name. And to this agree the words of the prophets, as it is written: After these things I will return, and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and the ruins thereof I will rebuild, and I will set it up:

Trump is a coward and a liar. If you don’t know this you haven’t been paying attention for the past ten years.

You don’t know what you’re talking about.

David is clueless. He was totally refuted for his lies.
